I have been going here with my daughter for a few years. I love how my nails look with the UV gel and it typically lasts over 2 weeks. As I stated in my other review I was disappointed but after visiting Eva two more times everything has seemed to improved! I'm happy to say my nails are lasting much longer and not chipping away. The attached picture is my thumb a week after getting a manicure here. It's infected, scabby and painful. Yes there was fungus underneath. I come here a lot, and I was pretty vocal this time that I didn't appreciate drilling into my cuticles. I'm not new to manicures and I'm also not super picky about details, but I know this should not happen, and it shouldn't happen a week later. Having my gel resurfaced cost $70 because the nail tech took it on herself to redo all 10 nails when she said she would just "fix" my thumb. This is the thumb she fixed. Too bad. Let me start by saying I have gotten my nails done every month for the past year (and a little more infrequently the year before). E-nails is expensive but I truly thought I found a place in Bayonne that actually listened to how you wanted your nails done so I didn't mind the price. I would only go to Eva to get my nails done because she understands and remembers how I like my nails done. Then I started seeing Gina who is just as great. (I liked this place so much I would go get cash out of the atm and come back to give it to my nail tech!) About two months ago an incident occurred that made me decide I would never come back. I had just gotten my nails done and (ALREADY PAID FOR MY MANI/pedi) and had oil on them. I was picking out a nail polish for my pedicure when the bottle accidentally slipped from my hand. I was mortified and clearly shocked (I didn't do it on purpose!) and after the shock I asked for a tissue to clean it. I started cleaning my mess but the bottle shattered big time and caused a mess so I was cleaning the chair and the floor trying to wipe off nail polish before it set. In this time the whole salon was quiet and it was awkward, I mean no one said it was okay or anything. Then I sit to get my pedicure and the Reiny was very kind about the situation helping me to laugh about it. Then Gina comes over to me after I was done with my pedicure to tell me I had to pay for the bottle and apologized that she was asking saying Eva wanted me to do it. This was upsetting because I already felt bad and planned to get money out of the atm to pay for it. But after not speaking to me or addressing it she merely had someone else come tell me I needed to pay for it. I was so upset and embarrassed at that point. I got the money returned and handed it straight to Gina and left, as I was leaving she said "thank you come again" which just upset me more (that was truly the first time she spoke to me since the whole ordeal occurred). I will no longer be returning and asked my friends stop going too. Don't come here if you're clumsy. read more

Terrible attitude and terrible customer service. They specialize in gelous color powder dip nails, yet the won't refill a dip set which is the same process as doing a dip nail full set. How can you soeacialize in a service but can't even offer a dip fill? The whole point of a dip manicure is you can refill it and not have to get a whole new set each time. Might as well specialize in gel mani cures NOT dip powders. Clearly none of these people are up to date on the nail trends and shouldn't be offering a service they can't provide. Very disappointed because I heard such great things but they have terrible attitude. Not to mention they are breaking several state board safety laws which I observed during my friends mani/pedi. read more

Went here many months ago, and received a gel pedicure. It should've been a red flag to me when I saw the lady not properly sanitizing her tools and immediately having me come in. I initially went to this place and had a very positive experience. Months passed and I decided to return but called in advance and was told the cost of the gel nails was $35. When I got to the nail salon, I realized the woman was not doing the service I asked for so I stopped her and she explained that the service I wanted was DOUBLE the price. I was so embarrassed and angry that I asked her to please remove the polish so that I could leave. Instead of getting an apology from the first woman who misinformed me over the phone, she had an attitude . Then on top of that the second woman who removed the polish wanted to charge me $10 after they wasted half an hour of my time! I will never go back there for the rest of my life. Rainy is absolutely PERFECT at giving pedicures. She's so gentle but thorough. She gets under the nail & in all the little corners. She also give a great massage. I literally come here for her. She's great. I would 10/10 recommend her. The only unfortunate thing about this place is they stopped including two great things in their basic pedicure. It was a hot stone rub down on your legs & a plastic bag of oil being put on the heals of your feet. If they brought that back it would deff be a 5/5. Thank you Rainy! read more

Don't waste your money. Went in for a pedicure. The lady who did mine never cleaned her tools from the previous client. I even asked "those are sanitized and clean right". I watched her throw them into the sanitizer for 30 seconds without rinsing them off. Gross! She barely paid any attention to the skin on the bottom of my feet, which isn't bad to begin with but I can make my own nails look pretty.. a pedicure is to get the dead skin and cuticles... bad experience. This is a pretty awful nail salon. The first time I went for a filling and asked for a powder acrylic filling the lady went ahead and did gel ( she will continuously push gel on everyone because it's more money) this was my fault because I was not paying attention, so I payed and left. Less then a week passes and the Gel coat she puts on actually peels/cracks off!! Ridiculous! Now I had a set of acrylics on that were on there for a little while so I blamed it on the acrylic that was on top of my tips and then her putting gel on top. It is really hard to find a good nail salon, so trust me I wanted to make this work. I waited a week to get my nails done again. Gina did them and she was super nice and did a really good job. (When I asked for the tips the lady who did them last time was again trying to push gel on me and when I told her what happened she said it was because it was the pink gel and I should get the white gel because it's better?) anyways, got my nails done they looked bomb. She did everything right. So that was Friday and it is Tuesday and my nails are starting to crack around the cuticle and lift. I'm so disappointed. I've gotten my nails done for years and have never experienced this. And I always get acrylic because I hate how my polish changes colors with gel. Please look somewhere else for a nail salon ladies. This was my first time trying this place after my manicurist moved and wow was an incredible job done! The shop closes at 8 and I went in around 7:15 asking for a full set which usually takes about an hour and a half. Eva seated me with open arms and she did a great job. I'm VERY VERY picky with my nails and how they're done and I honestly have nothing bad to say about how my nails were done.
