This is one hell of a test for a physical therapist because rewiring an entire body is quite a challenge. In the last 5 years I've been to 4 other physical therapists, so I feel pretty informed in leaving this review. After all the failed attempts, my geneticist referred me to Meghan Mizrachi in late July. I feel SO lucky to have found her. My condition is super rare, has lots of ups & downs, and literally changes every day. I am also quite distrusting of most medical professionals from spending years struggling through the healthcare system. But Meghan is so amazing, knowledgeable, understanding and curious that I trust her 100%. She does a killer job tackling both the big picture of getting me strong & stable, AND treating whatever random issue cropped up since I saw her last. She also loves to learn, like attending working sessions with local groups of PT's or attending symposiums/conferences for certain topics. And we've become very close in general -- I spend a lot of time there every week and she's so personable! I started at the 72nd location which I love. The office manager Marie is great and Saul the owner is friendly and chatty whenever I see him. When the Jersy City office opened I was excited because I live in NJ and I would def follow Meghan wherever I could. The location is right across the street from the PATH, so it's super convenient. It's inside Club Metro which means access to all kinds of equipment that can't typically fit in a small PT office. This also allows for endless modifications when needed and more flexibility in switching up the exercises. Some of the work is done in the private room and some is done on the gym floor, depending what's being worked on. Thanks to Zion, and specifically Meghan, I finally feel like I'm becoming more stable and getting close to trusting my body (at least a tiny bit). PT will be a lifelong journey for me, and I know I am in the right hands to get me to a good place!!
