With that said, there were other therapists there that could benefit from obtaining more professionalism and how to handle the envIronment of working with patients better. I have been experiencing a serious issue with my neck and right shoulder for a few years. Upon waiting for an MRI testing, I was recommended to JAG in Bayonne. Once my MRI results were retrieved by me, it was shown that I have 4 herniated discs in my neck with one of them pressing on my spinal cord. This is a severe condition known as Cervical Myelopathy. This generally is a condition where if severe, can only require a surgical procedure to correct the issue. It is also important to note that when at JAG, I was being given different therapists each time which wouldn't enable me to have a consistent level of care. On 12/23/24, I had a therapist there where I mentioned my condition. The therapist tried talking me out of a surgery that I desperately need. If I do not proceed with the surgery, there is an intense chance of paralyzation. As the writing of this, I have gait and balancing issues which is causing serious pain and numbness in my legs and hands. I mentioned about showing them the MRI report only to be told "oh I don't need to see it. Surgeons only tell you certain things because they want the money. You should come to us for 2 months to see how you feel." On this same day, this person had me lifting 15 pound weights laying on a table to do bench presses. I expressed that my right arm is too shaky and it is a major risk. They replied "Oh I'm right here I'll make sure you do not drop them." Even though they walked away and left me alone. I have been dealing with serious pain in my neck and shoulder since. My mother was a patient here as well who thought the world of her therapist Ruju. One day that I was not there, my mother was confronted by a therapist stating she is wrong for allowing me to get a surgery. Keep in thought, I am a 33 year old man. It is a decision made from the guidance of an expert surgeon that influenced me to make the decision for my health. it is completely unprofessional conduct from two (unnamed) therapists that use personal opinions to influence one's decision without a comprehensive understanding of a patient's MRI reports. My father was also a patient short term and his back was hurt from one of these unnamed therapists. On their behalf, it is completely upsetting as we do not wish to return to this JAG location in Bayonne. The 3 therapists mentioned above, deserve much credit while the others in mind need a vast understanding to conduct themselves more like professionals rather than the way they did handle themselves. I wanted to bring this to light as reference for those who may be given misinformation by anyone.

I had a friend bring me there so that I could check it out, and I was impressed. Even though my insurance is out of network, they accepted it, and kept my co-pay low. They arranged transportation for me until such time that I was able to drive myself. Everyone there has been so pleasant. Hani takes the time to really learn about you & explains the process. They are caring and professional, and make sure that you are progressing. I go in, do my stretches, then the physical therapy exercises. When I'm finished they put me in the ice cuff. That's my favorite part. I would definitely recommend them if you were looking for something in the area.
