Then after two intervertebral injections I walked again and finished study to be a Rad-tech. Three years ago, 2024 the day of my birthday I did another acute sciatic but this time for the left side, I was not in wheelchair but this time I walked crying for the pain and my leg was numb from the knee to the point of my toes. I went again to Coney Island Hospital and worse than 2008 was treated$150 to only stay in the emergency not an MRI and later by mail $179 for a pain injection that didn't help in nothing, now I know I have my nerve pinched in two different places , still have numb and worse last weeks with electric sensation in my foot that is kill me . I find Dr. Sanjee again now and now look like my insurance will be accepted in the office then I will try to find him and wish he can help me again after 18 years. Why I write all of above because the other two sad commentaries, a depressive place because not has windows? Really? Can't listen what happen with other patients? Or the fact that this place is mostly geared for people who got injured at work and are looking for worker's comp. Or maybe it's cuz there's no way to actually socially distance in the waiting room and everyone's talking loudly on their cell phones. But the less time you spend here, the better. I signed up for an appointment on Zocdoc and then got a call from them later in the week telling me that slot actually wasn't available and made me a new appointment over the phone. Maybe keep your avails updated? Either way, there was actually a line to sign in when I got here (all the way to the elevator), but it moved pretty quickly, and I was able to see leave the godforsaken waiting room after about 25-30 minutes after my appointment time. It's truly night and day once you go through the doors. They have a bunch of PT equipment and people doing their PT, and then some offices. I met with Dr. Agarwal, and he was super nice. Took the time to explain everything to me. Reviewed the x-rays I had from another doctor, and did an utlrasound. I will say, he was kinda pushing hard for me to do PT, but I didn't want it or feel like I needed it. He wrote me a prescription for topical cream, and it was actually an insane amount that I didn't realize until I got to the pharmacy. I guess he was pretty unclear, cuz when I was checking out, the receptionist/assistant was confused about what he actually wanted me to do next. Decisively concluded that they didn't have their shit together when they sent me a text reminder of my follow up meeting. It said to call them if you needed to reschedule. I did, and their office was closed. I left them a voicemail, didn't go to my appointment, and... that was over a week ago and nobody followed up. Against my better judgment, I made a follow up appointment via Zocdoc again, and nobody ever confirmed the appointment, so I had to cancel it because I didn't want to go there and then be turned away. I gave them a couple of chances. While the location is convenient, I don't think I ever want to step foot in here again.

I went for an opinion before the 1st surgery in 2004 w another doctor who was supposed to be the best in North Jersey - he wanted to implant the new swivel disc just on the market, I would be his 13th new patient for it, then heard of Dr. Cammisa, he says you don't need to do that, the less invasive surgery would be best, my back was great for 16 years, then old age and weight took effect.
