The team at the shop complete car care kept me and my family up to date and did ALOT of work in a prompt manner. If another reviewer suggested they do fleet work/contracts I have to say I'm not surprised. Their work was expedient and their manner professional. They treated me and my vehicle and its contents with respect, even taking extra time to go over the removed parts with me and explain the problem. The change in the vehicles behavior validates their honesty. In speaking with others the value to cost is in line or better than other shops in the greater Detroit area which is greatly appreciated as well.

Gordie's Garage preys upon senior citizens by overcharging for repairs and fabricating issues that…read moredo not exist on their vehicles. An elderly lady took her vehicle to Gordie's for a simple headlight bulb replacement and ended up with a broken head light assembly that now leaks water when it rains. Gordie's refuses to rectify the problem and to add insult to injury provided a lengthy fabricated list of unneeded repairs that would add up to thousands of dollars of unnecessary work. Fortunately this senior lady had the wherewithal to refuse additional business with Gordie's and instead took her vehicle to another auto repair shop that took care of her ethically and honestly. Bottom line - stay away from this dishonest repair shop.

I brought my car here to get my donut gasket replaced on my Toyota exhaust and I thought I may as…read morewell have him change the spark plugs as well since I had them already and and my regular mechanic was out of town. I told him that I could not find my gap gauge so he had to Gap the plugs. Before I left I asked him about it and he told me he gapped them to .33. I told him that the proper gap for that car was .44. I knew this for a fact because I have always changed the plugs myself. He said no he looked it up and it was definitely .33. Later I again looked it up even though I knew I was right and indeed it is what I stated, just to be doubly sure I called the Toyota dealer and they confirmed it and told me to pull those plugs and regap them properly. I just do not understand how someone could make such a basic mistake on something like a spark plug. Within 6 months my donut gasket was already making noise so I ask my mechanic to check it out and he said that the bolts weren't properly tightened and that the guy probably put the gasket in without first using high temperature silicone to seat it which is the proper way to do it. I also found out that he charged me as much as the dealer to put that new gasket in! I mean that literally. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to anyone. I have never even heard of somebody screwing up something as basic as a spark plug change. The donut gasket also was not done properly. Who in their right mind would bring their car back to a place like this? I would avoid this place, seriously.

Thank you Justin Lepor - Service Provider; Jamie Chind - Certified Technician; and Tim - Service…read moreProvider. I bought my 2018 four-door Fiat vehicle from my dealership in 2024. It's a Texas car and in perfect body condition so I began to work with them on getting the engine replaced (106k miles). I then began saving my money but by December 2025, my dealership closed (Genesis Alpha Romero-Fiat). With no where to go (but with lots of cash saved), I checked around and contacted Golling Alfa Romeo Fiat, but they never responded back to me. I was in a bind until I receive a mailing from Kozak in March 2026. They were nicely located in-between my home and my employer so on 28 April, my car was handed over to them. I could not be more grateful and happier with their workmanship and services (and I've worked in automotive). My car now has a new engine, new AC and cooling system, new suspension system, new struts and additional components and my car runs perfectly. My car was completed the last week of May, but I had their collision shop (Distinctive Collision Repair; Alexis - Service Provider) do some minor repair work on a fender, so technically I got my car back on 19 June. Now the car looks brand new and it drives and runs perfect. Update: On 27 June I had to drive to Grand Rapids, so this was a perfect time for the test-drive. The engine performed perfectly with excellent acceleration and the gas mileage was much better than expected, and the new suspension was stiff but smooth. The money spent was worth it ($15k). It is more cost-efficient than buying a new vehicle ($30k-50k), and a new "used" vehicle typically has 100k miles on the engine ($15k). The cost was worth every cent versus the cost of a new / used car.

My folks have a 2019 Ford Escape that out of the blue gave the error message "Engine Failure…read more Service Immediately". It turns out that there was a recall for their engine/year/vehicle due to design issues causing coolant to leak into the cylinders. This failure resulted in need for a short block (engine), which is over $10,000. Unfortunately, their vehicle was not on the recall list, because of the month it was manufactured (expired back in May), so it was not covered. We went through many channels trying to get Ford to cover it, but no luck. We were going to have a different engine put in by a non-Ford shop. I called Roy O'Brien parts to see how much an short-block engine would cost, with having it shipped to a different shop. I spoke with the parts manager, Todd, and explained the situation. He went well above and beyond, researching and reaching out to other people/departments to see what he could do to help us out. Todd was able to bring the cost down for us and his communication the whole time was nothing short of amazing. If I could give Todd at Roy O'Brien 10 stars, I would. We will be forever grateful and highly recommend Roy O'Brien Ford, because of Todd.
