Lakeview Village…read morePark is like the girl who finished in fifth place of that competition of Hillsborough County Parks. Just like that fifth place finisher's routine, there were some great things about it. The duck pond halfway along the one-fourth mile circular trail, top notch. Beautiful Lily pads floating on top of the water, great shade, some nice flowers along the bank. The basketball court seemed to be in really good condition and the playground with its four different slides and swings (two for the big kids, two for the toddlers) and balance beam also drew quite a crowd. Unfortunately, when put up against perfection, the warts, well, more like the ho hums are very apparent. Lakeview Village Park has a very ho hum picnic area. It features three picnic tables squeezed under a less than illustrious pavilion. There are some 10.0 picnic areas in the Hillsborough County Parks system, Lakeview Village Park is not one of them. Also ho hum was the bathroom. While its good they had one, some parks don't, the men's room I was in had ants flowing into the sink like crazy. Oddly enthralling but it also reminded me too much of the time my brother dropped (and broke) his ant farm in my bed. Not cool... So, while Lakeview Village Park is an ok park to visit, especially if you live in the area, it isn't the kind of place to go out of your way to visit. When put up against some of the perfect parks Hillsborough County has to offer, it falls a few tumbles, flips and landings short. Its like a finishing-fifth-when-Katelyn-Ohashi-puts-on-a-performance-worthy-of-a-10.0 type park. I could also see Branchton Park being a bit of a lover's paradise. There are benches placed periodically around the loop. They are far enough apart so as to offer you the feeling of being alone in the world. That's why they would be perfect for sitting with a date, holding hands and eating sushi. Or reciting poetry.Two baby swings, two older kid swings. Basketball court. Balance beam. The park has plenty of space for dogs to play, and it's always nice seeing them have so much fun. It's a great spot to let your pup socialize and get some exercise. For novices and pros alike, this is the perfect way to introduce kids and adults to camping. You get the best of both worlds - the thrill of the great outdoors with the comforts of home. However, a quick tip for fellow glampers: make sure the Velcro seams on your tent are sealed. Otherwise, you might wake up at 3 am to a raccoon staring at you eye to eye, munching on a bag of Cheetos. We appreciated Captain Larry and Sarah's fun attitude and courtesy. They were attentive and even led our group in singing happy birthday to my adult kids. We loved Anclote Island! Just beautiful. Captain Larry helped us set up and take down our chairs, Sarah set up the lunch we brought and they provided swim noodles and life jackets. I highly recommend booking with them!

The saddest part is the thing that makes it a joke is the board and only the board my son is on mine or a league why was he had an awesome coach the coach that coach two teams because he's point can't keep coaches or kids a coach that worked hard and believed in our kids and put a lot of time in effort in to all of his teams! Well apparently the boardmember believe means nobody's favorite Michelle got upset with Tommy our coach and thought she was going to punish him for something he had no control over she suspended our coach right before a game because on a Saturday there was a kid playing that do not fill out the registration form how was the coach supposed to know that that's the boards job she said Tommy was cheating and using illegal player this kid has played in every game this season and Michelle has been at those games keeping score and all of a sudden she wants to bring it up now also my sons registration forms are in my car and two other teammates still also have Thier paper NOT BECAUSE WE DID NOT WANT TO TURN IT IN but because Michelle is never there and has not asked for it! So her clean was if the tile place about a registration form and gets hurt they could be in a lot of trouble well about my child and the other two and there's probably more because the board is very on organized they do not care about the children! So our coach left and his team is followed Eastpointe is now left before T-ball teams and one minor be that's pretty sad and it's all because we don't vote for board members the right way we pick and choose our friends Michelle does not even have kids at play at the park or have played at the park in a very long time neither does the president... anyways all I can say is if you want to sign your son up for Little League or your daughter don't go to Eastpoint!!! #teamtommy #kingsbaseball
