Very busy ice cream place in Koblenz. The ice cream was really good and the fresh fruit was great. Lots of areas around to sit outside enjoy your food and then place in a bin nearby and keep the area clean. Lots of different flavors and ways to enjoy your dish. 100% worth a try. Staff kind of didn't know who to help next as once you get near the counter it's all spread out and no one knows who's first or next. read more

Whenever we are in my former home town Koblenz/ Germany, I crave a small portion of ice cream in the e Gel o Sia - one of the best ice creams I have had. Huge selection, very good price-performance ratio. I just trust the promise that only absolutely necessary ingredients are included. I haven't noticed a list of additives that are often posted in ice cream parlors. I don't need colorings, aromas, including so-called 'natural aromas', thickeners, preservatives, stabilizers, emulsifiers such as soy lecithin, sweeteners ... A must try, whenever you are in the beautiful old part of the city. Just be prepared: the better the weather, the longer the wait. Worth it, though. Any time. read more

Impressive selection of gelato, sorbet and frozen yogurt! We came here everyday during our stay in Koblenz to satisfy our sweet tooth. I had the passionfruit sorbet, Cubano, strawberry yogurt and chocolate gelato. They were all great and I especially loved the crunchy biscuit! Everything is made fresh daily using natural ingredients! I also liked the modern decor. There's always a long line out the door which speaks volumes about the this gelato shop given the number of ice cream shops in town. Definitely best gelato in Rheinland-Palatinate and probably in the whole Germany! Absolute must. Italian owned, no Kugels, like in Italy. Excellent price-quality relationship. My favourite flavours are Malaga, Tiramisu, Yougurt and Caffee, but overall quality is outstanding. Huge crowds in the evening. read more

Best ice cream I've ever had outside Italy and definitely good value for money judging from average ice cream prices in town. No cones, just cups (small, medium, large) with a certain number of flavours to choose. Rather extraordinary flavours such as sour cherry or Yogurette, but even the plain "Crema" is amazing! There might be a queue on sunny days, but e gel o sia is definitely worth the wait. read more
