Sunday I had a very bad toothache and an infection. The staff made me feel welcome. Dr. Beck is great. Made everything easy for me. I am ashamed of the way my teeth have been neglected, and I am so glad that Dr Beck came to my rescue. ILL BE BACK! lol Linda Maresca

Please find a different dentist. I have no idea where the "Excellence" in their name comes from…read more New to the area and my wife set us up appointments for a cleaning and to see the dentist. Started off with the staff spending about 30 minutes trying to verify my insurance. It was pretty simple, Delta Dental through my wife's policy. I sat in the waiting room until they were able to sort it out. Then I am taken back for my cleaning where I am told that I am due for x-rays. I am then told it will be $65 for an additional panoramic x-ray because they do not have one and insurance does not cover it. I just had this done not too long ago in CA. I was then told if I did not say OK to it then they could not clean my teeth. I asked if they could get it from my previous dentist's office and she said they could, but we already have wasted 25 minutes of my appointment looking up my insurance. I was also told Flouride for the cleaning would be an additional $25 but that was optional. I felt like I was buying a car verses getting my teeth cleaned. I picked up my phone and got out of the chair and went to the front desk. Where I let the staff know that I have never been to a dentist like this and my wife and I would be going somewhere else. I would not reccomend this place to anynone, not even to have my dog's teethe cleaned. Sorry but true!

But the moment I walked through the doors of Watts Dental, the entire staff made me feel right at home. From getting a tooth pulled, repairing two chipped teeth, treating severe gum disease, multiple fillings, root canals, and completing a two-year Invisalign journey. Every step of the process was handled with care and professionalism. Dr. Oleg and his team are truly exceptional. They gave me back the smile I needed and boosted my confidence more than I could imagine. I'll always recommend Watts Dental to anyone looking for quality care and a team that truly cares about their patients.

Then I was going through IVF and had an upcoming appointment, and they asked for confirmation for an appointment and I wasn't sure because IVF is so unpredictable and they called me every day asking and they were so rude to me even though I had multiple days to cancel. The woman who called was so rude the final time they called I told them fine just cancel it (4 days in advanced) and as I was trying to explain to her it's out of my hands and are there any other appointments available and she hung up on me. So i called back and told her to just take me off their patients and I'll find another dentist, she hung up on me again. So- dentist is fine- receptionist is rude AF

Caution - Their billing practices leave a lot to be desired. After a year of my wife and I using…read morethe dentist, we had a very bad billing experience and left. What would you think when an unnecessary procedure is done and then not only are you charged for the procedure but you are expected to pay 400% more than what the dentist would accept in payment from the insurance company? Our insurance identified an unnecessary tooth build up procedure for a cap. The insurance had paid for the same procedure for several other caps. However, the facts the dentist presented in their original claim, a 2nd appeal and my patient appeal were review by two on staff dentists by my insurance company and denied as unnecessary. Taking advantage of seniors seems to be the name of the game in Florida. We don't support those that stick it to the customer. When you use this dentist, you sign a form that basically is their blank check. Very disappointing. We offered to reimburse the dentist in the same amount as the dentist had accepted from our insurance for the same procedure in the past just to close the matter and move on. The office manager said the payment had to be 400% more - $300+ more. Another interesting bookkeeping practice is that from our experience they overcharge for the patients portion of the visit and then you end up with large credit balances for the overpayments. Sometimes we had to remind the office of our overpayment and sometimes they told us of the overpayment. I would never recommend the dentist based on these practices.

When I told her his estimate was too high and asked for a 10% reduction, since I would be paying out of pocket a substantial amount) because my insurance did not cover the work that had to be done, I got a take it or leave it response from the receptionist after she conferred with the dentist. I will not deal with this unsympathetic, overcharging dentist and would not recommend him to anyone.
