Eli cuts my kids hair since they were only 1.5 years old , HE IS BY FAR THE BEST barber I have ever came across . He cuts my husbands hair as well and does a phenomenal job. My kids and my husband get constant compliments. He is also extremely nice and patient . All these fake reviews about the place being dirty and I'm not being nice completely fake go see for yourself. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!!! read more

Eli is the best barber I've ever had. He always nails my haircut because he really listens to what I want. The shop is clean, comfortable, and he makes you feel like family with his friendly vibe. read more

Highly recommend Miller at E & N Chop Shop in Commack. Lately our autistic son was struggling hard with getting hair cuts. We had someone coming to the house and he just wasn't having it anymore. With lots of prepping, showing videos, pictures, talking about what he'd hear and see, I decided to find some recommendations from other moms with autistic children. They didn't disappoint, Miller was very patient and understanding. My son was super excited and when he was done he said "I feel brand new" so proudly. Totally worth the trip from Patchogue! Hope this can help others! read more

Been going for a few years...great vibe and great haircut every time from Stefano. If you book online, you rarely wait more than 5 minutes or so. read more

Eli and Neri can't figure out their finances arguing about it in front of everyone. Gonna charge you slickly at the register to get some extra bucks out of you. Good luck with having an appointment too. Waste of your time. Trust me. Go somewhere else. read more

This place is trash. The barbers suck and on top of it really poor service. I made the mistake taking my son here after moving from the city looking for a good barbershop close to home out east. They had some kid cut his hair and it took almost 2 hours. Again this place is trash. Much better barber shops nearby other than this dump. read more

Called this place to make an appoinment for my son's haircut and the guy stephano tells me to just walk in. Hours later I walked in and all the barbers are giving me the whole run around and looking at me as if I have 5 heads. These barbers operate with appoinment and they are very clicky with their customers so if you're new and dont know a barber there dont waste your time. You will sit in this barbershop for hours before getting a haircut. The quality of the haircut inst that nice either way, happy I dont have to take my son there any more since I found a better barber. read more

Great barbershop! It's clean and has a very friendly staff who provide high quality cuts. I highly recommend!

I have been to this place a number of times from their opening pre-Covid and after. I went today after a three week cruise to get a cut. I asked Josh to give me a similar cut to what I had but shorter. From the front it is ok but from the back I am not sure what happened. I do not recall having him show me the back with the mirror and I did not think of it. My wife was shocked and so was I after she showed me pic. Tomorrow is Sunday and I will have a baseball cap on for sure. Monday in my office - will need to wear a yarmulke even though I am not religious- just kidding I won't but I am very upset. I have a party this coming Saturday night and am hopeful I will get some regrowth. What bothers me most is that he had to know he made a mistake. Very sad right now. read more

E & N Chop Shop - Shocked ---My wife took this shot a few minutes ago after I got up from kitchen table to get a drink and she saw me from behind. Terrible. - Barbers Near Me - Commack, New York

Eli has no showed my appointment once again. None of the other barbers even acknowledged me to maybe let me know that they contacted him to give me an update, they just kept me waiting for 30 minutes until I decided to leave. read more

First time going to E&N Chop Shop for my little guy. Friends recommended Mike and indeed he did a great job! Professional, nice place. Make sure to make an appointment because it got crowded fast! read more

The best and most friendly staff there is. Highly recommend to anyone in the area. You will not regret it!

Average place. Certainly nothing an experience by any stretch. One would think that with all their ways of apps to book appts they would be a bit cooler or more fun than they were. Haircut was average-good. read more

Place is busy, however they are trained to take special care of every single client and it shows. Very professional barbers, with wide knowledge in new and old fashioned hair cuts; I go twice a month there to get my hair cut, I always ask for Mike, he never disappoints read more

Consistently great kids cuts, and although perhaps slightly higher priced than other local barbers, E&N Chop Shop is always clean, the staff friendly, and very good with kids. There's also surprisingly never really a long wait since there are usually a number of barbers working. Definitely recommend you check them out! read more

Place is great, clean, everyone is courteous. Greg is outstanding and never does me wrong.

My son had an appointment today and I waited for him in the parking lot for two hours to finish . What's the point of making an appointment . read more

Almost as confusing as the motorcycle that stands in the shop is the reason why they don't have barbers available for walk-ins-especially on a Saturday. There are more barbers than customers who are waiting. One customer came in with two kids and sadly had to wait as other barbers are calling the names of people that booked appointments and yet aren't there. The motorcycle's cool, but your system isn't. read more

I've going here for years, the place is very trendy and the staff is really cool. I always go with Greg or Stephan but they all do a great job from what I see, I'm just people picky. The pricing is really good for the quality of work you get. read more

Best boy haircuts ever. Love Eli. He's an artist. My grandson is 10. Went to him last year too. This time he wanted the Oklahoma City Thunder logo. What patience needed for this. He's a master barber for read more

I want to start by saying out of all the years I been getting haircuts this was the WORST haircut I have ever gotten in my life. My usual barber was away on vacation so I figured to try somewhere close by. I come in this place and ask for a fade 0 to 3 and also to clean up my beard. This guy does not know what he's doing. It was nowhere close to 0 and it looked like he shaped up my beard with his eyes closed. My beard was completely uneven and looked like two different styles on each side of my face. My hair was longer in some spots than Others it was absolutely terrible. Not only that but he did not shape up my hairline with a razor like every barber I've ever been to does and also did not even use the razor on my neck or face where he shaped up my beard so after getting my beard "shaved" there was prickly hairs all over my neck. He had the softest hands ever for a barber I felt like he was barely even touching me with the machine. On top of it no hot towel? And 30$ for the worst haircut and beard I've ever gotten? And now I have to tip the guy who gave me a nightmare of a haircut ? I can't speak for all the barbers in this place but the one I went to deff does not know what he's doing. He may get along cutting hair for guys with normal haircuts but if you're looking for a fade, shape up or nice looking beard I would not even think about going here it was a complete waste of 35$. I appreciate my regular barber so much more now and I had to see him just a few days later. read more

E & N Chop Shop - How my beard was left - Barbers Near Me - Commack, New York

Out the gate when I started coming here a year ago it was great but the last three times I've been there not so good, very busy, which is fine but when I get there for opening and no one shows up, turns me off. Quality of cuts was good but hasn't been so stellar. To me, it's a roll of the dice as far as getting a good haircut. read more

I found this place looking for a barbershop near my house. Clean shop, reasonable priced haircut. This is my go to place for a haircut. Usually don't have to wait which is always nice. If you need a haircut I would recommend to try this shop. read more

I've been going to Chop Shop since they opened up a few years back. I've been more than happy with every haircut I've gotten. Yesterday, I got my first haircut since the pandemic and Steve did a great job as always. I moved to New Jersey a few months ago and I still come to Chop Shop whenever I come back to Commack to visit family. Highly recommend. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, and quality haircuts. read more

I've been getting my cut from Neri for about a year now and I couldn't be happier. Best place on LI for a fade. Welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended. read more

I can't say enough good things about Eli, my son who has been to four different places is terrified! He runs away, cries, throws a fit- I was always humiliated. Eli cuts his hair now and I will never go anywhere else- I drive from Ronkonkoma.. That's saying a lot. The first time my son freaked out, second time a little less- the third time he actually asked for "his friend" and when he wasn't there one day we actually went home and came back the next day.. My son really took to him! He knows how to deal with kids- he is AMAZiNG! My son was 2 when he started going to him. read more

These guys know exactly what they are doing!! I had a rough idea of what I wanted and they executed the cut perfectly. I watched the other guy work on other people and I an honestly say they are all good! My guy is Mike and knows how to cut my hair. Glad to be a regular. read more

Awesome place. I usually see Greg however Miller and Mike are excellent too. They accept credit cards which is nice as well a lot of barber's don't take credit.( I like to use the Gold Amex whenever possible) I highly recommend this barber shop. Good place to take a child as well they are friendly and calm not like that jerk Boris down the road... Nice easy parking lot to get in and out of safely as well. 5 stars! read more

Does not accept credit cards. That's not a flaw but just a friendly reminder that customers should bring cash. Can't hold it against them, they are a small business who charges an EXTREMELY reasonable $14 for a haircut. They do a pretty solid job and are extremely courteous. They get pretty busy even with 3 barbers which is a pretty good sign. I've had two cuts at this place and they do a very solid job. They are young guys but they cut hair for people of all ages. I'm 29 and I work at a pretty conservative company. They cut my hair in a way that looks very mature without looking old fashioned. read more

Best barbershop in town see my guy Neri every two weeks rain or shine. Greatest atmosphere good people.

My first and last time at this shop. The one owner I encountered overcharged me double for a shape up and refused to charge me the marketed price on the sign. He then proceeded to yell and curse at me in front of other customers and children after I payed the price he demanded. The most unprofessional behavior I've ever experienced from a barber, especially a middle aged man who is apparently a part owner. They will not receive any more business from me. read more

Specifically asked for a shape up, somehow ended up paying $28 just to get lined up. Overpriced barbershop! Quality of the shape up wasn't even $28 worth. read more

Good quality haircuts at a good price. I've been getting my hair cut by Neri for over 10 years now. He has become a master of his craft.

Started going here a couple months ago. All of the guys in the shop are awesome. Well spoken and create a fun atmosphere. Probably the most fun and enjoyable barbershop I have ever been too. The haircuts are spot on and the laughs are just as great. So glad I found this place. You're foolish if you go elsewhere. read more

This place is great. Location is great. Friendly. Me, my 12, 9 and 4 yr old twins come here and have no complaints

Okay so the place isn't that bad. I've been to worse hair cutters in terms of quality. They do a good job sometimes a little rushed but no complaints other than that. There are better places on Long Island- Good for a haircut but not great for beard trim/hot shave/etc read more

Best shop in town. I moved to Commack about 2 years ago, and never realized how hard it is to find a good barber since I've been going the the same place for 15 years before I moved.
