Most of the staff is great but I do find turnover is pretty high so if you liked someone, there's a good chance they went somewhere else 6 months down the line. Some of the barbers were either really slow or just mediocre five to ten years ago but seems the latest batch is much better. Prices have gone up quite a bit over the past four years relative to other places but still in market range. It's a little more jarring here because prices had previously been on the lower end. Lastly the ambiance is pretty good - that is, they've usually had interesting stuff on the TV so that's a small plus!

He is always polite and courteous, and I have never left unhappy. The shop is clean and nice, there is always good music playing ala Sinatra or Dino, and all of his customers talk to one another like friends. I tried to have a normal conversation, but the barber insulted me almost immediately and chose to double down when I attempted to change the subject. The pretentious and cringe Gen Z neurotic energy from the barber doesn't match the retro aesthetic of the shop. I told the story to a friend to understand what's going on with Gen Z and the first thing he said was 'Wait, you got a beard trim?' I won't be returning.

They take appointments and every barber has their own personal contact card to make the process even easier for you to make future appointments. I typically go every 2-3 weeks for a cut and I never have to wait longer than 5 minutes for a seat as they have plenty of barbers available at all times. Prices are average, $20 for a cut and bead clean up. Your barber will work with you for whatever you need. Whilst I haven't gone to many other shops, I have no reason to with this shop around.
