Difficult to find a worthy Barber, but this Barber is worth traveling to. Small but professional, friendly location.

I walked in and was immediately greeted by friendly faces. They could tell it was my first time there but they acted like i've always been coming. My barber was extremely nice and we had a really interesting conversation during my haircut. I had a lot of hair but it didn't take long and was fairly priced at $26. A great classic barbershop. Covid hit them hard but they've fought back and are a great local business. Walk-ins are welcome, James (owner) takes appointments if that works better for you. I do walk-in and I've never waited more than ten minutes. Price is fair (cash only). Definitely worth a visit. read more

I came to this shop with my 2 year old son to get his hair cut by a barber. Usually I take him to a local salon and I figured let me try a barber with him. I must admit this place is a gem! James immediately welcomed us very warmly and the service we got just made us felt like family. My son does not like getting his hair cut and they nicely worked with him and was so patient. His haircut turned out perfect. Their prices are reasonable. Only thing is it's cash only which isn't a big deal but good to know. I highly recommend this place. I brought my son here for his 1st haircut. Well, if you're a parent - you know that the first haircut is a HUGE deal. I didn't want to do it, but the hair was getting in his eyes and I kept getting comments on, "What a cute daughter you have!" So, perhaps it was time. I wandered in with little man here shortly after he woke up from a nap (which turned out to be totally ideal, by the way). James Anthony, the owner, treated me like I was family even though this was our first time in the barber shop. Bobby R., whom I assumed also worked/owned this establishment was also super nice and friendly - but I found out he was just a "usual" at the shop and longtime friends with the owner. Taylor cut my little guys hair, and I thought - hmmm he usually does better with men in general, not so much women so I was nervous. She pulled out the booster seat, stuck on the barber cape (which he looked so adorable in) and started snipping away. I was advised to not be next to him so I sat on the bench and watched from afar. Which, to be honest, isn't "too" afar because it's a small shop so maybe all of 15 feet. And to my astonishment, he sat perfectly still and didn't flinch at all! He didn't seem super happy, but hey - no tears! Not even from me! Gone were the bangs from his eyes and she kept it relatively long as per my request but cleaned up his 'do nicely. And, James gave my son a lolipop for being so good. Just kidding...he gave Momma a loli for handling it like a champ. Soon enough he'll have a loli, but for big firsts like this sometimes Momma needs a treat! All in all, very satisfied and happy and would certainly come back in the future. It is a little expensive for the young tykes ($16, cash only for 9 and under) but considering how great you'll look after - it's worth it. read more

Been coming here for a few months now. Definitely one of the best hair cuts I've ever had. The prices are very reasonable and the quality it's on point. They are all super nice and will have great conversations. The shop has walk ins options so you don't have to make an appointment. The only person you need and appointment for is James. My usual stylist was away for a weekend, and i needed a cut quick. I had gone too long and had an important date coming up. It was the last chance i had. I went to yelp of course. The place was highly rated, but woulf i be able to get in? They take appointments and walk ins. I shot over there to start waiting. I was told that someone was out sick, but there were two guys cutting. One for appointments and one for walk ins. I saw one guy waiting and plopped down. I waited maybe ten minutes before i got called to a chair. The guy was friendly and went over what i was looking for. Then bomb, he was off. We talked while he gave me an incredible haircut. I paid and i was off. It was comvenient, the wait was quick, and most importantly, it was a great cut. Highly recommend it. read more

Found this barber shop on yelp and saw how high they're reviewed so, in search of a new barber gave them a try. Walked in to a super nice, clean and friendly barber shop and was able to get right into a chair. Explained what I wanted and how my previous barber really chopped me up. Gerard did an incredible job blending and fixing the previous job and gave me a perfect cut all around. Nothing beats coming in to a clean and perfect atmosphere. Can't go wrong with anyone in this shop. James works off appointments that he is religiously on time with. Walking in with no appointment usually only has you waiting a handful of minutes. I go with my two sons of 6 and 5 and they sit like angels.
