We contacted District Capital Services to repair a backup in our plumbing that occurred during a…read moreheavy rainstorm. Donzelle responded quickly and did a great job; he managed to get out what appeared to be a tree root via snaking our drain, and showed us via camera damage to our main line. This review is not at all about his service; it was a good repair and of fairly reasonable value. HOWEVER, he verbally told us several things he had noticed about our pipes and our house, some of which were directly relevant to the job. For example: he noticed that painters had dumped paint down our drain, he noticed that our toilet flange had not properly been installed, he noticed that the position of our storm drain outside is non-optimal, and he had suggested improvements. He told us several times that he would write all of that up for us. However, we spent a full month contacting the company trying to get them to send us that report, which we told both him and the company that we needed for insurance purposes. At one point I explicitly listed the things that he had told us verbally that I would like in the report, but we never got it. It would have been one thing had they just refused, but instead we got increasingly absurd documents, none of which we requested. We were given the invoice for the plumbing job we had done with no additional details, we were given a suggested invoice for replacing our main line (NOT something I had requested), and eventually, when for the nth time we asked for a report of everything Donzelle had told us verbally (specifically, the paint and the flange), they ghosted us entirely. Good service, terrible communication.

We also hit a few snags due to city-related delays (no fault of theirs), yet the team still pushed forward, going above and beyond to get the job done right. Throughout it all, I felt like more than just another job on their schedule. Their craftsmanship speaks for itself, and the respect they've earned within the trades is obvious. It's rare to find service this professional, thoughtful, and skilled. I'm thankful I found them--and yes, I'll absolutely be calling on David and Team Done Rite again.

They are responsive and reliable, diagnose the issue, deliver a fair estimate, and render excellent plumbing services, with a good value for the money. I'm a landlord living remotely, so most interactions with them are done via Yelp messaging, phone, and text, while our tenants deal with them face-to-face. They also accept various forms of mobile payment (Zelle, Paypal, cash, credit card, etc.), so being out of State has never been a problem. They make me and my tenants happy because they are reliable and professional...and always keep their word (unlike many other contractors and plumbers out there these days). And even when they have unforeseen issues come up (after all, they are human), they communicate openly and honestly and make fair attempts to re-schedule and accommodate us. I rest much easier at night knowing I have them for all my plumbing needs.
