This place is unique because they are non-commissioned sales. The sales people genuinely want to know your needs and what you are looking for. They have an abundance of knowledge of the products in the market and want to find something suitable for you. Unlike other appliance stores that may try to upsell you on more features you don't need. We were in there on a Saturday afternoon and our salesman spent about an hour with us helping us select the right washer & dryer, and dishwasher for us. He did a great job of telling us about all of the different options that could work for us. That kind of service you will not get at your big box store. Best of all the prices here are very reasonable. I think we got lucky finding this place at the home & design show combined with a bunch of sales going on at the time. At the home show they had given out coupons to save the gst which we also took advantage of. This is the only place I will shop for appliances for in the future!

He knew the dimensions of the fridges without needing to check a manual, and easily and quickly listed the pros and cons of the appliances we looked at. He found us a heavily discounted fridge ( some very minor dents) which was exactly the same as the one we liked on the floor. He found the history of why the fridge had been returned and printed us up a complete manual. He is a salesperson any company would be very fortunate to have in its employ The checkout process was handled smoothly by Kadence despite the computer system being down. She apologized for the delay and thanked us for our patience

Complaint Regarding Poor Service and Communication - Trail Appliances (Langley/Aldergrove Location)…read more I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and communication I received from Trail Appliances in Langley/Aldergrove following the purchase of several major appliances, including a refrigerator, oven range, dishwasher, and microwave with fan. The issues began immediately after we paid for the order. First, the store had our delivery address recorded incorrectly, which caused confusion and delays. More frustratingly, we were not informed that the oven range would not be delivered with the rest of our appliances. As a result, we were left without a stove for two weeks. Attempts to get in touch with our salesperson were unsuccessful--our calls were not returned. When I tried to speak with a manager, I was told one would return my call, but that never happened. On a subsequent attempt, I was told no managers were available. Only after I expressed serious dissatisfaction did someone make a manager available to speak with me. After several back-and-forth discussions with the manager, Roger, we were offered a mere $75 in compensation for all the inconvenience we experienced. Given the lack of communication, the delayed delivery, and the repeated address errors, this offer felt inadequate. Even after confirming the new delivery date for our oven, the company again had the wrong address on file. I had to call once more to correct this--despite having previously reported the issue. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with Trail Appliances' customer service and lack of accountability. I will not shop there again and cannot recommend them to others.

The part was late, so I called the store to find out why it wasnt in yet. The phone rang 148 times before someone answered - this was on a weekday morning. When they answered you could hear people laughing and talking amongst themselves?! Do they just hang out and ignore customer calls? Anyways, they could not give me a reason why the part was not in, so I cancelled the order. Went onto AMAZON and ordered the exact part for almost half the price and it was delivered to my door the following day - FREE. OMG - I will never purchase anything from Home Depot that I can get from Amazon going forward.

Repair bills totaled $1500 for the pair. That makes me very sad. We opted to check out Bowest first. I am so glad we did! Casey is amazing. We were leery of scratch and dent. We want to save money but not have some ugly eyesore in our newish kitchen. She explained why the prices are low. Showed us exactly why each appliance was marked down. She is very knowledgeable! Memorized our current fridge dimensions right away. Showed us every fridge that would fit. She just spewed knowledge. Like this girl knows her stuff! Short version, we bought a beautiful french door Whirlpool for $1700! Regular $2500 woooo. I loves me a good deal. The dents and scratches you ask! ON THE SIDE! Hello. Who cares. Serving spoons don't fit in either the tray above, or the silverware organizer on the base tray. But most annoyingly, it doesn't wash dishes. We've tried every setting, different soaps etc. Called Bowest and was told all purchases are final sale. They suggested we call Frigidair who told me they can service the unit, but will not return it, citing that the service fee for a technician can be paid by credit card if they deem it not covered by the manufactures warranty. I was offered the opportunity to purchase accessories for the dishwasher at the end of my call. Needless to say, we've found another supplier, for our new KitchenAid appliances.

The cabinetry has required multiple rounds of deficiency reporting and attempted corrections. Despite the additional time and opportunities provided to Zen to rectify the issues, we continue to have unresolved deficiencies, including: Sharp and uneven banding on the walnut door trims; Imperfections in the edges of the painted doors; An uneven and defective finish on the replacement vanity drawers, including visible bands of differing sheen; A cracked hallway locker cabinet panel; Damage to the bottom of the hallway locker cabinet; We purchased custom cabinetry with the expectation that the finished product would be professionally manufactured, finished, and delivered in accordance with the specifications agreed upon at the time of purchase, which are now approximately 90 days from the date the order was placed.
