Without this place I would never have known I am Dyslexic, nor how to improve my English and my Maths skills.
Before I changed schools they had dismissed the fact that I am Dyslexic and so it was only until I tried looking into attending private high schools as to how I took a Dyslexia assessment. Then I took one later on here, at this institute in Cardiff.
They helped me aurally get used to the sounds of words and splitting the words up and by saying the vowels and the actual vowel sounds. They put letters and words on the back of picture cards and I had to remember what they meant. One time I also put down all the letters of the alphabet; where each letter was on a piece of card with a picture on and I placed them on a table in the form of a rainbow.
So I do recommend this place for a Dyslexic people and for all those who may think that they are Dyslexic. I really enjoyed my time here... read more
