Based in a scout hut in Pontcanna fields it provides after school facilities until 6pm for children whose parents cannot meet them straight from school. They operate a fleet of mini buses which collect from schools in the Llandaff /Canton/ Pontcanna areas of the city. The staff running the club are very friendly and supervision is of a high standard. The club offers a wide range of arts, crafts, and sporting activities as well as providing a large supply of toys and a pool table. The children are also provided with a snack and drink.

The children bring their own lunch if you opt for all-day but a healthy snack mid-morning and afternoon is provided. They accept childcare vouchers which makes this even better. And the children seem to love it. The staff are very friendly and accommodating (and have an amazing memory for names) and I can only hope they continue until the 8-year old has turned into a teenager.

Having seen first hand just how demanding a toddler can be, I can't express my admiration highly enough for the brave souls who go into full time childcare. His little bundle of joy is always well looked after, and her face lights up when we take her there - in fact, sometimes (despite our best efforts) we get the feeling she has more fun there than anywhere else. Being a working parent can be a tough deal, so knowing your beloved offspring are being well-cared for during office hours is invaluable. You don't just have to take my word for it though - this nursery won the prestigious NDNA (National Day Nurseries Association) Welsh Nursery of the Year 2010 award. Catering from ten-week to five year-olds, the nursery is open to the children Cardiff University staff and students - and I can't recommend it highly enough!

My twins Leo and Lila have been going for a few weeks now . We were apprehensive about leaving…read morethem in a strange place but have been so chuffed with how they are getting on. Leo runs towards the door to get in, and we have to coax Lila out with a treat at the end of the day which I guess is a good sign! It's a brand new place, staff are lovely. Have the peace of mind we were hoping for so highly recommended.
