I worked in one of the offices in this Barry building for about six months before we thankfully secured an office in Cardiff Bay.
It's not the best environment I've worked in, but it's not the worst, either. The somewhat secluded location in Barry leaves a lot to be desired, as the closest sign of life is a Morrison's in one direction about a mile away and a sparse selection of businesses surrounding the Barry Railway Station in the other.
According to the Vale website, the BSC is a new concept providing office and workshop units for new start, rapidly expanding local businesses and inward investors. There are eight workshops of 48 and 97 square metres (523 and 1045 square feet) and 15 offices of 21 and 43 square metres (226 and 463 square feet). On site meeting rooms, a conference room and reception service are available to tenants.
If you don't mind an office on the outskirts of the Big Smoke, then this office will do just fine, as the facilities are fairly new, and once you're in, you have access to the BSC's business support services as well. read more
