I had knucklehead do a few thousand bucks worth of work on my truck in late 2017, and they did a killer job. Had to wait about a week for parts to come in, but once they were in, we set a date and I dropped my truck off in the evening. They had it done the following day when I got off work, as promised. Experience #2 was today. I had a rattle appear on a road trip- TWO different shops on the way home couldn't figure out the problem. Once I got home, called knucklehead and they said to go ahead and drop it off. They found the problem before I even got a ride home, and had it fixed (once again) on time as quoted. Plus, they fixed a leaky gasket while they were my truck was with them. This is the only diesel shop/mechanic I'll take my truck to in the NoVA/DMV area. Highly recommended.

The staff was friendly and easy to work with there were just a few things that were a bit annoying. Communication: I was told the truck was going to be done on Friday, I didn't even get a call to tell me that wasn't going to happen and had to wait until The following week, Monday they still didn't contact me...I called them and found out it wouldn't be until Tuesday. Quality of work: They did an EBPV delete, which with 7.3s requires closing off the sensor (a single resistor) otherwise it will throw a code. They just left my truck with the code, I feel like as they're the professionals this should have been fixed prior to me driving away...just hoping that the CEL isn't for something else. Finally, I got a surprise from them! An extra 4% charge for paying with a credit card...about $50...This wouldn't of been so annoying if they had just told me the actual price, even the receipt shows the lesser amount, I called them back to find out why I had been charged extra and that's when I was informed of the credit card fee.
