Insurance originally inspected the damage and determined it was a builder oversight and nothing they can do. Brandon and Amity took over this project with haste. We had public adjusters, private contractors, and designated teams to fight the insurance company. After a couple of inspections we only got them to cover only 10% of the project. That wasn't good enough for Amity (and us). They fought tooth and nail for over 10 months until we finally got the approval and payment we needed to get this project going and to make sure my family was taken care of. They replaced the entire roof, all the gutters, and renovated the whole garage interior and exterior. It was truly a crazy experience. The roof itself only took a day. The gutters and garage a day as well. Very efficient team from start to finish. We ended up selling the house and moving a few months after the project was finished, but this roof and reno definitely improved the market value of my home. I had a relatively small job for which I needed a mason, but needed this mason to perform detailed…read moreand careful work to fix an issue which my home builder left for me to deal with. This builder was First Texas Homes, by the way. And the home warranty furnished by StrucSure did nothing to help. The firm said, "nope, no problem here!" When clearly you can see the builder screwed up either the foundation forms or when framing the house. The exterior wall brick for one side was completely set OFF of the foundation, so it would be only a matter of time before the brick sagged, cracked, and possibly would bring the whole exterior wall with it. This is what I needed fixed - I needed the mason to remove the existing poor scab work, put in lintels to reinforce the brick wall to the foundation, and do a better scab job to cover the lintels. Eliut's team did a tremendous job. They took their time and made all of the necessary precision cuts to the lintels and cinder blocks to fix this ridiculous issue. When I first called, he responded right away, looked at the issue the next day, understood my main structural concern, texted me all the details, and had his team do the job two days later. I was blown away. He also allowed me to pay with Zelle, which made things super easy. Highly recommended.
