Thank goodness we found this problem before it got worse. With all this rain we had, it showed the discrepancies that could have led to a BIG problem causing our CONCRETE TO CRACK due to there not being proper compaction laid under the concrete at the time of construction. We had our pool built in 2016 . It was beautifully done by Michael Sims of Dynasty Pools and Spa .We are making this review again 8 years later as we were so impressed with Michael's commitment to help us with pool troubles /questions . It doesn't matter if it is the weekend / nights , if we text or call him he will respond right away .Most of our friends whose pool were built by other companies were abandoned by their builders . They've got zero attention from their builders. Michael Sims is a cut above the rest. He continues to help us fix all our pool problems! We had our pool done a few years ago by Dynasty pools and are very happy! The build was quick and efficient. One of my main concerns before building was being able to get to the right depth. My ground was very sandy and I knew that could be a problem. Mike went above and beyond and reached the depth we wanted. I also was very particular about how I wanted my waterfall and he was very good about working with me and letting me have all the say in where I wanted each Rock. Our warranty with him has been phenomenal. I have recommend several friends to him and they are also happy with their build. read more

Greetings, Yelpers ! I contracted with Dynasty Pools in October of 2020 right after the LA Dodgers won the World Series. I note this particularly, for the purpose of a "timeline" of specific events. My wife & I decided it was time to build a backyard swimming pool while living in the Wine Country of San Luis Obispo County, CA. We had contacted NUMEROUS pool builders after Labor Day 2020 in the locale of our home. (COVID -19 PANDEMIC LIMITS & PROTOCOL withstanding) Not ONE pool builder or contractor in our area within a 50 mile radius, could honestly encourage us, and, NOT further support a contractual relationship with us regarding building a pool as far out as 12 to 18 months. (October 2021 to May 2022) I then contacted Dynasty Pools in the Bakerfield area, and, Michael had immediately established with us, a "can-do" business approach to our needs. Within days, he dispatched his professional pool designer to our residence, where he proceeded to plot the strategy & location of our pool, aided by numerous pictures from his drone. Within Days of the pool design, Michael had an incredible construction plan from his designer, then after, we proceeded forward with the contract, a few thou$and dollar$ BELOW BUDGET. Inside this contractual agreement, there were the NORMAL, and, reasonable disclaimers that "could apply" to the "construction" timeline, which Michael verbally advised, due to the prevailing Pandemic issues. As the COVID-19 real-time limits & scenarios played out (without prejudice) the initial "digging" didn't commence until February 2021, along with the installment of the pool pump at that time. To meet the requirements of San Luis Obispo County, a permit delay due to county staffing, then forced a building delay now into late summer 2021. As soon as the building criteria & permits were established, the shot-concrete commenced as soon as the worker/labor shortage started to ebb. The plastering commenced, then was completed this last February 2022. The pool was completed in March 2022, and, we have had nothing but, praise & ENJOYMENT from all of our friends & neighbors who can bear witness to an incredible JOB WELL DONE by Dynasty Pools. Neighbors of ours, in contract with a local county pool builder, are still having completion issues, after, their contract commenced in early 2021, while we have immensely utilized our spectacular pool for 4 months, now. A friend recently was looking for a place for a pool. Told her DO NOT use Dynasty Pools. If you use them BEWARE!!! Michael is a dishonest man and not a man of his word. How can I post review on their website???! Here's what I've previously shared... After calling a few places a few years ago, we selected Dynasty to do our pool. We asked for a volleyball pool n they were making pool too deep in the middle. We requested gradual decline on pool bottom. When my husband told him it was not as requested, we were charged extra to change it. Also, Mike told both my husband n I that if we referred friends we'd get $1,000 for the referral. A friend got a volleyball pool n when she asked for our referral pay, Mike laughed. we never got the money promised. They over charge and lie ... BEWARE!!! read more

The wort experience of our lives. they have been working on our pool for over a year. they have one good review that says it only took 55 days to complete the pool, sadly those 55 days were after they started working on our pool. We've heard every excuse, COVID, crew all in Mexico and the latest is that it's too hot and the guys need a break because they are working a lot. That just tells us that they are working on other pools but not ours. It's time for a lawyer. read more
