This was fun crawling around on the floor and digging through the clothes. I ended up finding two bags worth. I got there about fifteen minutes after they opened. I had been in prior to this sale. I remember they had a lot of smaller sizes and I could not really wear them at that point. The price point is not bad and although it says it is a vintage shop some of the items are newer and not really vintage. I am sure I will stop in again to check them out.

I love Goodwill, I go all the time, but that's because I have the time to go multiple times a week to sort through each and every single row of clothes for the 2-3 gems. Joys of unemployment! Almost every time I go here, I find something I love, only once I didn't (and even at that - found something for my sister). The clerk who's usually there (name has slipped my mind sadly) has also worked in resale of clothing for a while and is very knowledgeable about fashion trends! They won't BS you, either, I said every time I come in I'm looking for turtlenecks on the more masculine size and they straight up told me it's very unlikely I'll find a lot of those because guys don't really wear turtlenecks. I still look because I can pull off women's turtlenecks, but I loved the honesty. Tells me I can ask if something might look ugly on me and I will get an honest answer, which means I can shop alone! First off, you will find a vast and constantly changing selection of antique and vintage home furnishings and decor- cabinets, hutches, shelves, accent tables, kitchen ware, a dizzying array of baskets in all shapes and sizes - which the the kind owners gather as they hunt estate sales, flea markets and the like. Most of these pieces are American made, all are handcrafted and one-of-a-kind. Some will have been lovingly restored by proprietor Damien - who also crafts new pieces and can do so to your specifications! We recently bought a house in the area and are slowly making it our very own. I'm in need of a short shelf/hook rack, which might easily be obtained as a cheap piece of crap from Walmart mass-produced in communist China - or I'll pay a few dollars more and have one handmade right here in Ohio. Take a guess which I've decided on. In addition to wood crafts, proprietress Shannon makes personalized T shirts, coffee mugs and koozies with a great selection of designs to choose from. Still don't see something that grabs you? No worries, bring your own design and she'll make it happen. They say you can't always get what you want but that doesn't seem to apply here! Something here for everyone and great gift ideas too. Any unscheduled closing (doesn't happen often) is posted on their facebook page, so if you're making a special trip might want to check that first- or call.
