This was fun crawling around on the floor and digging through the clothes. I ended up finding two bags worth. I got there about fifteen minutes after they opened. I had been in prior to this sale. I remember they had a lot of smaller sizes and I could not really wear them at that point. The price point is not bad and although it says it is a vintage shop some of the items are newer and not really vintage. I am sure I will stop in again to check them out.

Otherwise, wether you bring in your worn cheapie items or brand new in the box items, they will give you the same amount. The building housing the Antique Mall in "downtown" Union City (Columbia Street) is known as the "old Kirshbaum building." For those who crave a dose of nostalgia, it's like stepping in to a time capsule with the tin ceilings, old glass cases and beautiful wide, carpeted stairway. I most often turn to the Mall when I'm looking for something in particular, for instance, my white 1950s wooden dining room table or skeleton keys I once used to make earrings. However, if I just want to have a good hour of moseying fun, my legs will take me in. The sad thing, in my opinion, is that my neighbors and fellow Union City-ans don't realize how lucky we are to have this beautiful business in our town. I more often hear of people turning to Target and WalMart for their furniture than buying something that not only has character, but is equally as cheap (not to mention the reduce, reuse, recycle aspect;). Grateful to have this charming and beautiful business in my hometown - I highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

I waited about 10 minutes and he showed up. I was interested in an old recipe books for some artwork I was working on. I love old bookstores, especially ones like these where books are just stacked everywhere. I found what I was looking for here and the cost was very reasonable. I went up to pay and he also told me I could pick a bookmark that his girlfriend made to take home with me. Right up my alley. I looked around at some of the other book types and picked up a couple extra books I thought I would like. He definitely had a lot of interesting books, records, posters, etc. Also to note the parking lot that was behind the store had signs that the parking was only for some insurance company and you would be towed, I asked him about it and he said the building used to belong to an insurance company and yes it was the parking for the bookstore. I will be going back to check out other items as I did not have enough time this trip.

An absolutely wonderful hobby shop, and with an incredible and diverse selection! I've been coming…read morehere for years, and it really is one of the best FLGS I've been to. For the staff, it's a family-run business and they're all incredibly nice and personable. It's easy to talk to all of them and they're more than willing to help with special requests and orders. They also offer a 10% in-store credit reward system which is simple and quite generous too! In terms of location, while it's a bit off the beaten path, it's close enough to one of the main streets in tow (and another hobby shop) to not be an issue. Parking can be cramped on busy days, but that's to be expected. As far as product goes, there's a lot! Miniatures in particular are well-represented. All Games Workshop IPs are here (some more than others, but also including some boxsets that aren't available anymore) and they're always getting new product in for pre-orders. While they do sell them at GW retail price, their rewards program has let me get away (more than a few times) with getting a few boxes for free or for more than 50% discount. Dungeons and Dragons + Pathfinder minis are also available, as are Star Wars: Legion, BattleTech, and HeroClix, as well as more niche stuff, like Blood and Plunder. A fair selection for various card games, but also a generous and wide selection of board games as well! Lastly, there is also a selection of paints, primers, brushes, magnets, basing material, and other hobby tools that are readily available. As far as gaming space, the backroom has space to accommodate plenty of people and for different games. Plenty of tables to set up at, and a wide selection of terrain to make use of for wargaming. While I unfortunately cannot comment on the music section of the store, as I have not made use of its services, I can say that the gentleman who runs it is very respectful and helpful. Overall, a very worthwhile visit for hobbyists who want a wide selection of goods to peruse at an honest price from honest staff. This place means a lot to me, if you couldn't tell from the review lol
