What a hidden gem!! This place has an amazing selection with very reasonable prices. This is a family owned shop and has that feel. The owner Miranda was super helpful in answering our questions and has full knowledge of every device. Found these guys on Yelp, they don't have obnoxious billboards all over the tollways but are definitely the best! Our display last night was amazing. No duds, and the neighbors gave several rounds of applause. Great and safe show. Will definitely be back to Dynamite!!! read more

Where you get the most Bang! for your buck! I visited from out of state (California) all the way to Indiana to get some fine fireworks! After watching some product demonstration videos on youtube, I settled on Whack Job .. what a great choice! did NOT dissapoint. Staff was freindly and knowledgeable. If I remember correctly, I even got a bonus or a discount. I did end up going to several fireworks stores to get all that I needed, But I will be returning to Dynamite this July 4th season! read more

My family made a journey out here again having made the trip for a few years now. SERVICE: Excellent The moment we walked in help was offered to guide us towards what we were looking for and also okay with letting us look around in peace. Our experience with the staff was quite friendly. PRICING: Above Average I'm not an expert on pricing ranges for fireworks, but the average review here finds the place moderately priced. The prices seemed reasonable with a lot of room for putting on a budget or extravagant home show. VARIETY: Excellent There was every kind of firework I think I have ever seen available here with a range from safe for little kids to suitable for a city to put on a show. You will find plenty of things to blow up or set on fire here. FACILITY: Average The place is a little cramped based on the above variety. Worth noting was that no installed restroom is available, but a port-a-potty was on site outside. SUMMARY: Above Average We will be back again and I recommend giving them your business too. read more

This business has secured my family's business for LIFE!!! Thanks to RYAN!!! I've never been here before, never even HEARD of this place before today... I wasn't aware fireworks stores are scarcely open after the Fourth, was up a tree looking for fireworks to put the finishing touch on a car reveal for my nephew (who just received a scholarship for Cornell), This guy RYAN answered the phone, told me he would open the store so I could make a purchase?! I apologized in advance because I only needed a few things, only for him to tell me not to worry, and the best he could do was meet me at the store in an hour....WHAT?! Who does that!!! Can't say enough about this guy. SERIOUSLY COOL!!! The reveal went great, but I couldn't help but share this story with the family! read more

Stopped by here a few days before July 4th on my drive from Chicago to Michigan. Super convinient to get to, and the staff was very friendly. Which is awesome, because it showed that they are not one of the 'chain stores' Chris was the guy who helped us out with our questions- and he explained the difference between all of the fireworks to us. Which is awesome, since fireworks are not my forte. It was crazy too- we got our fireworks for super cheap, and they were awesome. Will stop by here again. :) read more

Good fireworks from some good people! Videos of all fireworks they have in inventory is great little perk so your getting a live example of what you'll see instead of seeing some cartoon picture that most have. I always do early bird fireworks stocking before 4th of July. Emailed about the age of their inventory to find out they were in the process of shelving new stock. I know what your saying "oh he full of it just trying to get you there" which was not the case. We arrived today to find a lot of new fireworks on the shelves. This was a definite plus and aided in our early stocking for the 4th. Plan on coming back for those outstanding deals! read more

I was traveling on the toll way and searched for local fireworks shops in route to Chicago. This place was extremely easy to find right off I-90. James helped me out and he was very knowledgeable and polite. It was apparent he enjoyed what he did and this was something I appreciated. The owner was present and he was very helpful as well. The shop appeared to be small at first look, but really the selection was vast. The presentation was very clean, stocked and organized, again I appreciate this. read more

We were in that area and I wanted to check out this place. Why wouldn't I, Dynamite is my nickname ha ha Boom! The place is a small building but they had plenty of parking in the back. As you walk into the store, they had tons of fireworks everywhere. On the right side were individual fireworks to purchase all nicely arranged. And on the left side of the entrance where prepackaged fireworks for the novice so called I dunno what to get, I'm dizzy. It was pretty busy, but the flow of people coming in and out was consistent. Even though the place was small, they were pretty organized in terms of displaying their fireworks for sale and their prices. If you're claustrophobic I would not recommend coming here on a busy day because it can get pretty snug for a bug. If you decide to purchase your fireworks here, they do have a friendly staff to help you. They even have a nice gentleman who was willing to carry your purchases to your car, what service. I recommend using their deal that they have on yelp $30 for $50, it was also nice of the owners to let me use the deal plus getting free bottle rockets when I checked in on yelp. You see what you get when you smile and be polite to people. Over all it was a good experience. I would recommend this place to purchase your fireworks. They even have a nice story about this place as well as a great rating from the Better Business Bureau too. read more

Second year coming here for fireworks. A lot cheaper than Johnny rockets and krazy Kaplan. Smaller variety but they have the good stuff.

Favorite place for fireworks. Our go-to spot every year. Straightforward. No gimmicks. Great people!

These guys were amazing! Was helping us decide on which is the best fireworks for our situation. Would let you look around as much as you like but was also there and available to you when you needed a question answered! I never realized how different fireworks can be! Some even had a video that you could see in case you didn't know how they would look in the air! Will go here for all our fireworks needs in the future!!! read more

They are the best. I keep coming back each year because I love supporting small businesses and this is definitely a family biz. Ive been coming here for years always the best prices and customer service, and closest to chicago. Loyal customer !

Family and I Will be returning to this little spot for all our fireworks needs based on the service alone. The prices are low as well but service and a smile can go a bit father. They don't have buy this and get that free or buy 3 for the price of one, but after doing basic math, the prices are actually cheaper buying a la carte here. The place is small but it's literally stocked to the ceiling. They have a very large selection of every kind of fireworks as well. Will be coming back next year for sure. read more

I came in to Dynamite because of their great reviews and now I can see why they have so many 5 stars. The employees were very helpful and friendly. The prices and selection are great. I have other fireworks stores closer to me but will definitely be back to dynamite. read more

Amazing selections and service!!!! Great experience. Would recommend to everyone!!!!!

This place is great. It's not the typical run-of-the-mill firework store. Family owned. They guys who work there are very knowledgeable and can help you, especially if you are new to buying fireworks. Small space but great selection. Also, I confirmed with a few people that the pricing is great. They don't do the two for one thing but that's just a way to rip you off anyway. Perfectly located, it's right off the freeway and the first thing you see. I will be back next year! read more

Good selection. Friendly service. Convenient location. I would definitely go again. Check them out.

Just stopped by on our way from Chicago to New Carlisle, and loved how great the service was!!!! The owner is so friendly and passionate about his inventory! He even played a video to show you what each fire work does!!! We went in to get a couple of sparklers and left with a bag FULL of all types of fireworks for an incredible price!!!!!! We will defiantly be back!!!!! Easy access back to the highway makes is extra convenient!!!! They are open year round!!! But if he is not there you can just call him to meet you there! read more
