HUGE selection of used motorcycles in all price ranges, and organized so you can easily find and compare different models. What I really loved is that they genuinely seemed passionate about motorcycles and helping me find the right fit. If you're looking for a bike in the Twin Cities, especially if you're newer to riding or want a more chill buying experience, I'd definitely recommend checking them out.

After purchasing the bike we were told it would go through final inspection prior to us picking it up on the 28th. When we got it home the problems started. The bike wouldn't start, clutch issues, windshield not on properly, headlight cover missing, and aftermarket wiring for lights. My husband contacted Steve Bauer who we purchased the bike from who told us we needed to talk to the service department. We contacted Shane in service and told him of the issues and were told to bring it back in. When we took it back Shane he then told us that the bike had never gone through inspection because they were short on tech's. Shane also stated that there is a color system yellow tag goes on every bike with price, green dot on those that have passed inspection and red dot for those that didn't pass inspection. Yellow tag with no dot has never been inspected. We were sold a bike that never went through inspection. We were NEVER informed by Steve Bauer in sales that our bike had never been inspected or looked at prior to purchase. Then Shane told us "sometimes the salesmen forget to mention that". Seems like a big thing to "forget" to mention. Now our bike has been in the shop on "priority" more than it has been in our garage or ridden. When we called to check on the status it still hasn't been looked at because the "tech is out". Priority doesn't mean the same to them obviously. Here we sit watching riding season go by without our bike. We've been told so many things that we no longer trust their word or work. At this point we don't even want this bike. We are requesting our money back or an exchange for another bike that is road ready with no mechanical issues.

I submitted two service schedules with them andboth times only received an automated reply stating someone will reach out. I've waited more than two weeks now with two online service scheduled request and two phone calls (both calls were initiated by my wife and I). Both times on the call was told that someone from the service department will reach out. It's been over 2 weeks. I get that they're backed up but maybe follow through with the phone call? Again, no issues with the people and purchase experience but service department leaves much to be desired. UPDATE: Christian from service department (nice guy) called today 6/5. Will update review again after service is done. Here's my update with the service department. I was sent an itemized repair order of the parts and labor on 6/8 for $584.70. Talked to Christian on the phone and confirmed everything is good per the quote on the same day. I got a phone call today 6/17 saying the bike is ready. But was told it's going to be $700+ (forgot the exact amount). This took me by surprised as it's not what was on the repair order. I asked why is it not the price quoted on my repair order and was told that he'll do some digging and call me back. He calls back a couple hours later and said that it needed a new battery (not sure how a new battery is needed if it's protected inside the bike and it's a brand new bike, was also told they don't know if it's covered by warranty). The updated cost is now around $650. This isn't even the full story. The very initial repair order was over $1000 due to replacing cosmetic items. So I said to only replace/repair what it needs to make the bike run (hence the $584.70 itemized repair order, attached photos). This would have meant that they would have everything inspected, so it's a little suspicious that a week later (today 6/17) I was quoted a higher amount until I refuted the total only for them to come back and say that it needed a new battery (a couple hours later). I'm not going to even argue. I'm just going to pay for the repairs but will make sure that everyone I know should stay away from Cities Edge Motorsports. Way too unprofessional and sketchy practices. It's unfortunate because I liked the sales team. I will take my business somewhere else. NOTE: I have not yet picked up the bike as I wrote this review. Will pick it up tomorrow 6/18. I want to see proof of the old battery.

Ross was working on a bike and said he'd help me out. He determined I had a leak in the tube, which he quickly replaced. He also took the time to tweak my brakes and handle bars. When I offered him my credit card, he kindly said no. I insisted, as he had no idea what a lifesaver he was to me. Again, he said no. I can't thank Ross enough for his kind and generous support in getting this ol' gal back on her bike. Be on the look out for Ross and two other Velofix vans around the lakes area, plus as a bonus they also make house calls!

My bike was repair where I could ride again but it was not the same as before accident. As the weather is starting to be nice out, I took my bike down to ride and the brakes were not very tight and the gears were not shifting smoothly as before. I did a search for bike tune ups near me and Velofix came up on the search again. I was going to take my bike to Nokomis Bike shop but after my husband went to check it out, they have an undetermined time frame of when the bike would be worked on so I decided to schedule an appt with Velofix. Luckily, they had one opening left for Thursday May 20. Prices were comparable to Nokomis Bike Shop for a basic tune up. It was great because Velofix came to my house and worked on the bike right in their mobile van and was done in an hour. Brant was friendly and good to work with. I did my check in and got a surprised check in offer for a free cooling towel with any service but I didn't save the offer and so I'm not able to pull it up again. I told Brant that and he was surprised of the offer and didn't have any cooling towels available. Overall, I would recommend Velofix because of the convenience, pricing and friendly staff.

I purchased the bike on March 5, 2024 with 15,253 miles. Over the next year I added approximately 10,000 miles and kept up with regular maintenance throughout ownership. At the time of purchase, I also bought what is presented as the Harley-Davidson Extended Service Plan (administered by Continental Service Provider), with the understanding that it would provide meaningful coverage in the event of a major mechanical failure. On July 29, I began a trip from Minneapolis to Sturgis. The ride was uneventful through Worthington and Sioux Falls, and I continued west on I-90 at normal highway speeds (80 mph). After roughly 140 additional miles, near Chamberlain, SD, the engine suddenly lost power. A rider behind me observed smoke and flames exiting the exhaust. I immediately shut the engine down and coasted to a stop, at which point the engine had seized and would not restart. Due to the timing during Sturgis Rally, Rapid City Harley-Davidson was unable to take the repair. I incurred over $700 in towing costs, along with approximately $600 in additional travel expenses (rental car, hotel, and return flight). The motorcycle was ultimately returned to Wild Prairie Harley-Davidson in Eden Prairie, MN, where I was informed the failure was due to a blown wrist pin and catastrophic piston damage. I was also told there was no maintenance-related action that would have prevented this failure, and that this type of failure is considered extremely rare. The repair estimate was approximately $11,000, which exceeds the value of the motorcycle. The Harley-Davidson Extended Service Plan only covered up to the market value of the bike (approximately $6,000), leaving a substantial remaining balance. At the time, I still owed approximately $5,000 on the loan. I was offered approximately $3,000 for the motorcycle toward the purchase of a new bike, which would have required rolling negative equity into another loan. While I was told this was essentially a "once in a lifetime" type of failure, my experience was that there was little effort made to stand behind the product or build customer loyalty after the fact. Given that this failure occurred after roughly one year of ownership and consistent maintenance.
