Dear Yelpers, I hope all is well! I'm writing this review because I know how stressful it might be to hire an electrician or any type of professional here in Miami. Why? You're scared of getting scammed, scared they might mess something up that's already existing or scared they might start the job and not finish. Well - Yunior at Dynamic Volt was the complete opposite of everything I described. He was the first one to answer the answer the phone, first one to come out for an assessment, first one to send a quote and he had the best price after competitive shopping. Once the job got started he was very prompt with permits and following up with FPL or city officials which were not as responsive. He was very fast, detailed and knowledgeable with all the work completed. I would definitely recommend him for any type of electrical work you may need done at home or at your job. Good Luck! AC PS - he added a breaker box to the outside side of my house along with a bunch of upgrades to hardware. Maybe even a couple of other things I cant even explain. read more

We lost power to our pool pump/mechanicals and were losing the chemical balance of our water. I called on a Wednesday night around 6:30 PM, Yunior was immediately available and was at our house at 7 AM as promised on time. Had the issue diagnosed quickly - line from main panel to pool equipment was buried in metal pipe 20 years ago and pipe had failed causing a short and the pool control panel was shot. Yunior had a full detailed quote to us in less than an hour. Quote was fair and Yunior was able to schedule a crew to be out the next day at 7 AM. Crew and Yunior showed up early in the morning, crew worked hard and wrapped up by afternoon. Yunior stopped by as they wrapped to ensure we were satisfied and to show me how to set the new mechanical timer in the control panel. Overall would highly highly recommend Yunior and Dynamic Volt. read more

I have been working on a quote with Yunior and want to leave this review based on his excellent response and service. From the beginning, Yunior has demonstrated professionalism, knowledge and just common courtesy. This is extremely hard to find in this industry. Extremely. I have no doubt that his work will be quality work and he will deliver as promised. This has been one of the few contractors that I have encountered that really delivers on high standards. read more

They did the job, but wouldn't use them again. The job was to connect the pool heat pump and the a spa. 1. they didn't connect the second ground. Pool company said it'll void the warranty. 2. They didn't close the cover properly. screws are missing and it's not sealed. Again, the pool company said it'll void the warranty as well. 3. SPA was left connected to the outlet while it has no water. The spa company (hot spring) said that a licensed electrician would know that it'll damage the spa. 4. I got a quote for the pool heat pump, but was trying over and over again to get a quote for the spa with no luck. They just did the job and after the job was done already, they told me the amount ($1,135), which isn't fair as I couldn't make the decision. 5. Communication. Once they got the money, forgot about it. I'm sending messages but no answer. read more

We had scheduled with Junior for him to come and do the job and he never showed up and then stopped picking up the calls! Very unprofessional. My condominium was asking for Certificate of Insurance and maybe he did not have what was needed and instead of communicating clearly he just went dark... I contacted him because of the reviews on Yelp but I guess they are not be trusted. UPDATE: If you want proof of how unprofessional he is just read his lengthy response below. Instead of just apologizing for not showing up on the scheduled appointment without any prior communication to reschedule (he did not send me a single SMS, email or voicemail) he makes ALL kids of excuses. So if you have any issues with him dont expect accountability. Reminds me of the kid in elementary school that used the "The dog ate my homework" excuse. Come on man. The only time you called back was AFTER you read the negative review and AFTER you did NOT show up as planned! read more

Just want to say Yunior and his team are outstanding. We ended up not doing the job on their advice, but they put in a lot of effort in coming over and understanding how expensive the job would be, and carefully explaining why it would be much more expensive that we thought. All at no charge to us. I love that they discouraged us from overspending instead of the opposite. I most appreciate contractors who are honest, reliable and communicate clearly. I would say these guys are all three! read more

Last week our power went out, on a Sunday night in August with a 3 year old and a 9 month pregnant wife in my home. Yunior spent about an hour with me on the phone and texting that night addressing the issue and temporarily restoring our power. He moved around his schedule last minute due to our situation being urgent and had a crew out the next morning to do a complete upgrade of the electric in our home. Thankfully he was familiar with our old 1930's house and its undersized electric system, so with just a few pictures he knew the panels and material needed, and got the job done in a day. He was professional and had an open line of communication whenever I needed him, while his crew was here working and everyone on the job worked efficiently and professionally. The price for the work was very fair especially considering the speed they were able to get it done and the times we are in with labor and parts being so expensive. I will definitely use him again in the future and recommend that you do as well. Thanks Yunior, you really came through for me and my family! read more

Yunior Rojas is an exceptional example of what a human should be. My electric went out suddenly and he came out immediately, diagnosed the problem and found the solution. He went above the call of duty. Tomorrow he and his team will change the electrical panel for a reasonable price. I will never forget his kindness and his professional knowledge. read more

Very impressed with this company.. I had some work done in my home they changed outlets to GFCI. They arrived on time. They did wear masks. They stand behind their work. Excellent service and communication, would definitely hire again. Yunior responded to my initial request within minutes, and he was both friendly and knowledgeable, answering many of my questions over the phone. He was on time for the service appointment, and completed the job with no issues. He was clean and efficient, and kept me appraised of any issues that came up along the way. Very responsive. Yunior came out the next day to provide an estimate with very reasonable pricing. I had some yellowing cans replaced, 3 new pendant lights installed as well as recessed lights installed in 3 bedrooms. I am ecstatic with the results. They competed the work within 2 days and did a beautiful job! I also asked them to make sure the pendants were aligned from an angled ceiling. Very pleased and highly recommend. The crew was very nice and cleaned up afterwards. read more

Had a Tesla wall charger installed. Great service! Quick, reliable. Would highly recommend!

I live in a townhouse condominium ( 14 buildings) and we were looking for a company to install sensors at our lights attached to the buildings, some timers and repair some exposed wires. So I contact Dynamic Volt and I received Yunior reply in a couple hours. He scheduled the visit to the next day and the proposal was at my email box at the end of the day, and after 3 days, the work was done ! In 5 days I was able to receive his call, receive an estimate and had our problem solved. I do want to say that because it is not usual to have such a prompt reply from some contractors . Yunior walked around all the condominium with me and also gave some suggestions. He sent to us a detailed personalized proposal, very easy to understand and clear. Everything was there . Material and scope of the job. Very professional, friendly. I highly recommend this company ! So happy that we found them. Dynamic -volt from now on is our only one electrical, lighting and outlet contractor! Ps: I wish in the future they provide a "maintenance service " like sprinkler repair, pressure washing sidewalks, painting parking spaces and curbs ... read more

Professional, punctual and courteous. The whole team was easy to work with and I would recommend them hands down.

I really liked these guys. Yunior came out and gave me a fair quote for the work, I presented him in the morning and they were able to come back and complete the job the same day in the afternoon. I've been looking along time to find the right electricians and I believe, I have found them. Very Happy with their work!! read more

So my minor problem turned out to a major problem requiring me to replace the entire electrical panel. I'm so glad I found this company. Yunior responded to my inquiries immediately and made an appointment to come out the next day. After diagnosing the issue, he sent his guys over the very next morning to fix it. I am pleased with their fast, affordable, professional service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Thank you Yunior! read more

Very unprofessional. I called on Monday to request a quote and Yunior scheduled an onsite consultation that same Wednesday in which he never showed up. I texted him several times asking him if he was coming but never got an answer from him. I would have appreciated if they had warned that they were not going to make it instead of wasting my time by waiting for them. read more

Thank you for the help. The technician was very helpful and Yunior the owner was very good with communication. Recommended.

Very disappointed, no even answering my phone calls or text messages. Waited for him and turn down other offers because he seem professional but obviously I was wrong. I found another local electrician to do the work. Reporting it to Yelp support now read more

What an amazing job this team did. From responding quickly to the request that our water heater was not working, to diagnosing the issue at hand, and then doing a complete panel repair in a day. The team was ready to go at the time they told us and completed the job in a clean and excellent manner. Look forward to using Dynamic Volt for our next project, outdoor lights. Recommending this company to whoever wants the job done correctly and efficiently. Prices are reasonable. Thank you Yunior for such exceptional work! read more

I contacted Yunior for adding some lighting fixtures and he was responsive initially, even did a live video to show him ceilings and work needed to be done. Sent him the links to fixtures and he said he would provide an estimate, even confirmed the date of install. I was flying in to Miami and needed this work done this day - after our talk he ignored all other texts/emails the rest of the week. Now I am flying in and can't find an electrician to do the work that day. Just common courtesy - even if you can't do the work, just tell the person so they can find someone else. Don't say you will and then just ignore the person, that's just not professional. I would not recommend relying on this company. read more

Owner came by an hour late, he was nice and professional then the next day, promised a technician at 10am. No call / no show. I called and texted for hours - no answer. read more

Great service. Super diligent and quick. The same day that I call the same day that I was visited. Work was done the day that I want it. Great prices. read more

Yunior is the man. He gets (eats, breathes & sleeps) customer service. He is always available by phone or text. He came to our house Friday night at 7 pm to check on the job completed by his team earlier in the morning and told me he had 2 other clients to visit that evening. The man is a hard worker but he gets it. Good work, excellent customer service, good pricing = repeat customers. Highly recommend. Thanks Yunior! read more

Responsible electrical contractor that carries themselves professionally, honest, and timely. Yunior is owner/manager who evaluates conditions and provides proper recommendations based on code and principle. Dynamic Volt raised my weather head, replaced my main meter/disconnect/panel and also ran a new line with shut off to power a mini split. Clean, professional and knowledgeable staff. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Fair quote, effective communication, professionalism, friendliness, I can go on and on about how wonderful my experience was with Yunior. He communicated with me very effectively with prompt responses to my call/text. Not to mention, he did an impeccable job with repairing 4 of the electrical outlets in my condo unit. For the three outlets that needed to be repair, he was done in about 5 minutes, and he told me the other one needed to be replaced. He came by a couple days after my first appointment to replace the last one. I will certainly reach out to him again if I need an electrician in the future. read more

I contacted Dynamic Volt on a Sunday night and we scheduled an appointment for that Monday at 8am. He was on time and very helpful. He looked over everything and gave me an estimate I felt the pricing was good because I had to research the day before online he told me he was able to do the job right away because he had all of the tools with him 30 minutes later my tankless water heater was working perfectly with new wiring. THESE GUYS ROCK! If you need work done, you'll be happy to call these guys!!!!!! No regrets here!!! I had an issue with a light fixture in my living room. We couldn't find the switch to the light socket in my ceiling. When looking on Yelp for an electrician, I initially messaged multiple businesses. However, Yunior from Dynamic Volt was the first to respond to my inquiry and was extremely professional. He offered to come out and see the problem, and told me that was even available that same day! After his visit, he gave me multiple solutions, and offered to come back the same day to do the work. Yet, I didn't feel pressured to make the decision, you know? His costs are very, very reasonable and he was very upfront about the whole thing. Which as a first time homeowner, i was more than pleased with. He left, after which I discussed options with my husband. We both felt like this was the best option. So he came back that afternoon, did the work I initially needed done, and i was so impressed with his professionalism and ethic that i hired him to install and fix two other light fixtures in my home. These guys took their time and made sure it was done right. If you are like me, and have ANY electrical work that needs attention, CALL THESE GUYS. They go above and beyond to make sure the job gets done and gets done right. I even had my power go out during the job and they still kept working and doing their thing. WOW!!!! Thank you Yunior and Marcel!!!!!! read more

Just an update. After I posted my poor review, the owner called me a couple of days later. He said that the disappearance was due to COVID (not him, a family member) and that he is dealing with a lot...BUT "his team is still out working" - he just "isn't able to do paperwork". He said that he would refund the $150 I paid just to get the estimate, in early July, and that he would still send me the estimate. I thanked him and told him that since he was trying to be fair, I would take the review down once he did those things, to be fair on my end. Today is September 6. No refund, no estimate. If his team is still out working, he's making money. He took mine, and I got nothing. And he did say that $150 is nothing to him- well, it's a LOT to me. My review still stands at this point. Definitely don't recommend. read more
