Medical assistant - Felicia made me feel comfortable and at ease during the entire visit. She held my hand and coached me through my wisdom teeth extraction process and aftercare. She's an angel! Dr. Aruri - knowledgeable and pleasant. He explained to me why and how he does things. He showed me my X-ray as he made his recommendation without me asking! (none of my previous dentists did this). He removed two of my upper wisdom teeth at once using local anesthesia without any difficulty. Since I prophylactically took 800 mg ibuprofen before the extraction, I felt pretty comfortable up to 5 hours post procedure. Mild aching here and there x 2 days after but tolerable. First I was told the full mouth X rays are covered by my insurance (they were not). Then the estimate for the root canal and how the amount the insurance would cover was wrong. Then the extraction costs were higher due to difficulty, which it did not seem to be. Finally I paid the bill at the end and put it behind me. Now one year later I receive a text that I owe another $540 and will be sent to collection if not paid. When I asked the reason for the additional cost the answer was not satisfactory. The best part about it all, is the tooth feels loose and I don't feel comfortable using that side. If you know a good dentist please tell me.

After the bridge was put in my mouth it was tight and at first it seemed okay but then after that the first two teeth in front of the bridge went sideways. One of the teeth was a front tooth. This year in May 2024 the first tooth fell out on its own. When that tooth fell out, the front tooth moved back to where it should be. This is how I moved on and was fortunate to find this dentist through my family. He and his staff have been phenomenal in every way possible. I got my implant on 9/10/2024, and I am now on my way. For example, I got a retainer with teeth to use while I heal. One of the teeth fell out while i was sanitizing it last night. I called this office this morning, no problem, had me come in, replaced it with no drama. Looking back I wish I could have found this practice sooner but of course we can only move forward.

Concerned, I booked an emergency appointment (which was incredibly expensive) with Dr. Adrienne Tartagni the following day. The appointment seemed routine; they took X-rays, which I didn't expect to reveal anything alarming since I had seen my own dentist back in my home state less than two months prior for an exam and cleaning, as I don't reside permanently in CT. After reviewing the X-rays, Dr. Tartagni performed a hot and cold test on my tooth and abruptly informed me that I needed a root canal. I was surprised because I didn't feel much during the test and mentioned this to her. Looking back, it seemed like she was either guessing or pushing for unnecessary treatment. After being told I needed a root canal, I was taken to the financial office and given an exorbitant out-of-pocket estimate. The news was especially stressful since I am a college student and my dental coverage is in my home state. Ultimately, I sought a second opinion from my dentist back home, who promptly reassured me that my tooth was perfectly fine and that I had narrowly avoided being taken advantage of. Multiple X-rays confirmed this, and other dentists agreed that no treatment was necessary. This happened about a year ago, and today, my tooth feels completely normal and the strange sensation has disappeared. It even felt better a couple of days after the visit, despite the lady working in the financial office saying that the "pain would likely just get worse" if I didn't go through with the procedure. My dentist back in my home state confirmed it was just sensitivity, which I'm confident he was correct about. I believe Dr. Tartagni and her office should feel ashamed for causing such unnecessary stress. While I understand that medical professionals can make mistakes, the entire experience was incredibly frustrating.
