As a proud member of the We Do Not Care Club (WDNC), I'm voluntarily waiving all personal discretion today in the name of sisterhood. Ladies, please read this and take it to heart. I am lovingly "violating my own HIPAA rights" and sharing something personal because I genuinely wish someone had told me about pelvic floor physical therapy YEARS ago. I've been going to Dynamic Physical Therapy for several months, and I cannot recommend Michelle Sierra and her team highly enough. I've had two children and a hysterectomy, yet somehow no one ever said, "Hey, you know all those muscles down there? You might want to pay attention to those." Pregnancy and childbirth, hysterectomy and other surgeries, menopause and aging can all affect the pelvic floor, contributing to bladder or bowel issues, urgency, pelvic pressure or pain. And this isn't just for women--men can benefit too, particularly after prostate surgery or cancer treatment. For years, many of us assumed these were simply things we had to accept as we got older. Thankfully, we know better now. I'm in my 50s, and while I accept that aging comes with certain indignities, I have absolutely no intention of surrendering to "Poise" or "Depends" without a fight. Michelle and the entire Dynamic team handle a very personal type of therapy with professionalism, compassion, grace and absolutely no judgment. They make something that could feel awkward seem completely normal. If you're experiencing bladder or bowel changes, pelvic pain or pressure, or other symptoms you thought you simply had to live with, please talk with your doctor about whether pelvic floor physical therapy might be appropriate for you. I'd give 10 stars if I could! My daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis late last year, and we were almost certain she'd need a brace by summer. Thanks to the incredible team at Dynamic Physical Therapy, twice-weekly sessions, and the home exercises they taught her, she made amazing progress! From the front desk to the PT assistants and therapists, everyone was kind and very knowledgeable. We are so grateful for the care they gave our daughter. Highly recommend! read more

I would have liked to experience the actual care through the physical therapist however the appointment clerk Olivia was a little difficult when it came to booking the appointment. I never had to contact VA community care if the referral needs an extension due to the lack of availability. I have worked in many hospitals and clinics and we never make patients do the administrative legwork. Please train Olivia on proper protocol. As for me, I would have liked to experience how amazing this facility was but now I would rather go somewhere else. read more

I think many people may be skeptical of physical therapy. You won't be after a few sessions here. My main guy is Johnathan. He asks the right questions and really gets to the bottom of what's ailing you. For me, it's my back. I feel that I'm getting better with each session. BTW, they will work you out! I leave there sweating each time. I go twice weekly and do the exercises that they gave me every day. I highly recommend DPT. read more

I consulted with a doctor a few years ago to discuss some (ahem) personal issues I was experiencing. He presented me with two options: 1) prescription medication (which I found ineffective) and 2) surgery (which I was not *quite* ready to consider). Apparently pelvic floor physical therapy is one of those deeply held secrets - but seriously, word needs to get out. Awkward? Maybe a bit initially, but I got over that quickly. Educational? Yes! Effective? Very. Just for women? No. (Just thought I'd mention that.) Thank you, Michelle, Tiffany and your entire team at Dynamic Physical Therapy Women's Health in Covington for your professionalism, expertise and for creating a friendly, caring atmosphere. The therapist was great but the front desk and management staff not so much. I've been coming here for the past month, last week I had my son in an accident and had to miss my appointment while in the hospital with him getting stitches and MRIs etc. I spoke to the staff at the front desk while at the hospital, while explaining my situation and letting them know I wasn't coming the girl who was on the line was laughing. Today I called the office again because I was billed $50 for a cancellation and hoped they would waive the fee, the manager herself told me "sorry, this is how we can keep this business going. There a lot of people who are very sick who come here and sometimes don't show up either." Two weeks ago they were 15 minutes late "due to a scheduling confusion" for my session and yet I was very patient and understanding, come this week I was not given the same courtesy. $50 might not seem like much to most but for a single income military family it can certainly make a difference. read more

I was referred to DPT by my physician--so glad I was sent here! They make you feel like you are the most important patient toe ver walk through the door. I saw several therapists depending on what day I went--all were great but special shout out to Sarah P: on top of knowing her stuff she will make you feel comfortable discussing even your most closeted health concerns. The facilities are clean, modern, and comfortable and the entire staff-- receptionist, techs, and therapists--are great. I will ask to be referred here next time I need any sort of PT. read more

Amazing company and I cannot say enough good things about my therapist Cathy-Anne. I went in for women's physical therapy and while that might sound scary it was a fantastic, calming experience for the three months (twice weekly) I went. I highly recommend this therapy center for any of your needs and can personally recommend the pelvic floor therapy as necessary and also effective. We also worked on my lower back and abdominal scarring from a traumatic surgery and I have improved to the point that I was free of pain for the first time in a long time. read more

Laura Anne was a wonderful and knowledgable therapist. I was not a text book case and she had to really think outside the box to help me gain the strength and balance I needed in order to get better. I'm a 74 year old male with a worn out left shoulder. Surgeons told me that my only option was shoulder replacement. I was led to Dynamic Physical Therapy by my family doctor to see if they could help and WOW was that the right decision. Dr Scott Newton set up an exercise program that has resulted in more mobility, less pain and increased strength. I'm delighted with the results of their treatment.
