Burleson T-Shirt Company

Burleson T-Shirt Company

My sons baseball team ordered their jerseys and caps with Burleson T Shirt Company this year and…read morethis was by far the best experience. We gave them the logo and names and after working with us and sending us proofs, every jersey came out perfect....just like we expected. They are very knowledgeable and confident in their work, very easy and accommodating to our wishes. They made the parents shirts to match our players and caps for the dads. We will definantly be using them for future work! Thanks Bryan and Kim for going the extra mile for our boys....and us parents looked just as awesome!!

After almost 10 years of screen printing shirts with Kim and Bryan, our church unveiled a new logo…read moreand needed new shirts. Our new logo had ten colors in a monochromatic design. I contacted Kim and requested we use something different than screen printing this time and we both agreed (in writing, even) to go with Direct to Garment printing. We had an employee visit their shop and look at one and all agreed this was what we wanted. We even got a quote sent to us (on our invoice) for this process. To my surprise, once we picked up the shirts - all 250 shirts were -- screen printed. Ugh!! When I spoke to them about it, I was told by Kim that screen printing was better in their opinion and that Bryan would call me back..I waited and waited. After no call back for two days, I finally emailed them that we would like to bring the shirts back for a full refund and although we would miss our event deadline with the shirts, we would start over with a different company. Within hours, Bryan called me back and left a message telling me this wasn't a big deal and we could work it out. I was hopeful...after all their website does say they will do anything to make the customer fully satisfied! However, once I got in touch with him, his tone was different. We got all kinds of excuses and arguments about how they were right to change our agreement. You could even hear Kim in the background feeding some lines. A couple of reasons were just straight up lies. Not one of them made any sense. After addressing all points, I thought we were in a great position. Our church decided to ask for a full refund and return the shirts to them. We were told this would not be allowed. "Simply put, we did a great job screen printing and you will not be getting your money back." We reminded them that this was not our money but the people who belonged to the church. We shared the concerns that the final product didn't fully represent the logo design we gave them -there were colors that don't belong in it. We even told them that we had full documentation on our conversations for this transaction. Didn't make one difference. This argument reminded me of a person ordering a burger at a restaurant and getting chicken wings instead but since they were good wings, the customer was going to have to eat those. Bottom line, they refused our request for a full refund. We were stuck with the shirts they printed. After a morning of phone calls back and forth, they finally agreed to give us 50% back and thought that would make everything okay - this was all their terms to make and we would have to take what they would give. (This is were I finally **sighed**) I realized this was not an information issue - but rather an integrity problem. This is not good business. I tried one last customer technique - I mentioned the negative review this would cause but it didn't make a difference. They simply didn't think it mattered. Maybe it doesn't, but I'm going to leave one anyway. If it happened on an order like ours and they simply get away with it then the chances of a repeat are higher in the future of it happening again to you. Consider this a warning to anyone considering doing the same thing with this company. Kim and Bryan got greedy and we got burned. Best we can do is not put ourselves in that situation again ...and go home and teach my own kids what not to do when they become adults.
