It was delivered to our reception area without any bubble wrap or protective packaging and by the time it was delivered up to my office it was already beaten up. Granted, this was partly due to being on the mail rack with other packages, but any frame of this size should have come protected. Common sense tells you something going to a corporate office is likely going to be handled by the mailroom. Even worse was the framing job. The jersey was completely wrinkled and off-center. Completely unprofessional framing job. House of Frames took back the frame, but then refused to fix it or provide a credit. There are far too many professional frame shops in the area to conduct business in this manner.

Again, you will have to wade through the ugly stuff to find it. The store is usually very organized with everything hanging around the store. The middle is dedicated to purses and bags. Usually around the holidays they have great sales. I tell people it is the poor mans Sam Moon (which is cheap usually too- but the things here cost even less). They do have a section up front of the "more expensive" jewelry that ranges from $2.00-$10.00, but 95% of the store is $1.00. For a necklace that I will wear a few times, that is a deal to me. Their things are very similar to what is sold in stores today (in fact, one of the things I found last summer was found at a department store for over 10 times what I originally paid!). The only think that keeps it from a 5 star place is that some of their necklaces really scratch my neck (from the cheap way they are put together) and most break really easily, but I have gotten to be a pro at patching them back together. On my most recent trip in, I was looking for a new cowboy hat. One of mine blew off and got stepped on by Wyatt. It left an unsightly dent on the front of the brim. The sales lady asked if I had the hat saying she might be able to reshape it.... In a manner of 5 minutes, she had it reshaped and looking almost as good as new! Even better, when I asked her how much for fixing my hat? Her reply was "Free!" It's a service they supply when you purchase hats there! What a great value!! Still following COVID guidelines we were able to do everything remotely as far as payment & picked up keys there onsite. We stored our house for a month while we transitioned from out of state back to our home town and to a new rental home. The unit was clean, the gentleman I talked to was super kind and easy to communicate with. If/when we get a house of our own, we will definitely consider them again for our transition and storage needs.

We went out there to look at veils and found that the bridesmaid dresses we wanted were about $30 cheaper than we found in Addison so we decided to go with Emma's. WORST MISTAKE EVER!!! Of 5 of the dresses ordered all except for 1 were anywhere from 4-8 dress sizes larger than what they should have been AND they came in in the wrong color. After bringing it to the shop owner's attention we were told that they had to be ordered that large because "the lining is much tighter throughout" and "there was no way we ordered a different color". We took our dresses because they were in and we had all either paid in full at the time it was ordered or paid half. After everything our alterations ended up costing more than what we paid for the dresses. You would think that was bad enough, but no. Once we were told that the veil was ready I authorized payment (including extra for shipping) and gave them a shipping address. A week later I called to check status of my shipment as I was concerned that I had yet to receive it and I came to find out that "the owner thought one of the assistants shipped it and vise versa". The only thing they did to correct it was to overnight it to me "at no extra charge". Save yourself the hassle and pay the few extra bucks and go where you've had or know someone who's had a great experience!!!

The dress I actually ordered was not even out yet (I had to order in November and it was a Spring 2012 style), but they were very helpful in putting me in a couple of dresses that had a similar style and fabric. They were honestly the only store that put me at ease in ordering a dress that I could not physically try on. I mainly worked with Melissa, but the owner is also really sweet and they did everything they could to help me out! Mary is the alteration's lady they used and she did a great job on my gown. She is really sweet and listened to what I wanted, my dress came out perfect thanks to her! They're atmosphere is pretty laid back. They don't require appointments and they even made accommodations for me to come in when the store was technically closed. I really enjoyed my experience with them and if they had the color for the bridesmaids dresses I was looking for I definitely would have ordered through them!
