I was traveling and needed a place to workout. This is a really nice gym. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The gym is very clean and well maintained. There are lifting platforms, benches, heavy dumbbells, and a vast assortment of machines. There is even a punching bag if you need to get in touch with your inner Rocky. I highly recommend this gym and if I should come to the area in the future, I will most definitely be visiting this gym once again. read more

If you want access to plenty of weights, bars, dumbbells, two turf areas, machines (love all the leg options), lifting platforms, power plate (for recovery), stairs and other cardio equipment, hydro massage beds, super hot sauna and you don't want to pay much - go here! It's also open 24 hours with a huge parking lot and very convenient location and there are tons of classes available (I've only tried Zumba once) You can figure out anything bad yourself and see if the good outweighs the bad. :) For me it's worth it, so I give it 5 stars. read more

It's not Lifetime or LA Fitness, but neither is the price tag. Out of all the gyms I have visited, this one has the best value for its membership price by a long shot. If you're a fellow weightlifter like me or someone looking to get in shape without needing the flashy extras, this is the ideal place for you. Not to say that Dynamic Fitness doesn't have its share of secondary amenities for a premium (e.g. fit classes, HydroMassage chairs, etc), but the basic annual plan provides all the necessary free weights and machines to get the job done. There are also cleaning wipe stations everywhere, and the bathroom only needs minor touch ups. As with most public gyms during 5-8pm, the question is not whether the bench press is available but rather, how long the wait time will be before it's your turn. The same goes for squat racks, leg press, and other commonly used equipment. I've never found the wait unbearably long; I usually keep an eye out while performing a different exercise nearby, and then quickly head over after I see someone finish. In the case of the squat rack (I'm adamant about starting off my leg day with squats), one usually frees up by the time I finish my warm up stretches. Additionally, this gym is always open. Entering after employee hours is simple -- the entrance can be unlocked from your phone via the Alta Open app. 24 Hour Fitness, the only somewhat comparable price competitor nearby, ironically closes at midnight from M-Th, 9PM on F, and 8PM on weekends. Dynamic Fitness is the only membership I've ever paid for in Pearland. It fit its purpose for me back in high school 8 years ago, and I've seen them accommodate their growing customer base with more equipment availability throughout the years. read more

There are WAY too many members for the size facility. The price is cheap thus the number of people. A solid 30 to 45 minute workout will take anywhere from an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes and sometimes longer and this is anytime not just the 3-7 rush hour. Between the number of people and the people sitting on equipment doing thumbs day on their phone ( that they don't enforce) you cannot get a workout in. read more

If you're thinking about signing up at Dynamic Fitness Pearland don't. Save yourself the frustration, wasted money, and headaches. At first glance, the gym looks decent: the lighting is good, and there's a variety of machines. But once you become a member, you'll quickly realize the truth machines are CONSTANTLY broken. The hamstring curl, hip abductor, and leg extension might as well be decorative pieces, because there's almost always an "out of order" sign slapped on them. For a place that happily takes monthly dues, they clearly don't invest in maintaining or repairing their equipment. But the real nightmare isn't the broken machines; it's the people running this place. The general staff has a few bright spots (some employees are polite and professional), but the management and ownership are an absolute disgrace. The general manager at Pearland and the OWNER of the entire franchise, JARED WILLIAMS, have given me the worst customer service I've ever experienced in ANY business. They are rude, condescending, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Their tone when speaking to members is not just disrespectful it's insulting. They act like they're above the customers who literally keep their business alive. I've personally had negative interactions with both, and it's clear they lack even the most basic understanding of customer service. Instead of addressing concerns, they talk down to you, brush you off, or act irritated that you even dared to speak up. It's shocking behavior for people in charge of a business, and it shows how little they actually care about their members. This place has so much potential the space is big, the layout is solid, but the environment is completely ruined by toxic, careless leadership. The only reason I'm still here is because Pearland has so few gym options besides Planet Fitness. The second a new gym opens in the area, I'll be gone immediately, and I hope this entire franchise gets the wake-up call it desperately needs. Bottom line: DO NOT join this gym. If you use a gym, you already know it's already a difficult sell to get an average rating, let a lone a good one. Unless you pay $$$$ for something fancy. Let's be honest, I'm not paying buku bucks to sweat on a nice floor, and I don't utilize any of the other amenities, if they even exist. That said, in this context 3 star is a great rating for a decent gym. I have previously belonged to 24 hr, and LA Fitness. I toured Planet Fitness and another local gym, and finally took a referral to come check this one out. Let me tell you why I like it first, and then provide some room for thought if mgmt ever reads this. The Good - Like Katz's, it never closes. They don't staff in the evenings, but you do have an app to let you in. Work out at your own risk. They've also been cracking down on folks trying to sneak in. I dig it. I generally don't have to wait for things, which is nice. And from what my friend tells me, when you go during the day definitely impacts the crowd levels. Like any gym, some clean up after themselves, and many do not. But they do have cleaning wipes available throughout, and they generally are full. The staff at the front desk usually say hello, but that's about the most interaction I have with them, or anyone at the gym. I've been for a year, and haven't had a single conversation with anyone, which suits my introverted behind just fine. It's relatively clean around the gym, so yay for that. They offer group work sessions similar to boot camps, personal trainers, and they have various classes throughout the week that seem very well attended. The needs work category: - Bathrooms. This is every gym, but it should always be remembered. - The length of time to fix machine. I know there's external factors at play, but a month is too much, let alone multiple months. - STOP moving the mats to different areas! I use them. Thanks. They had a nice enrollment offer, the facility looks great, and the staff is helpful. However, prepare yourself for a lifetime membership because they make cancelling incredibly difficult. Starting with a difficult-to-navigate "800" number, less than helpful phone representative, the requirement of a written notice of cancellation, AND, even after all of that, they still charge for at least 30 days afterwards with no chance of a refund. read more

i don't know why this place has such terrible reviews. i join in aug 2023. it's been fine for me! clean and all equipments plus floorings are updated regularly. women locker room is always clean and stocked. plenty of parking space outside tho it's typically busy mornings and after 3 pm. i enjoy the fitness classes esp with ashley and Melissa for zumba and hip hop. i wish more earlier zumba classes bc i have a baby who needs to be in bed by 8:30 pm. i can't attend any classes past 6:30. i love that there's a kid zone so i can bring my little one. everyone is super nice and friendly. i've never had any issues that needed addressing. read more

You're going to have crybabies all over the place no matter the gym you go too. People complaining about customers and people complaining about equipments. Saying things like (oh, the restrooms are dirty ) like really you came to the gym for the restrooms lol. My advice is show up, stop crying and get your workout in,and go home. I lost 57 pounds using this gym going in the mornings and I've also went at night. Overall, I love this gym. The people that complain are probably fat or lazy Just saying. Ps. I would definitely read other reviews to get an idea of their financial practices. There's quite a bit on here and google so I don't need to repeat the same thing but I can say it's happened to me as well. As for the actual gym, it's overcrowded on peak times. There is a lack of maintenance in the restrooms as well as on their exercise machines. Yet if you're in the area and you can overlook all these things. Then the gym is okay for what it is. If I could give ZERO stars I would! I'm not a fan of giving negative reviews, but Dynamic has been one of my biggest headaches this year. I've been a member to many gyms, such as Fitness Connection, 24 Hour Fitness, Blast and a few others. Sadly, Dynamic has been a nightmare. I decided to purchase a membership & personal training in December of 2019. My first trainer quit, so I was assigned to another one. A week or so later the 2nd trainer quit & AGAIN I was assigned to a 3rd trainer. After my sessions I decided to cancel my personal training & membership for two reasons: moving & the desire to be a member of a better gym. In March I sent an email to the gym & operations manager. The GM informed me that he cancelled my training & membership, however, that was a lie! ABC Financial called my phone many times & sent letters. I had to contact my bank to stop payments. I called & emailed on July 27 & even with solid proof they refuse to cancel my membership. I was told that if I don't make a payment soon they will send it to collections. I will never recommend this gym or step foot in it again. read more

Highly recommend this gym if you are on a budget! It's free after 10p so you actually don't need a membership. All you have to do is walk in right after someone opens the door and you are in! There is literally no one stopping you. There really wasn't a reason for me paying for my monthly membership if I knew that it was an option to workout for free at night. This gym is very eco-friendly, as there is never any paper towels filled up in the bathroom. Or anywhere for that matter. In fact, Dynamic Fitness does like to air dry any water spills. Especially the ones that happen on the deadlift platforms, which can also ruin it and cost thousands, but they are apparently very profitable with all the money that they save. One thing that Dynamic truly excel in, is customer service. They already have the weights preloaded onto the machines you want to use. For an example, they graciously loaded 315lbs on a benchmark for me before I even hopped on. Although I still needed to warm up, it's okay. It's the thought that matters. Also, half the machines are always broken. It might be worth the $10/month but I don't believe it is for me and unfortunately I'm in a year long contract for $35/month. read more

This gym is filthy and it keeps getting worse. I come here early in the morning around 5am and they do not have anyone working. They need to have someone this early because it's busy. This employee needs to start to clean at this time and put weights away. At 5am there's garbage everywhere, and there's no disinfectant wipes. No one here has any gym etiquette, people will collect a bunch of dumbbells and keep them by them to do their workout, but won't put them away. People will put 315lbs on a bench and when there done won't break it down and the same will go for the squat racks and any other piece of equipment. If they had someone working this person could put the weights away pick up garbage and enforce members to re rack their weights. The bathrooms are even worse! They regularly don't have soap and have toilet paper thrown all over the floor. On Tuesday someone threw up all over the urinal and didn't clean it and left it. Today Wednesday someone used the toilet and missed the toilet and it was all over the seat. In both of these incidents these stayed this way for hours until someone came in to work. I have included pictures. If they had someone working and enforcing the rules this early, people would not do these things. I can't wait to find another gym. read more

We've been putting off going to a gym, especially after having 3 little kids. The Kidzone staff are so caring and accommodating. It's nice to have the same staff there for kiddos to see a friendly face. We also weren't expecting to sign up for personal training (additional cost on top of membership) though once we talked to our personal trainer Jake, he just made a lot of sense. I actually was talking to another personal trainer before him, but was not entirely convinced. Fortunately Hubby was paired Jake and we both chose to train with him. Hubby is more experienced with understanding overall fitness and exercises and I have none beside the occasional yoga. Jake has really given us both a great start and foundation for us our fitness goals. He's extremely hardworking, considerate and genuine. I'm sure Hubby would also agree that we would highly recommend Jake as anyone's personal trainer; from beginner to expert, youthful and wise. Please give this man a raise or better yet a higher position where he can train others on how to be great personal trainers. It would be truly terrible to lose talent like that. read more

I wanted to look into joining a gym. After a couple months in the neighborhood gym, I realized I wouldn't be able to achieve my goals with the limited amount of equipment. The first time I came in Jacob gave me a tour of the place. He asked me a lot of questions about my goals and gave me some helpful tips. I wanted to think about it for a little bit before I committed. I came back a few days later. I asked a few more questions. I left...and of course came back the next week again. Jacob never got annoyed with my indecisiveness. I appreciate that. Sometimes you feel pressure, but not once did I feel that way. The third time I came in I decided to join. Once I got started, I realized there was a lot of equipment that I was unfamiliar with. I got a text message from Dynamic Fitness that asked me if I needed any help. I think it was part of joining the gym ap. The ap allows you to check in with a barcode on your phone. It makes it super easy. No need for another tag on my key chain! I responded to the text with a simple, "GET YUGE!" I then got a call from Mic. He is an intro guide or manager. I told him that I planned to do a day of push muscles, a leg day, and a day of pull muscles...followed by a rest day...then repeat. Mic first took my weight and measurements to get a good baseline. That was pretty cool. That way I will have concrete evidence that my hard work is paying off. Next, he took me through a complete push muscle workout. Turns out I was not doing enough reps to get YUGE. The next day I came in and Mic gave me a complete 3 day workout plan. It listed the reps and sets for each machine. Since I was unfamiliar with the equipment, it was a YUGE HELP! I have been a member of many gyms in the past 20 years I have been working out. This gym is BY FAR the BEST GYM. The tall white ginger guy with glasses working the front desk is very unprofessional. I walked in with my boyfriend coming from another locating trying to use the guest pass at this location. The first words from his mouth to my boyfriend were "you know you can only use that on the weekends right." He didn't acknowledge us at first, greet us or said hello when we walked in but felt the need to speak condescendingly. Hidden fees. I was told that I would only be charged and initiation fee & my monthly membership fee but then get charged the initiation fee twice. When I spoke with the GM, he acted like he had no idea what I was talking about and tried to show me that they didn't charge me twice. Then when I showed my bank statement, they already had some contract pulled up to show me where that fee was hidden, which was never disclosed to me before then. "It is a fee that is charged to everyone once a year." Yeah right. I bet that "fee" is intentionally the same amount as the initiation fee to be easily over looked and not asked about. Lastly, all the machines are broken and doesn't seem to be addressed since I've joined. Avoid this place. read more

been going to dynamic fitness for 2+ years mainly because the only other options are 24 hour fitness and it's the dirtiest gym in Pearland. dynamic isnt great by any means but they do have a plethora of equipment and amenities my review today is because they lost their best employee (Hollywood). the trainers here are horrible with 1 exception and the GM could care less about the members based on what we can see. since Hollywood left the front desk doesn't greet anyone, there in their cellphones, paying no attention to members at all. Hollywood was the heart and soul for this gym and it's a very very different atmosphere since he's left. This is clear proof that this companies only cares about profits versus having a high quality gym. I am an out of Towner and avid gym goer. With that said, I was very pleased with the equipment especially the multitude of squat racks. The gym was very clean and well maintained. I honestly don't understand the other reviews. Im from Miami and this was a breathe of fresh air from the usual clutter (weights everywhere and miss placed) of a gym I've been to. Everything at Dynamic Fitness was tidy and in its place. On top of that the front desk was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Definitely deserves a 5 star from me.
