I had called to schedule my appointment and scheduled it for 8:45 am, they told me to arrive 15 mins early for paperwork (standard, no prob). I received a notification late Friday evening saying my appointment was scheduled for 9 am. I was already confused on the different time, so I showed up at 8:35, i filled out the paperwork, then waited, and waited and waited. At 9:18 I was taken back by a chiropractic assistant to go into this office that I was instructed to watch a 7 minute video. It was a waste of time! Then when the video was done, I waited and waited and waited. I finally went back and the doctor and I talked about pains and he said he wanted me to do xrays, no prob as I know this is normal for chiropractors. But there was SO MUCH time I was just sitting by myself waiting. I thought a new patient appointment would be efficient and make me feel like I am cared about but all the excess time spent waiting I was just glad the appointment was free. I am definitely not going to continue care with them based on the experience I had.

Within the next couple of days, my symptoms returned and I lost sensation again. I went back and explained what had happened, but the additional side-posture adjustments did not help. I gave treatment two more chances and experienced no improvement. My biggest concern was that after my condition worsened, I did not feel that the office addressed the issue in a way that helped me. I left feeling disappointed, unheard, and without answers. This is my honest experience. I did not get the outcome I was seeking, and I would not return.

When I moved to Chanhassen and found Dr. Mike, I started a new journey--not hard to do with a new doctor who inspires confidence and determination, one who listens and shows compassion. By the time I met Dr. Mike, a pinched nerve in my neck (which radiated to my shoulders, arms, and hands) was the most troublesome--I had an MRI in 2021 and two spinal injections the following year, neither of which lasted for more than a week. I'd worked with a physical therapist off and on in 2022-23, which eventually exacerbated the pain that would not allow me to lie down, the pain that kept me from most needed sleep. I even went to an MD pain specialist and three energy healers without success. Nothing had worked. And then Dr. Mike introduced me to the StemWave. Did I want to try it? Her first few visits to Dr. Kennedy I went with her and Dr. Kennedy was happy to let me come into the examining/adjusting room with my wife. At the time she was not thinking clearly and I wanted to make sure Dr.Kennedy was aware of all of her issues. In addition to his excellent adjusting skills Dr. Kennedy also uses lasers to help with a wide variety of issues. Both my wife and I have benefited from the laser treatments. After a few visits with my wife to see Dr. Kennedy, I made the choice to also become his patient. It was a difficult choice since I had been seeing my former chiropractor for over 10 years! He's not pushy when scheduling new appointments, where I feel very comfortable telling him what I want for ongoing adjustments. He in fact promotes rehabilitation so you're not dependent on the chiro. He taught me several stretches to do regularly to help keep my spine moving freely and the inflammation away.
