I just bought a new (to me) car & wanted tinting since summer is approaching & I was already feeling the heat. I stopped by another 5* rated shop, but they couldn't get to me today. I then went to Dynamic & they were able to do the tinting immediately, even though it made them stay a half hour after closing time. It only took about an hour to do the 4 side windows, & it was less than half the price the other shop quoted for a similar product, their top of the line. Nightmare experience - would avoid entirely. I took two cars to Tim and his team because his shop is marketed as "Fine Reconditioning". So in addition to detailing and polishing, I needed some paint touch up, paintless dent repair, the wheels refinished on one car, and similar items. We were going out of town for an entire week, so I figured that was perfect - could drop both cars off and leave them with plenty of time. To ensure everything went smoothly, I took both cars down for a thorough pre-drop discussion and so the team could look both cars over and ensure there were no surprises. This went smoothly and on multiple times I confirmed they could do the work in a week while we were gone - these were our daily drivers, so we needed them for commuting to/from work. To the shop's credit, they arranged for a Saturday drop off and pick up, even though they are normally M-F only. But I imagine a lot of customers need this. So we drop both cars on a Saturday. Most of the next week goes by with no updates. So Thurs the following week I text them. Fri morning I get a reply saying "So just confirming we are doing a Stage 1 polishing on the wife's car?" Uh oh - this told me the car had been there a week and they hadn't even started on it! But this was only the first of a long list of terrible experiences. Next Saturday comes and we fly back home, drop our luggage at home, and head to pick up our cars. We get there and my wife's car looks fine - except for the wheels... Turns out not only did they not start on the polishing until Thursday, it looks like they didn't paint the wheels early enough either b/c the paint was so soft, one wheel was severely damaged by the tire balance machine. They apologized, but charged us for the work anyway. They said they'd make it right so we went with it. But that wasn't the only wheel issue...more on THAT below. My car was a different story. Without explanation, they told me that because they painted the front bumper (which was totally discussed ahead of time), it needed to dry/cure for several more days before they could apply the clear protection film. Now remember - we discussed all the work ahead of time, asked multiple times if a week was enough, and they said no problem. They gave me a loaner car to drive, and I wanted my car to look really nice so I agreed. In hindsight, I should have asked to see the car and whatever work had done so far, but it was late and tired from traveling...that was another mistake. Worse - it's a holiday weekend so I'm without my normal car for a nice long weekend. Oh well... About a week later I went to wash my wife's car for the first time since getting it back. I detailed the wheels including the inner barrels. Her wheels are a fairly "open" design so cleaning the inside is nice. But when I did so, I noticed not one of the four wheels had any balancing weights on them. WTH?!? I call the shop. "Uh yeah - well, when we damaged the soft paint, we figured it if we put the weights on it might pull the paint off next time." I asked why on earth they didn't tell me about this a week ago when we picked the car up? They were clueless - leaving my wife to wonder why her car was shaking while driving down the highway. Well - after two weeks of driving the shop's loaner car with zero follow up from them, I decided to just pop in and see how my car was doing. I arrived on a Tuesday, 3 1/2 weeks after first dropping the car off. The car was out of the paint booth area and in the main detailing area. The front bumper and hood had been painted, but both had numerous paint issues. There were noticeable sanding marks around items like the headlight washer squirters and the edges of the hood where the seams meet the side body panels, had little to no paint! Worse - these edges were clearly visible by anyone standing next to the car. It's not like this was a hidden edge. It was right on top of the hood. The back edge of the hood was worse - and it was directly in the driver's line of sight. So you'd be looking at that sub-par paint job EVERY TIME you drove the car. I pointed this out to Tim (the owner) and he agreed. Then he says they'll repaint the hood so it's done right - which means another week or so in his shop (since they can't do the clear film until the paint is dry and cured). At this point I'm ready to skip the film and just get my car back. I tell him let's touch base in a couple of days. I'm out of space here, but spent $6000 here and terribly disappointed. Zero follow up even after going back many times. Will seek a refund. read more

A couple Saturdays ago I picked up a beautiful new Lexus IS350 F-Sport from the dealership and headed straight over to Dynamic Autoworks, because I want to keep my baby looking beautiful for a while. Based on my experience with my last car, an IS250 also bought brand new. I didn't expect to keep my old car as long as I did, but Lexus/Toyota makes very reliable cars and I ended up keeping it almost nine years even without some options I really wanted (HIDs, Nav, etc), my first Lexi is still in the family though, it still has many good years ahead so my mom is behind the wheel now. But onto my new car, it fits me perfectly and has every option I want so it'll prob be with me for the next decade and I wanted to make sure it looks good for all of it. At Dynamic Autoworks I received a new car detail/paint correction, Opti-Coat Pro, Xpel clear bra, and tint. A little more about the benefits of each and why I opted for it: 1. New car detail with paint correction - cleans every nook and cranny, protectant applied to interior leather and fabrics, coating applied to the glass outside so rain water gets blown right off. Also buffs out all the scratches and swirls the car picks up between the factory paint booth and when I picked up the car, this is important before the opti coat is applied because I wanted the paint to be perfect before the opti coat sealed it in permanently. 2. Opti Coat Pro - I will never have to wax this car! All you car buffs know how much of a pain wax application and buffing can be, and when done monthly as needed the amount of time spent keeping your car looking good will add up, so to me this was worth the cost in return for the time. Opti Coat acts as a permanent wax and second clear coat on the car so dirt and grime doesn't bond to the paint, and a simple wash w/o wax is all that is needed! 3. Xpel clear bra - in my previous car 90% of damage to the paint was on the front bumper from rocks, bugs, and various debris hitting the car at speed. I got a clear vinyl applied to the front bumper and the first 24 inches of hood and fender, headlights, rear view mirrors, and door handle cups. It is barely noticeable and is prob the most important thing to keeping the car looking good long term. 4. Tint - the fancy metal hybrid kind with metal in it to better reflect the punishing Texas heat, and help prevent getting a farmer tan on my left arm. The guys at Dynamic Autoworks needed 5 full days to do everything which was hard when I just bought the new car I've wanted for so long, but the delayed gratification was worth it because they delivered my car back to me ready for the rigors of Houston roads and to look good while doing it. The prices I paid were exactly what was listed on Dynamic Autoworks' website, all communication was prompt as my questions sent via Facebook were answered quickly, and all work and pricing was agreed upon in writing before I set my drop off appointment, which they accommodated on the weekend outside of regular business hours. My experience with Dynamic Autoworks was no BS and no games, just honest quality work performed, executed, and delivered exactly as promised. They really took care of me as a customer and exceeded my expectations, if you're looking to keep your car looking good for years to come give these guys a call. read more

I bought a brand new GTI, highest model, and wanted to protect the paint and get the windows tinted. I looked into Xpel and on their website Dynamic Autoworks (DA) was one of the shops identified. Didn't know much about the shop, but I got very very lucky. Of all the shops identified on the Xpel website, only DA got back to me in a timely manner. Tim, the owner, very quickly and without any sales jargon, emailed me and quoted me a very reasonable price to do the Xpel for the front and front sides of my car. Tim was able to get me in almost immediately as I was on a time crunch, and was even nice enough to give me a discount based on my employment. Stuart who works for DA now but worked for Xpel did the job on my car. Stuart did the job quickly but cautiously. On the day I went to pick the car up, I could see Stuart still fussing over his work like an artist not quite happy with his painting. When I saw the car, I could see an artist's work. Thats how I would describe Stuart and his work, an artist. I was so happy with the work he did, and I could barely see the lines of Xpel on my car. I decided to go back and get the Xpel on the back of my car. I drive on the highway a lot, so the Xpel helps to protect the paint on my car. There is a 7 year warranty on the Xpel. Next I decided to get my windows tinted and having seen the work DA did on my car already, I could only take it there even though there were other places that said they would do it for cheaper, and I had to drive an hour to DA. For me, it was wroth it. Again, Tim scheduled me in quickly, and they even allowed me to use their courtesy car while they worked on mine both times. When I was deciding which tint to do on my car, Ryan, another DA employee took the time to explain each tint material, and never tried to sell me the most expensive one. In the end, he was helpful in teaching me about the different tint material and I am very happy with the work done, plus they gave me lifetime warranty on the tint. 2 weeks after all the work was done on my car, I was an idiot and drove over a curb. I had forgotten how low the front of the GTI sits. I damaged the bottom of the car, the Xpel, and the paint. One email with Tim, and he got me in, gave me a discount and I left the car with Ryan. Ryan, like Stuart is an artist when it comes to his work. Ryan does the body work at DA, and using some state of the art techniques, he restored the black plastic parts of my front bumper to a point where the car looked brand new. He fixed the dents and paint to make the car look new. Not sure how he was able to fix the plastic parts without having to replace them, but he did it. Credit to him for that. Stuart, per usual, did a fantastic job of fixing the Xpel in the front. For me, DA is going to be my place for all of my car's detailing needs. Great team of talent and products to restore my paint protection film (PPF). My original installer had gone out of business and the film after 4-years had shifted to a yellow tint. My car is white so this was not what I expected from Suntek. Stewart at the shop took photos and my original receipt and contacted Suntek. Suntek honored their warranty and I worked out a schedule with Tim at Dynamic Autoworks to remove and replace with new Suntek PPF. Car looks great again and the shop has top of the line products and the talent to match. Highly recommend them to anyone wanting detailing, tinting, or PPF for their autos. read more

Dynamic Autoworks is amazing! I took in my car to do their "Dynamic Detail" which is the best detail package they offer! This service includes a Stage 1 Paint Correction! Basically what that means is that they will restore all painted surfaces to a better than new condition.
