My friend told me that Ingrid and Robin had been doing taxes for her mother and herself for many years. When you have two generations of clients who give their word on two generations of accountants, how can you not trust them? I am absolutely happy that I drove out of Sacramento to Elk Grove to meet Robin. Despite the current quarantine orders, Robin took the time to answer questions for me and explain certain tax laws and benefits. I was formerly a travel nurse and recently bought a home. I received my tax documents back perfectly organized with clear instructions and how to pay what I owed, to whom and the respective due dates. When you're busy working two jobs and are overwhelmed by doing taxes like I am (in the case of 2019 tax year, I had 3 different employers within the year), the expertise at Win Bookkeeping is invaluable. The 2019 year started with him missing our appointment to assess our State/Fed withholdings so that we didnt owe any money or wont get any money back from the State/Fed. We were able to reschedule our meet with him a week later and he comped the fee because he missed our first appointment. Things quickly took a turn for the worst when his office called to tell us that we would be getting a good amount of money back from the State/Fed. However, two weeks later his office called and said that we owe over $2,000 to the Fed. This was frustrating for multiple reasons: 1) what was the point of our withholding appointment and 2) telling us we would receive money and then telling us we owe over $2,000 is absurd. No issue so far. And I don't feel "harassed" though I am sorry for those who've experienced that. I have never though. -Sean as an individual - Upon reading other reviews, I think that people should go to a business for business. Not friendship. I'm not trying to crack a drink with the man. I just want thorough and cordial service and so far he has provided that. He's direct. But so am I and I would be VERY clear in letting people know if I felt disrespected at any capacity. But I don't. I personally don't take offense to stoic personalities but I can understand how some folks are used to having everything dipped in sugar to make it palatable for them. - integrity - I haven't had an issue with shady filing.
