The 2019 year started with him missing our appointment to assess our State/Fed withholdings so that we didnt owe any money or wont get any money back from the State/Fed. We were able to reschedule our meet with him a week later and he comped the fee because he missed our first appointment. Things quickly took a turn for the worst when his office called to tell us that we would be getting a good amount of money back from the State/Fed. However, two weeks later his office called and said that we owe over $2,000 to the Fed. This was frustrating for multiple reasons: 1) what was the point of our withholding appointment and 2) telling us we would receive money and then telling us we owe over $2,000 is absurd. We had our first tax appointment with Taxes and Books in Downtown and they were half the price and helped correct all the mistakes made by Sydney.

I get reminders to be diligent about timely filing, I get communication on changes in tax laws, they disclose to me when my taxes are filed, if it was accepted by IRS, and I am provided a folder of the information/ services provided. I have never though. -Sean as an individual - Upon reading other reviews, I think that people should go to a business for business. Not friendship. I'm not trying to crack a drink with the man. I just want thorough and cordial service and so far he has provided that. He's direct. But so am I and I would be VERY clear in letting people know if I felt disrespected at any capacity.
