Sapphire Law Group helped me with business formation. They were knowledgeable, very responsive and fair priced. I would highly recommend.

My mother initiated contact with Sapphire Law Group when she was diagnosed with cancer late last year. She was scared and sad and mad and all the horrible things that come with such a diagnosis. My mom died last month but she made me promise that I would send all the kudos I could to Sapphire Law Group (and the wonderful people who make it) for giving her kindness and comfort at the end of her life. Due to my mom's recommendation (and the sudden pressing realization of my own mortality) I am now working on my own trust as well as managing my mother's with the advice and guidance of Sapphire Law Group. If you want people who actually care... go here and you will get it. read more

We just completed updating our family trust with the help of Ingrid Tung and her team at Sapphire Law Group. I found them by requesting a referral from a financial planner that we hold in high regard. We originally had our trust prepared in 2004 and updated in 2019. Our experience with Sapphire Law Group was much different than with the prior attorney. It's easy to see why they have all 5 star reviews while our previous attorney has no reviews at all. Sapphire has a very concise, organized, and structured process and the results are much easier to navigate and understand documents. They clearly guided us through each step of the process and I feel like I understand the documents much better than before. We are very happy that we found them. read more

Every step of the way, Ingrid, Leah and Lisa made restating my trust a breeze. Thanks!

Heather and Meighan are... well, to be completely honest, just phenomenal to work with. They are friendly, articulate and on top of things. They are knowledgeable and can break things down outside of the confusing world of legalese. I visited them to get my Estate in order initially. Because that went to smoothly, I met up with them again to get some other legal matters taken care of. At the risk of sounding strange, I can't wait to work with them again! read more

I've worked with a lot of estate attorneys over the years and Sapphire is right up there with the very best of them. This is a great law firm which takes customer service very seriously. My emails were returned and calls answered, often the same day, if not the same hour! These women know estate law... which is a really good thing if YOU don't!! I was 100% happy with all the work they did on the restatement of our somewhat complex family trust. If you hire this law firm you will be happy with your choice as well. read more

When looking for an estate planner I called a number of legal groups. Sapphire Law Group not only answered my call, but had a plan for me after a 5 minute conversation. When I encountered bumps in the road with my end goal, they were amazingly responsive and adept at providing what I needed. I got nothing but the most exceptional, timely service from them and would highly recommend! They are lifesavers! read more

I came to an agreement with Sapphire Law Group to do my trust, and also move a property from my deceased dad's trust over into my trust. I did make it clear every time I mentioned that property, that it was currently under my dad's trust, not yet in my name. We came to an agreement, they wanted the money up front. The trust portion went well. The property in my dad's name did not. They decided that wasn't part of their deal and started telling me I needed to turn in a specific form to the county to change the deed. I told them I paid them for it, and they should be doing that, but they kept it up, and I was so overwhelmed with my dad's death, I just went ahead and did that. I came back to them to sign the trust, and gave them the deed form they wanted, and they immediately said I needed that property entirely in my name before they could move it to my trust. I complained again to them that I already paid extra for that, and they said no, it would be another $450 I think it was. Then later it was something like $7500 they wanted, as they'd have to take control of my dad's entire trust. I told them I don't need that, that work is almost done, and they need to take care of it. Months went by and Lisa emailed me and said maybe I should try this other law firm to get that work done. It is pretty wild for them to tell me I needed to pay another firm to do the work I already paid them for! I was still overwhelmed with my dad's estate, so I did that and got it done. I went back finally, many months later to get the final piece, having that property moved to our new trust. Lisa was doing that paperwork, and I told her I was going to give them a terrible review for the horrible way I'd been treated there. I didn't mention it, but I was planning on suing them and filing a complaint with the bar association. Lisa said yes, they had really messed up with me, and she was sorry about that, and she'd need another $150 to pay the filing fees with the county for this final paperwork. She even said it had nothing to do with that other property being under my dad's trust. I told her once again I had already paid for that, and she said well, if you give a good review, she can make it so I only have to pay $50 extra! This is beyond belief. I told her to expect my terrible review on how they treat their customers. Lisa had Heather call me, the lawyer who started Sapphire. Heather apologized, and offered, and did pay me back for the extra costs, although not the anything to cover all my time I spent trying to do the work I paid them to do. I told her what am I ever going to do if I need a change to this trust? I could never trust them to do anything in the future. She promised I could contact her directly and she'd take care of it. Heather went on to explain what a great company she'd started. I thought that took a lot of gall, for them to screw me over like they did, fail to follow the agreement and contract we had, take my money, and then stop doing the work, and call themselves great? Heather did try to make it right in the end, which did make it better. But it didn't go from awful to great. It was more like awful to pathetic. Hence my two star rating. I'm very sorry I choose Sapphire Law Group. read more

Sapphire Law Group was outstanding in revising our initial Family Trust after moving up here from the Bay Area a couple of years ago, very detail oriented, no nonsense, and extremely responsive. What a difference from our previous experience with an estate attorney in the Bay Area. We recently had to make adjustments to our Family Trust again and we received the exact same treatment as previously. Sapphire Law Group also educates you every step of way. Having worked in customer service and support for 40+ years, I would not hesitate for a minute on hiring the whole Sapphire Law team to work for me. They are outstanding. read more

After searching and reading several articles for my legal needs and reviews of attorneys' firms and profiles, we decided to work with the Sapphire Law Group. I contacted Sapphire Law office and Meighan, the firm's Paralegal/Office Manager, responded promptly to our inquiry. Meighan was very organized in the process where she sent us documents and detailed instructions of what we needed to do to move forward. We filled out a sort of an intake form, which is an excellent form by the way, where we used to fill out all necessary information needed for our documents. Meighan also provided us with the firm's secured mail portal and online scheduler where we could conveniently log in to communicate & to book our initial consultation with the firm's attorney, Heather. Sapphire Law Group is located in a suite of a professional building in Folsom. The office was clean, organized, and of course very professional. It was nice to meet Meighan & Heather for the first time. They both made us feel welcome and at ease, yet still able to maintain their professionalism. This is what we like the most about Sapphire Law Group. We felt that we could talk easily with and ask Heather anything about the laws and our legal matter in particular without feeling intimidated or dumb. We have worked with a few attorneys before and it goes without saying, all attorneys are NOT equal. For us, it is important to work with an attorney that is knowledgeable and professional, yet personable and most importantly the attorney's ability to explain complicated laws so that we can understand as well as the attorney's willingness to share information in details about new & current laws that is important for us to know. Heather was able to deliver all that during our 1-hour initial meeting. We walked out of the meeting feeling that we had accomplished a lot in one hour. We had all our questions answered; and more. We felt more informed about the subject matter more than ever after meeting with Heather. To make a long story short, we were able to get our documents completed and signed in less than 4 weeks. Some may think 4 weeks is too long, but that was because of us. We wanted to be extra careful when it comes to something as important as these legal matters that affect your lives in a big way. Heather Johnston and Meighan Justice at Sapphire Law is a great team that did a superb job in providing legal services for me and my family. This law firm was very professional in its service for us from start to end. Heather and Meighan were professional and courteous, who treated us with respect. We have worked with other attorneys before and some tend to be impersonal and at times arrogant in thinking that their clients are dumb and ignorant of the laws. Our goal in seeking help from an attorney was to protect our estate and in the process understand a little more about the current laws. With the help of Heather & Meighan, we were able to accomplish all that in an efficient manner. We were very happy with the legal services from Sapphire Law Group. We are so glad that we found Sapphire Law Group and we will definitely come back to this law firm if and when we need legal services in the future. Of course, we will, without any hesitation at all, highly recommend the Sapphire Law Group to anyone seeking legal services in the business, real estate, and estate planning areas. read more
