Seemed he felt bad for and or scared of/unsure of how to act in court, but claims he knows the law and didnt want to irritate the commissioner. Immediately said in court hearing before trial we wouldn't be talking about DV, when that was a huge piece for a long term marriage of it and for Perm SS. Felt confused, but was trying to trust. I was all alone, as I felt, during trial. Was quick to take money, but not a thorough job in catching up on major details of our case or making sure to prep me or himself or include Abuse that was absolutely needing to be shared and included. Sad that he didnt listen to me and I could sense he wasnt 'strong' enough, but hoped that his 'plan' was good long term. Had no other attorney options...Unfortunately nice attorney doesnt mean strong attorney or willing to do what you want and need or what is just. Did not feel fought for, and wish I went alone. Sad to say, Richard wasnt a good choice.
