Unfortunately the grains on the two woods could not be more different. The worst part though was the disaster he left my backyard. He cut the wood in my backyard without covering anything. He says he tried to clean up but it was too hot. By his own admission he set up on my brand new patio table with no protection and scratched it, and did not use a drop cloth and dripped paint on my new concrete deck. I was left with rusted metal chips (from the old posts) and sludge (from "trying" to hose down) from one end of my yard to the other. It took us 2.5 hours to clean up.
