Shopping online is a definite drawback especially for Macy's now. It's hit or miss. If I order one…read moreor two things, I'm going to end up returning every other item. Quality is very low, prices are high even on sales. Recently bought a comforter, Ralph Lauren, on sale, thinking I'd get the same or similar quality we've had since the 80's. Got a Box that smelled like excrement. Really bad, so cut it up and threw out as soon as possible. Comforter smells too, not wrapped in plastic. SHIPPED from INDIA! Went to warehouse in North Carolina, then Ohio, then here via UPS. I kid you not, it absolutely REEKS. The striped pattern is faded, not the vivid color online. Go to the store and shop. Not there or unavailable, you are better off. You can inspect what you're getting. This comforter is going straight to an outside laundromat, no way I'm putting it in our washing machine. EXCREMENT! Found some dried on outside bottom of the box, this is awful. AVOID any description that states, "Imported." There's your clue that they don't even carry it here in the US.

It has been my go-to store for clothing for close to three decades but now I can't shop there anymore because they don't carry clothing in my size. Yet the petite section remains. There's a word for that...what is it...oh yes-discrimination. Macy's is openly discriminating against women in larger bodies. And their Backstage section is low quality, which is where I've been directed to shop, as well as online. But online shopping isn't the same. This is disappointing news and I will be cancelling my Macy's card.

My trip today was to get some gardening supplies and organic heritage perennial seeds…read more Nate, who was Manning the cash register was very nice and very helpful. A very friendly environment but unfortunately, I wound up leaving with nothing except a bag of licorice This is a shame because they had a fairly extensive seed display, but absolutely nothing organic non-GMO. The same holds Tru for all of the gardening supplies, and I was really saddened to see that they are still selling like very dangerous pesticides that most countries ban. It's kind of an eye-opener. If I hire a contractor to work on my property and I asked them where they shop, I would be hesitant if they came in with products purchased at tractor supply because there's no way they're getting Organic products there. This was a real shame. I was really looking forward to becoming a regular client there.

This place is an emporium; something for almost everyone. They carry the usual dog & cat food, but they also have for horses and livestock. Special interest books: how to..., survival, foraging, etc. Tools, pet toys, rifle safes, it just goes on. The sales staff is helpful.

But, they didn't blow us off! I have quite a bit of experience in orthotics and prosthetics. Before I retired, that's what I used to do. Measure & Fabricate orthotics, and prosthetics, at the VA. Sales associate, Wendy, actually measured and did pressure analysis of my friend's gait. After watching her attention to detail, I asked if she had taken pedorthic fitters courses? I didn't tell her who I was. Haven't seen such attention to detail and custom service in decades! The majority of places, nowadays, that claim to sell shoes, have a couple of people standing around, that basically fill in stock or act as cashiers. She made suggestions as to what would be most appropriate, for his feet and conditions; not what is the most expensive shoe, she could sell. They have clothing, accessories, and other merchandise related to running and hiking. They can make inserts for your shoes, they also have them premade. There are boxes of various sized foot coverings to try shoes on with if you didn't wear socks. Never a good idea, unless you're wearing flip-flops. I was very impressed with the place, it's also very clean and well organized.
