When we walked in, Beth had such a inviting presence. I knew that we were going to be well taken care of the second we walked in. We had met some other consultants at the bridal show (they too were amazing -- very personable, and were EXCITED to help us), and were able to show us exactly what we wanted for my fiance, so we thought we might as well go look for a tux for him. So at the bridal show, we paid a $20 deposit, and we were able to schedule an appointment within a couple of days. We knew exactly what we wanted for my fiance - a navy tux with black lapels, however, we had no idea what we wanted for the other groomsmen or fathers. When we went to another rental store (popular, big named store), they had 5 tuxes and suits to choose from -- at Tuxedo Junction, they had to have AT LEAST 30 different tuxedos and suits to choose from. I was so impressed by the quality of the products, the variety of accessories (literally, every color or design you could think of), and most of all the service. Yes, they are a little bit slow, but that is because they are taking care of every customer one at a time. It is a small store, so there is only so much they can do. I felt appreciated, wanted, and they were excited to help me. I did not feel like I was just another appointment they had to go through, I felt like a customer who was appreciated. Needless to say, if you need a tux for a wedding, prom, or just because you want to buy or rent one, go to Tuxedo Junction. It was worth the drive.

They are from the brand 'Wander Beauty'. I tried one of the pairs this morning (1 May) and after keeping them on for about 16 mins, my under-eyes felt very hydrated and fresh. They also sell men's products too. This review is mostly for JCPenney Beauty which is located inside the JCPenney store where I had a wonderful experience browsing and learning about this new beauty venture at JCPenney. Sephora used to be located at JCPenney but that partnership ended and JCPenney decided to create their own beauty brand. Sarah, the JCBPenney Beauty Sales Associate was really pleasant and exceptionally helpful. She answered my friend and I's questions. BEAUTY BRANDS -- There are so many brands to choose from with a majority being from JCPenney Beauty and Thirteen Lune. Thirteen Lune is a female black-owned company that sells beauty products from small black-owned businesses. There are also many other brands from minority business owners such as Jason Wu (Asian). I recommend JCPenney Beauty because they carry plenty of products for black people which is sometimes hard to find in the bigger beauty stores. I will definitely be back to the beauty store at JCPenney. JCPENNEY DRESSES -- Right now, JCPenney has partnered with celebrity designer, Prabal Gurung, for an exclusive line of clothing. The designer is from Nepal but he moved to America years ago. His line with JCPenney is an inclusive line so it is more affordable than his usual $800-$2500 pieces. My friend bought me a cute Prabal Gurung dress which is currently on sale for under $60 (photos of his dresses attached). The big difference between the two experiences is that we had our daughter in a different state so thus we went to a different JCPenneys. On a positive note, everyone was super nice and willing to work with us as we got our appointment time confused and they were able to get us in anyways! The employees were kind and patient when it came to working w our newborn! The negative is that it was $50 more than last year, even with a $50 off coupon. So we ended up paying $150 for just digital copies and nothing more. The real disappointment was that the pictures look like it was an at home DIY attempt at newborn photography. Overall waste of time and money.

There was a descent selection of Men's Land's End clothes and suits. Upstairs had appliances, mattresses, home decor, and kids clothes. There is also a Kids Land's End upstairs with backpacks, lunch boxes, and clothes. I would not recommend going to this location unless you shop at the Land's End department.

After contacting Sears since it was still under 2-year warranty, the machine was diagnosed by an authorized repair facility on 1/5/18 as having a defective engine, and it was returned to us (at a cost of $75 for pickup and delivery) with direction that we needed to exchange it at a Sears retail store. Due to several store closings last summer, the closest retail store is now 40 miles away. Aside from that, the machine is too big and heavy to move in our vehicle. The store is telling us we will have to rent a truck (which will cost over $100 including insurance and mileage) to bring it across town to the store. This seems totally unacceptable considering it was bought online and delivered. I have worked for a division of Sears in the past and am very disappointed to see this low level of customer service as when I worked there we tried to make things right for the customer. Sadly we have not been able to use the snow thrower this entire past winter and instead have been dealing with multiple customer service representatives who simply want to shuffle us from department to department and not rectify the problem. The Fairview Park shop is a nice combination of clothes and some great bric a brac. Located in a medium sized plaza the Discovery Shop is also medium sized, always clean and well organized and you can find some great finds. Each week they have a 50% off color and the last weekend of the month everything in the store is 50% off. At this store I have found some really good clothes finds, especially on the men's clearance rack where the cost is $1 per item. I have found suit jackets, shirts and pants, while the men's selection is not large, what they have is usually very good and high quality. I have noticed that this store has a much larger selection of women's clothes. The store usually has a nice small selection of dishes, kitchenware and art; they do have some really interesting items up near the register, they often have some pieces from Europe, Asia and Africa. The selection seems to change everytime I have visited, nothing seems to last long at this shop. As an example I found a really nice leather motorcycle bag for under $10. The Fairview Park Discovery Shop is a fun and diverse place to do some thrifting; not the biggest store, but they really do a great job of making sure that they are selling high quality items at great prices. Not the kind of thrift store you are going to spend hours at, but well worth a visit whenever you are in the area to check out what they have. Plus the proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society which is a very worthwhile charity.

Additionally, a couple of the things I was sold have stains or other damage, but I was still charged an inflated price compared to online listings which doesn't make much sense to me. She's open to discussing prices, but I just trusted her because she had been so friendly and I don't know much about vintage fashion, and in turn I think she saw the opportunity to take advantage of someone new to the vintage world. Overall, I recommend to those who are knowledgeable on vintage fashion, brave enough to haggle, or willing to spend a bit.
