Fantastic customer service, fast and efficient work, great vibes. This shop is amazing. From the get-go the customer service was the best I've ever experienced at a motorcycle shop. Sandy, at the front desk, is polite and helpful and doesn't at all make me feel like I'm inconveniencing her (my typical experience, elsewhere). I recently replaced my sprockets and chain, brought it in same day, was given a time estimate of 1.5 hours, I decided to stick around, Sandy pointed me to a lunch spot just up the street and sent me with a bottled water (it was a very hot day), Tom finished in under an hour, and boom, awesome. Tom recommended that I replace my front tire soon and did so without me feeling pressured. He showed me what tires they normally keep in stock and talked through the differences and what he would recommend for my riding style. I returned about a month later and had the exact same experience as my first time with the shop. Sandy was polite and professional. We chatted and joked about their squeaky floors. I ate lunch up the road, again, while I waited. Sandy even submitted the rebate form for the tires online for me :) , Tom had the tires on in probably less than 45 min. This shop is a little out of the way for me but I don't care. I'll be coming back here forever if I can.

    Damage one screw

I brought my motorcycle to this "mechanic" which was a big mistake!! I needed a valve adjustment done The work was done unprofessionally and caused more damage. I have this bike from day one, bought it band new from the dealer. He was the first mechanic to touch it, and now I have damage on... The camshaft , he put USED shim and when he installed it back he didn't adjusted it good. To top that - the timing chain was jumping!!! When I sent him the pictures and the damage he did to my bike he "disappeared" and is ignoring me. Horrible job not recommend not recommend not recommend

Here's the new rig! Tom and Sandy are great operators.

Emailed about a bike over the weekend... Tom and Sandy are great operators, very low key, polite, and knowledgeable. I test drove the bike on Monday, arranged my financing Tuesday... I'm riding it home Wednesday! Thanks for the great buying experience!

Paid to have all my lines replaced, my motor blew the next day, found this while pulling the DWS touched motor. RIDER BEWARE!

So earlier this year I purchased a used 1997 seadoo GSX, and a 1998 Seadoo XPL. Both skis ran, but they both also needed some work. I purchased these skis knowing full well that they would need to be gone through by the years end. They weren't/aren't cheap salvaged skis but they are 20 year old 2 strokes and aren't immune to the nuances that comes with them. My gsx runs fine, but needed some bits and Bob's done to it, nothing mechanical. My XPL had a fuel flow issue where I felt that it would be best to get it in to an "expert" to not only go through the carbs, but the entire ski and while at it gok through the GSX front to back as well. DWS was recommended to me by a friend who uses them for his bike and said that they do solid work. I was prepared to pay whatever (reasonable) to get them up to speed, and wasn't being a cheapo as I understand the cost and time it takes to work on these. I explained this to Tom, and when they gave me the quote I didn't even raise an eyebrow at the cost, it wasn't a deal by any means but I felt it was an honest price for the work guaranteed. Both Tom and Sandy were a joy to deal with initially. I informed them that if they weren't able to get the ski's done in the next week that I would be leaving out of town so please do not rush through them, it was very important to me that they took their time and did a thorough job. Tom explained to me that he was swamped and was having difficulty finding a dependable and reliable shop tech, and the new guy he was struggling with as he was missing little things that he otherwise would have corrected on clients machines. (That should've been my cue to abort), I didn't. :( I specifically remember asking over and over if there was ANYTHING that he saw in his inspection on either ski's that I should be aware of. My 1999 GSX ran flawlessly, as expected as it always has. My XPL, which is my baby out of the two is a completely different story. I hopped on it ski island, and headed towards fiesta to meet up with some friends there. I gave it a good 5-10 minutes of putting around to let it warm up, and progressively gave it more throttle as I headed towards fiesta and the long no-wake stretch. By the time I got thru the no-wakw stretch I was stoked that it was operating as advertised. Did a quick lap, and then proceeded to do a fast lap and my ski died. It felt like someone pulled the battery cable and it just lost all power to a dead stop. Thinking it was impossible to have a dead battery as I had it on a tender since the shop, I called up Tom right there on the spot. He said to bring it to him to have a look. When I got it to him, he did some test and said that most likely the motor has seized! So after getting the bad news, I accepted that hey, I guess these things can happen. Tucked my tail between the legs, and headed home with a very expensive paper weight to weigh out my options. The one thing that stuck in my mind was, To said to me, Hey maybe you should just trade it in for a new one.....really? That's your response? So after deliberating with friends and browsing online I decided I would pull my motor and ship it to be rebuilt. While doing so, I found that Tom had not replaced all the old lines on my motor as I paid him to do, which also tells me he didn't go through this ski for ANYTHING that would be a red flag. When I asked him about it, he got very defensive and said that the grey tempo line with green crude leaking out of the hose and into the engine case was a VACUUM line and not a fuel line and then directed me to SBT. What reputable mech would recommend them as a first option? Now I'm not saying that line caused the failure, but it couldve. I'm not saying Tom caused my failure, but he could've. What I'm saying is he happily took my money, and did not do what he said and agreed he would do AND my motor quit 30 minutes after leaving his care, coincidence, sure anything is possible, but what really made my mind up on this review is how He responded when his work was threatened. Instead of saying at let me break it down for you and see what happened, he tapped danced and tried to put the blame on an old ski. Instead of looking for a way to find a amicable solution, he did his best to wipe his hands clean.

Tom is knowledgable, professional, and trustworthy. He loves motorcycles and is careful to attend to the needs of every bike he services. His down-to-earth demeanor is refreshing and honest. His storefront has the basic essentials a rider needs and you can bet Tom will talk motorcycles with you as much as you'd like.

There are simple jobs to be done for easy money but finding people willing to do it is the challenge! I am lucky Dridox provided mobile service and came to my home to take of services I need... call service ($75) battery replacement ($65 + $29 for battery) and oil change ($85) , maybe tank flush if it didn't start up after the battery replacement. This is what I get for letting my two wheels sit idle in the garage during the winter months collecting dust. I reached out, got a quote, and scheduled the service with Adriano. I had intentions to do this all myself but didn't have all the tools and would like to see it done first before taking a hand at it... also eager to ride and want these services done ASAP! Adriano arrived early/on time, charged my battery and tested it (def needed a new one), replaced my battery, hooked up my charger device (recently bought it and didn't know it's needed for maintenance), it started so I didn't need a tank flush, but went ahead with an oil change since I was overdue. I did tell Adriano I been nearby g to do this on my own so he did show me how-to and what tools and what to look for or be careful of, which I super appreciate his professionalism and expertise. My little two wheels was probably a cake walk to what he is use to servicing. Within the hour all was done. If bigger jobs need to be done such as engine rebuild - they do that too and can rack your two wheels to their shop. The business accepts credit cards, Venmo, and Zelle. The motorcycle shop that usually serviced my two-wheels for years stopped providing service and only to Surrons going forward... they gain some but lost a lot of the only tailor to only a specific kind. My choices were 1) Do the services myself 2) Tow it to Fun Bike Center and get it serviced 3) Fine a mobile service to do it. With the impatience of not riding and budget considered, mobile service was best especially when watching and learning to (maybe) do it in the future yourself. For any future assistance with my two wheel maintenance, I'll be giving them a call. I highly recommend their services.

Every time I stop by the shop he treats me like a friend. He's getting super busy these days but he always takes the time to explain any problems & describe his work. I'm a new rider but on my second motorcycle. I started with an old Susuki savage that had been sitting for years, he tuned it up, got it running smoothly, & solved my nagging dead battery issues. It took some trouble shooting but apparently the starter / single cylinder 650cc can pretty hard on batteries (despite being on a trickle charger). I needed an upgrade to a super tough battery - Mark was hesitant because the cost was higher but it was really necessary to solve the problem, haven't had an issue since. When I upgraded to a 1989 Yamaha Virago 1100 (with only 6K miles on it!) I took it straight to Mark for a tune up. Obviously this bike has spent most of its life in storage. He flushed the fluids out of all the systems & spent hours getting nearly solid gunk out of her arteries. All the build up was causing the engine to idle & rev at variable RMPs. After a week or so I brought her back in to see why it was difficult to handle at low speeds (in 1st gear keeps wanting to die & required a lot of throttle) I thought I was just a wimpy new rider but Mark make adjustments to the engine to choke it back a bit & worked on the clutch so it was easier for my small hands work the engaging point. His efforts have really improved my ride! It's so much easier to handle & still have tons of power. Thanks Mark!!

First - BOOKING. The appointment system is the best I've ever used or seen. You'll use the website https://8ball.tires that will let you pick a day and a time, where you'll provide the information on your bike and the service or services you need. There is a deposit, which is applied to your service or purchase, unless you fail to be at your appointment. Don't worry! This is an amazing system, it keeps costs down by encouraging folks to show up on time and makes sure that appointments are open as the bike riders show up on time to avoid losing their deposit. Brilliant! Second - ENTRY. I was greeted by an amazing, knowledgeable and friendly staff. They went over my tires, rims, and use to make sure everything was done right, AND IT WAS. They were unexpectedly attentive and patient and took their time to make sure everything was as it should be. Total confidence in their process as they clearly marked the rims to ensure zero doubt in their installation. Fourth - THE INVENTORY. They have EVERYTHING! The staff literally knew, by memory the tire size for my bike, and of course, had it in stock. NO WAIT. I've never seen so many tires and they're in great shape, with brakes, and other essentials like valve stems in stock and ready to go. Fifth - Prices. The BEST, not only for installation, but also the tires themselves. This IS the place to go in San Diego! Sixth - THE WAIT - OR LACK OF IT. First time I've been disappointed to have to leave a tire shop - EVER. The waiting area had coffee, stickers, a pool table - c'mon it's 8 ball for goodness sake! Tons of great memorabilia, a place to hang helmets, jackets, and your gear and a bunch of great seats with a terrific TV with of course, bike stuff on! My bike was done SUPER fast, unbelievably so. These are professionals! Great Wi-Fi and all the comforts to make your visit amazing. Seventh - THE WORK. Keep being awesome! My wheels were uber clean, and ready to go and the valve stems WAY better than the old rubber by being converted to 90 degrees. They also look GREAT. Conclusion - JUST GO HERE! I asked if he was still available and if he had the software update for the NEW Harley Road Glide models. He replied that he did have it, so we confirmed for January 16 for 9:30am but he didn't show up until after 1pm. He started the job with an understanding that he had a right ABS software to complete the job. After he finished the ABS flush, he let me know that he did not have the right ABS software for the new models so the ABS light would remain on but that he bought the new software, and was waiting for Harley-Davidson to send him information, so that as soon as he had it, he would let me know to finish the ABS flush. A week later, I texted him to ask about a quote for a tire installation and to check on him completing ABS update. He texted me the cost, but we were unable to confirm the installation date due to personal family matters I had the rest of the week. Two weeks passed and since I had not heard from him for almost two weeks about completing the ABS flush job, I reached out to him. I texted him on February 11, 2026, but he didn't return my text. I also called him on February 12, but he did not answer or return the call. I called him on February 23 and 24, but he sent me straight to voicemail. On February 25, I texted him to ask if everything was okay and let him know I felt he was purposely ignoring my communication. I explained, again, that my family matters on the week of January 26, but he still needed to finish the ABS flush software update to remove the light of the dashboard screen and complete that job, that I was willing to ride up to north county (Oceanside) for him to finish the job. He replied that he had not purchased the software because the tire installation did not occurred on January 29, and he moved to Oceanside. What's crazy is that on the 16th (day of ABS flush), he told me he had bought software program and was waiting on Harley-Davidson to do "something." Also, we never confirmed the tire installation date. I texted him that I would confirm on a later date, but I was unable to do so because I was traveling. If we would had confirmed a tire installation we would had communicated before his arrival to my house. Plus, the tire installation is a different job from the ABS Flush. He informed me that he would not be completing the job and that I should take it to someone else for the light removal. However, I trusted in him to finish the job, so I paid him on January 16 for the ABS flush, he even signed my HD service records on my owners manual. Now, HD dealer services has informed me that I would have to pay to redo the ABS flush because they have to do it to remove the light. That means the ABS flush will cost me close to $600; between what I paid Mike and the HD service cost. I can't understand why he accepted a job where he was asked specifically about having the proper tools to complete the job, but didn't do the work to verify the software before hand. If he would have told me that he didn't have the tools, I would have waited for him to buy it and he could have still done the work. Now I'm going to be having to spend more money. Mike's actions lacks professionalism and integrity to his customers base.
