Every time I scheduled an appointment for a technician to come and evaluate and fix the problem (one room will get too cold while another room will not get cool enough) I was told "Try this setting, should work better." One time a technician "topped off" the coolant in the outdoor unit because "it seemed a little low." The last time they came out to "fix" it and do an annual cleaning they charged me $500 and did next to nothing. I complained and they only lowered the price to $350, again after doing next to nothing besides cleaning the filters. I can't understand why they are unwilling to do what it takes to fix the problem but I can no longer trust them. Four years now and still not working right.

When it came time to install central air conditioning in our home, we wanted to make sure we were…read moremaking the right long-term investment. We received an in-home quote from another company that initially seemed almost too good to be true. After doing additional research, we discovered the proposed system had been sized primarily for heating, meaning the cooling capacity would need to be throttled back, potentially leading to increased wear on the equipment over time. The quote also included older, discontinued clearance models that used refrigerant scheduled to be phased out in the near future. That experience made us appreciate the honesty and expertise of Family Danz even more. John R. visited our home, provided a realistic and transparent quote, thoroughly explained the advantages and disadvantages of each Bryant system option, and allowed us to make an informed decision without any sales pressure. As a retired military veteran, I also sincerely appreciated the additional savings they extended as a thank-you for my service. Once we committed to the installation, everything moved quickly. We were scheduled promptly, and before work began, John R. and Residential Installation Manager Josh G. conducted a final walkthrough to verify measurements, answer every question we had, and ensure all of our concerns were addressed. On installation day, Grady and Kayden arrived right on time, listened carefully to our requests, and immediately got to work. Although an unexpected scheduling delay with the electrician from Mackey Electrical meant power wouldn't be available until Wednesday, the installation team adapted their schedule and completed as much of the work as possible in advance. They even coordinated an earlier start on the second day to get ahead of the intense attic heat. Throughout the four-day installation, Josh stopped by regularly to inspect the progress, answer questions, and make sure the crew was working safely and staying hydrated. Every member of the Family Danz team demonstrated professionalism, outstanding communication, and genuine pride in their work. Any issues that arose during the installation were addressed quickly and communicated directly to management, giving us complete confidence that customer satisfaction was their highest priority. The quality of the workmanship and attention to detail exceeded our expectations, and the finished Bryant air conditioning system looks and performs beautifully. Based on this experience, we have decided to trust Family Danz with all of our future heating and cooling needs, including servicing our boiler and hydronic baseboard heating system. If you are like us, having a central air cooling system is a major home improvement to not only improve our quality of life but increase the home value. It also does not come without a significant price tag which is why the value and longevity of the system is important to us. We wholeheartedly recommend Family Danz to anyone looking for honest advice, skilled installation, and exceptional customer service. They truly earned our 5-star rating.

Glamorgan installed my new AC and furnace this week. I chose them because of their good reviews and…read morebecause they ran all new intake and venting pipes all for about the same price as other quotes I got. Aaron and his crew did an outstanding job during the two day installation. There was a minor hiccup that Aaron diagnosed and fixed in about five minutes. They thoroughly cleaned up inside and outside after the work was done (a rare thing these days!). Aaron's attention to detail is second to none - leveling the AC unit (my previous one was never quite level), installing an easy shutoff switch, clean seam lines on ductwork. Nick, who was my first contact, was extremely helpful through the pre-installation process especially helping me find low cost financing. I highly recommend Glamorgan.

I had a partially clogged toilet. Two people came, decided I needed drain system vent…read morerepair/replacement. They did not check for clogs in the system. Took two guys four hours or so. Did the work, $1800.00 plus tax. Toilet flushed for about an hour or two then stopped working again. Called back, was told I needed a septic system vent-$3200.00 more, called a septic company, they came to the house, checked they system and told me I DID NOT need a vent for the system. So I called another plumber, he snaked the toilet, found a mineral buildup, cleaned it out, just over $200.00 and it has worked fine since. Called Glamorgan back, was told the owner would contact me. That was weeks ago-no longer expecting a call. The work to replace the vent was probably done OK, kind of pricey, the follow up was not OK. I also had asked for a couple quotes on other things while they were at my home. Glamorgan was just about twice the price of others I later checked with. The plumbers were pleasant, did leave a huge mess, and arrived on time. The work was expensive, did not solve the problem, and the owner never tried to contact me. I suspect they really do not like to be told they made a mistake plus they charge more than others in the area. Bottom line is-I will not use them again or recommend them to others. Buyer beware, try and get a second estimate or talk to others that have used them. My experience was not good and I did not like being talked down to when I pointed out they did not fix my problem.

This was the first winter with a new propane furnace and it failed in the middle of the night when…read morethe temperature dropped to negative 4 degrees. I called a handful of companies and none were able to come out. I called Best Plumbing & Cooling Contractors and they asked for my contact information and then messaged me to say that there was a $300 "Emergency Fee". Although that seemed high, I had no other option. The technician arrived within the hour. He told me that he had to leave the truck running with flashing lights. My neighbor, who was also awake with a failed propane furnace, saw the vehicle in my driveway and called to see if I was ok. My neighbor told me to tell the technician to try going outside and warming up the propane regulator. He said he just warmed his up and his heat came back on. I relayed this to the technician, but he did not take him up on his suggestion. At one point he changed the flame sensor but that didn't fix the problem. He asked me if I wanted to keep the new flame sensor in or if he should take it back out. I said it was fine to leave it in. He continued to try different things and finally after an hour or so, borrowed a lighter and repeatedly put the flame up to the propane coming towards the flame sensor and got it to light. I asked the technician multiple times to please explain what he did. My husband was out of town this whole time and I wanted to be able to explain to my husband what we should do when this happens again. He kept ignoring my question but then finally said if you get it light up a few times, after a while it will stay lit. When it was time to settle the bill, I was flabbergasted at the price. It was the $300 Emergency Service, plus another $300 Labor Emergency Rate! All together, my bill was $720.79. The description on the bill was flame sensor installed, but again, the flame sensor was not the issue. After doing some research the following morning, it seems that my neighbor was correct and that the first thing you should try is warming up the regulator on the propane tank. It would seem the issue could have been fixed in 10 minutes. I have called and left messages 5 times to discuss my bill with no call backs. I am so confused as to why there are so many 5 star reviews when they won't even return my phone calls.

They even coordinated with a carpenter to replace insulation and repair the wall where the old return vent had been. Knowing I was pregnant, the team rearranged their schedules to meet my tight timeline. They were patient and professional, explained everything clearly, checked our outdoor AC unit, shared simple maintenance tips, and left the work area spotless. One thoughtful touch that stood out was their practice of donating working thermostats to lower-income households instead of discarding them--something I wouldn't have thought to do. Professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind, I will absolutely call them again for future HVAC work. They're a small team that clearly takes pride in doing the job right and taking care of their customers. A special thanks to Thommy, Mitch, and Holly!
