Professor Justin went above and beyond to make my kids feel welcomed and a part of the family. We tried another Gracie Barra on Oahu on their opening day and we did not feel welcome. Aloha Stadium upholds all of the Gracie Barra philosophies, curriculum, and uniform policies. It's extremely professional and really upholds the Gracie Barra way. My children do Jujitsu to help them become better people, learn how to defend themselves, and learn how to get back to their community and they learn all these things here at Aloha Stadium.

The school / students were all very welcoming to us. From the instant we stepped onto the mats, we felt like we belonged there. The people who train there are really friendly and quick to offer helpful tips. Their Jiu Jitsu is top notch and very technical. Not the typical smash and pass style that you see at some other gyms. We watched a kids class and Coach Edmund is very patient and makes the class enjoyable. You can tell that the kids are having fun yet still learning a valuable skill. My son also did a private lesson with Coach Edmund to help prepare him for an upcoming tournament. Edmund took the time to watch a video of my son competing and worked with him on things that needed improvement. Sadly, we live on the other side of the island. Excellent, excellent, excellent! Are you shopping for a Basic Pistol Class or advance training? 5 & 7 is the only choice. My son has taken three different courses while my wife and I took this one. Now the majority of my family has been taught by this establishment's professional and experienced instructors. I have nothing but good things to say. Well worth every penny and minute.

There were 2 parts to the Basic Pistol Safety Course. There was classroom time and range time. David and Joey was very thorough with the information that they taught during the classroom time. They did so good that it made everyone feel confident that they can pass the test at the end of the classroom time and everyone did pass! David and Joey was also very good instructors during the range time. We were able to shoot at different distances. During the shooting, we were able to pick and choose which pistol we want to shoot. I was very pleased that they had a Glock 19 because that is the pistol that I'm looking to get in the future and was glad that I was able to get a feel for it. Overall, I would definitely recommend them if you're looking to get into firearms! I'm for sure taking my daughter to them in the future when she gets a little older!
