"Holy Crispy clean laundry Batman!"…read more I have to say I was beyond shocked to find this place in relative proximity to the ghetto of Newburgh. Sorry Newburgh that I keep referencing your city as ghetto but let's keep it real, it is ghetto! LOL! This laundromat was immaculately clean and beautiful! I had done laundry at other locations in New Windsor and while other places were decent, this place is insanely clean and well maintained. It's just SO out of place being in Newburgh. I've always had laundry facilities at home until recently so I'm not entirely sure if what I paid to clean my panties...I mean underwear (don't judge me; LOL) was expensive. But for what I paid I feel like my clothes came out really clean and the dryers dried as I expected despite the quarter only giving me 6-7 minutes. I really didn't pay attention to how much time each quarter gave me I just put enough for an hour dry time. If others in this area thinks this place might be expensive I hope the owner keeps it that way because this facility is worth the price of admission. Excellent condition machines, nice tables for folding, cable TV, free wifi, etc.

I said hello to the attendant as I deposited my money into the dryer. She replied with pleasant hello. I proceeded to sit on a near by bench when she saw my service animal. She proceeded to tell me that they have a no pet policy and that I would have to leave the laundromat. I informed her that my dog was not a pet but a service animal. She said it didn't matter if it was a service animal I would still have to wait outside while my clothes dried. I asked her to call the owner, she refused. I asked her to call the police so that they could explain the service animal law, she refused. I went outside to call the Town of Newburgh police and waited outside for the to arrive. While waiting a customer pointed out a sign that was posted, "No Pets unless it is a service dog with paperwork in hand." My clothes had dried and the attendant stated that I could not fold the there and that I would have to leave and fold them somewhere else. I took my clothes outside and waited until the officer arrived, approx. 9:00 p.m. stating the owner Angela Kinan has officially trespassed me from the laundromat . At approx. 9:21 P.M. the Supervisor arrived to try and explain to the attendant that what she was doing violated the law, however she was unwilling to comply with the ADA laws of New York and Supervisor gave me the blotter number .

I keep coming back because at least the place is clean, it just boggles my mind how expensive it actually is. (Though someone else's leftover bleach in a machine had discolored one of my garments...but I digress.) I've been running around so much I just didn't have time to do it myself this time. Tim and Chelsea Ridge Cleaners to the rescue! The store was not yet open when I left a message, and I got a call back very quickly from Tim the owner saying that they could pick up and deliver my wash, same day. Fantastic! I quickly pulled together two loads and left them for pick up by the front desk. A little more running around and a while later I realized I had forgotten another full basket of dirty clothes! Aaah! By this time he was nearly at the shop so I took it there myself. Thankfully, it was not a long drive and I got to see their nice clean shop in Chelsea Ridge Mall. Later that afternoon I received a text letting me know that the clean clothes had been delivered to the hotel. Based on the form left in the room, I would have paid an arm and a leg for the wash & fold service offered by the hotel. Tim's price was reasonable, in fact not a tremendous amount more than I was paying to do it myself in the hotel machines. All in all an excellent experience!

The laundromat is fairly big with small to gigantic sized washers. The dryers are varied between large at 6 minutes per quarter and jumbo for 4 minutes per quarter. The worker I reported it to "couldn't help me" and said that I had to contact the vendor. I just ended up going through my bank. I like this spot, but like normal it's annoying when it's crowded.
