this store is DANGEROUS! meaning, i work in too close of proximity to not stop by almost on a daily…read morebasis , so it is dangerous to my bank account. i am somewhat of a tack and clothing whore and always in need some piece of something, which horsemans always has or can get for me. if they do not have it in the store, they can place a special order, and are always super accommodating. so- they score various points for having a store that's huge close to me with so much to offer in it. they also have a wicked awesome consignment section which is rad. i browse the back area more often than i purchase though, which is something i hope to change- since there is so much of a selection of good things at reasonable prices- from animo coats to tailored sportsman breeches to field boots in varying stages of wear, etc. there's even a good selection of dog supplies, which is an added bonus because my three pups love the bones from here and are all outfitted with coats from here. there is a lot to take in here, which for me is the only minor drawback because i feel like due to the huge size and large amounts of products that i am simply missing stuff when i go there. i do want to make sure i commend them on the process of purchasing my prestige saddle. the store was super helpful. i started by taking it out on a trial, which i was told was for a week by the person who helped me fit the saddle. when i went to fill out the paperwork, a different lady at the register said trial was for three days. they let me trial it for a week, which was sweet. after a week i brought the saddle back after trying hard to find info on the saddle online and through the company but wasn't getting a ton of info because the seller was unreachable/and the saddle maker was at a convention. needless to say, horsemans was very accommodating, and worked with me to allow me to have more time to wait for time to come in for me to get the info i was looking for from the seller, the saddle company, etc. they wound up extending my trial for another week, plus more time after that. thats just great customer service. it was a great experience, as it gave me a ton of time to ride in the saddle and be certain that was the perfect saddle for me. excellent customer service, knowledgeable staff members, friendly dogs that hang out in the store, tons of products, huge consignment selection if thats your thing, personalization, dog section, etc

LVT tries to stock the…read morenecessary items required for horse care such as various shampoos, wound care, and creams etc. Physical tack items are limited with CHEAP brands such as Tough 1, Ovation, Horze, Troxel Etc. Staff is nice and the attempt is there. I try to support when I can, but I often find I am shopping online for items at other places. I do not think place will stay in business unless consignment area is larger or they have a e-commerce website. I think equestrians will prefer to drive out to NJ area for other stores with broader selection of items.

Last week, my daughter and I went in the get sized for a new helmet and tall boots that would be apart of her Christmas gift. She got sized for a helmet first and tried on different sizes and found one she really liked. It fit her nice and the person who was helping us did a couple test to make sure it fit. After she found one that fit we decided we were going to buy it. Then, we went over to get sized for tall boots and the girl measured my daughter. She went back into the room with all the stuff and found a couple sizes to see what would fit. Unfortunately, they didn't have her size at the store which we were fine with and they offered to special order the size for us. We accepted the offer and they told us they would call us when the boots were in. Less then a week later they called my wife. All repairs I have had done at other shops have been horrible quality and over priced. Coach Stop has turned that opinion around. They charged me a very reasonable rate, plus she happened to notice that the other boot's snap was about to go out also, and she replaced that one at no additional charge.
