So I walk over to the juice area just browsing, and the juice lady snaps at me and says we're not open till eight,in the snarkiest tone.and seemed annoyed with me just being there.. And I said yes I know I am just looking around. She looked at me like I was an idiot. I told her great customer service, now I don't wanna order anything and left. The place seems cute, but I can only imagine how much her attitude is affecting the business. I don't know if she's the owner, but I don't understand why she thinks she can treat people with such disrespect.

The homemade ancient-grain sourdough was piled high with a Mediterranean vibe and was delicious. I would have bought a loaf of bread or two!! Should sell it! I also loved the chia latte made with their homemade plant-based milk, so good. I do wish they had more vegan friendly food options, but what I did have was very tasty. It seems almost forgotten and very much an afterthought. It is in the middle of a strip mall (no drive thru). Upon first walking in the place needed a good cleaning or at least sweeping the floor and straightening the shelves. Granted I could tell they had been busy and it wasn't slowing down. My smoothie (Green Tea Tango) was good, but with the raspberry addition you have to blend it a little extra (they did not). The cashier did remind me that it was $5 Friday. I am on the fence if I would make the trip just for this SK again.

My kids and I arrived on opening day in the afternoon and it was packed. Although I didn't get to try the açaí bowls or juices, my kids did opt for the Berry Banana Burst smoothie. They both thought it was very good and what I liked about it was that it wasn't overly sweet like other smoothies. Less sugar makes my kids less hyper and I'm 100% happy about that. I'm not a big banana fan and both smoothies didn't have an overpowering banana flavor. Ordering was a breeze and as usual, my son dropped his on the floor and it made a mess. Thankfully it wasn't too bad and I helped an employee clean it up. The fact that this is walking distance is dangerous and I know I'm going to have to show some self-restraint.
