I had a creamy white peacoat that had a yellowing on the velvety collar. And then I spilled some black beans on the sleeve. They were able to get both out and it looks lovely. I forget the price but it was under $20 or under, I want to say 12 though. Just moved to the area and needed a dry cleaner. It's hard to change after 25 years but durfeys came through.

I can't say enough good things about Durfey's. I needed my Austrian Goose down comforter cleaned. It was purchased in Austria and there was no way to replace it, if damaged. I took it to Durfey's and they were able to get the stains out of it without damaging the down. When I went to pick it up, the older gentleman mentioned to me how amazing the down was in my comforter and wanted to know where I got it. When I told him, he was very impressed. I now recommend Durfey's to anyone and everyone, even for the simplest of cleanings. read more

Were do I start? First off I am new to the area I look at the reviews and think to myself must be ok. So I stop on in and the lady's are super sweet. Told me they are a little higher price then most. Told me 48.00 for every thing I was like cool They eve gave me 5.00 off for first time customer. This is were it gets better. I takes over a week to get my clothes. Normal places 2-3 DAYS! when I had the lady my ticket she told me "That will be $78.00 please." I said "WHAT!!" they told me 48.00 when I dropped off. I saod hell no give me a manager! He came over and was nice but I could see he really did not care. He took 10.00 but really. you tell a customer one thing at drop off my ticket said 48.00 then get told its another 30.00 MORE! OMG I truly got taken to the cleaners here! I wont be coming back and I hope people see the OUTRAGEOUS HIGH PRICES and go else ware. we sent my little sisters wedding dress to them 12 days ago. it had a little bit of dirt on it from bridals and we were referred to here. whenever I called to check up on it the people answering the phone were rude, short, & wouldn't do anything to help. on the day we could pick it up I called at 9am and let them know that we lived 2 hours from them, but had family down there and wondered if it could be ready any sooner. the girl I talked to said "no. 4pm is the only time you can get it." and then ended the call. they then call my sister in law at 10am saying it was ready for pickup... there is no way an hour before that they didn't know it would be ready. but whatever, we got the dress back. The wedding is TODAY and we opened the bag up to get the dress out and it looks worse than when we brought it. the dirt was spread up and through the entire train of the dress. it looks like chocolate milk was spilled over it. we paid $150 and had to deal with rude customer service for my sisters wedding dress to come back worse than when we sent it. I have been using this place for two years but I have had enough. They will not call me when they see stains on my shirts like they are supposed to. So when I go to pick up my shirts they say they haven't cleaned them yet because of the stains. I ask why they don't call me about it? They reply saying they are supposed to call. Then I tell them they never called. At this point they tell me it will be another three days to get my shirts. This conversations has occurred three or four times over the years. My shorts have permanent stains on them that I don't care about and I have instructed them many times to ignore them and just go ahead and process my clothes. Three days ago I picked up one of these shirts that was delayed for this reason, and the employee comes out and asks if these other four shirts were mine. I said "Yes!" They have had my shirts sitting somewhere in their store since last June. Yes, you read that right. This is April and they have had five of my shirts sitting in their store since last June. They never called me about them and I had asked them where they were but nobody ever knew and told me that they don't lose shirts. This is a horrible place to take your clothes for cleaning. Worst dry cleaning store I've ever dealt with. I am looking for an alternative. I'd love to see a Red Hanger store open up here in the Lehi/American Fork area. Stay away from Durfey's. read more

The building is a little run down...but I really like the way they do shirts. I feel like the turnover is super fast and the prices are reasonable. Plus they don't write your name on the shirt. Which annoys me. So I would definitely recommend them. read more

So me and my husband chose this place because it was highly recommended by a friend. We didn't do any other research--like BBB or online ratings--which I probably should have, but we don't have lots of time. So they weren't able to get rid of some older stains on some items, which is understandable--time does matter, and for the most part things came back okay and seemed clean enough. But I always felt suspicious as dry cleaners, no matter how decent, are notorious for ruining things--it's always a gamble trying to decide what will be the best option for the articles in question. Well I took that gamble on a shirt that was supposed to bounce back, and they completely ironed out the stretchiness--ruining its drape. So I did my homework on alternative cleaners (once again no place online seems perfect) and came back into the cleaners completely expecting there to be a teen or someone else highly underpaid to roll their eyes and be like sorry, there's nothing we can do, and then coming back and venting here. She seemed genuinely concerned and called her manager who was knowledgable and offered several courses of action and ended up compensating me for more than the price of the shirt and getting it cleaned combined. I was impressed at the customer service! So I'll be coming back unless I notice a downward trend in their services. read more
