This is one of the best RV campsites we have stayed at. It is a smaller resort, but that makes it feel so much more homely. Plenty of space between the sites, well kept, even saw a mosquito truck spraying in the morning. The owners take pride in this resort and it shows all the way through. Everything is convenient and thought through. The dog park is spacious with immaculate fencing that can even keep small dogs contained. Its quiet and peaceful. Nice views of the mountains. read more

Make sure you get the correct directions because we went to the wrong RV Park first because they have similar names. Once we got to the correct place, we were given very good service. We had a tent spot reserved for our truck camper but they said we needed to be in an RV spot. They moved us to one quite easily and didn't charge us extra. The layout of this RV park is very nice, kind of cozy, with fencing or greenery separating many of the sites. Restrooms were very nice. Location is very convenient, right off a main road. We lucked out as they were offering a free breakfast that weekend. It is always so nice when an RV Park offers food for those who don't feel like cooking. We would definitely go back here. read more

Great RV Resort. This is a small RV park that is new, clean, well maintained, and run by courteous people. The staff running the place are the owners and the place is on their family farm. It's small with maybe 20 spots to park. More than half are pull through, maybe 7 are back in. Spots are flat and very spacious. It's all rock, but it's not dusty. They have an outdoor grilling area with a grill furnished. They also have an outdoor siting area with a modern gas fireplace. There is a hot tub as well as a cold tub outside. All the facilities are new, modern, clean. The laundry was great. Not large, but appropriate. The place is gated. So at night you are protected from random strangers pulling in. Wifi was probably 10 times faster than the average for an RV park. The location was excellent for visitors to Durango. It's about 5 miles out in the country with great access to the city. The location is very pleasant. You are on the edge of a real farm where they are growing alfalfa for sale. This is going to be in the top two percent of nice places to stay in your rv. read more

This is a hidden gem. Durango Ranch RV Resort is a great place to stay. You can always tell the difference when a park is owned by true RV enthusiast. Most RV Resorts claim to be Big Rig Friendly but Durango Ranch RV Resort truly is a Big Rig Friends place to stay. Their pull through sites are extremely large, level with new pedestals, good water, and a sewage dumps. The park has easy access to maneuver throughout the park and even their smaller back in sites accommodate a large 45 foot RV with room to park a tow car and with the same new accommodations. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful in every way possible. Durango Ranch RV Resort is located only 15 min from downtown the heart of Durango but far enough out to enjoy the beautiful peaceful surroundings. read more

We found this park using google- it had wonderful reviews and now we know why! it is a new RV park that is well cared for by the owners. Full hook up-Level sites, easy access to Durango and surrounding areas. We had originally booked only 4 nights but after the first night we decided to cancel our reservation near Ouray and stay here for 8 nights. We slept like babies as the park is so quiet. It was almost to capacity while we were there and I have a feeling it will stay busy as the word gets out. Most of the sites are pull through but they do have back in sites as well- all the sites seem to accommodate large rigs and trucks. Easy online booking and you can even pay online once you check in. Morning coffee in office and popcorn in the afternoon. Great wifi using Starlink. The owners are very attentive and kind. This is their family land and they have wonderful antiques displayed that were passed down from through several generations. This is definitely the place to stay if you like family friendly, clean and well cared for RV parks! We will be back! read more

This is our 2nd time here and this stay was every bit as good, if not better, than the first time a few years ago or so. This family is top knotch in customer service and pride of their RV Resort. Every time I spoke with someone whether it be over the phone or in person is mind, respectful and more than helpful. The entire facility is maintained immaculately; extraordinarily clean bathroom and showers. There's a grill and lounge area plus a beautiful and relaxing spa that is surrounded by beautiful outdoor furniture and a fire pit. The aesthetic touches here in there in their office, landscaping and bathrooms is beautiful. The DOG PARK is 2nd to none. My dogs love it here. Thank you, once again, for a wonderful experience. Great personable service. They told us they would receive mail and packages for us and when things arrived, they brought it to our site! Tanner was very polite and personable. He shared the Family History with us and some of his Grandfathers things were in the lobby which he went over with us and how they all fit in. Popcorn in the lobby is a nice touch Canadian Geese fly over every morning and evening (Sept) which is pretty cool . Sunsets are gorgeous!!! Limited space to walk though. We like to get in 4 to 5 a day and it's tough out here. The area gets an A+ for cleanliness. Very quiet at night. Little road noise in the morning but that is to be expected since it's right off a freeway A definite do over. read more

Passing through on a road trip from Southern California and decided to find a place to stay before heading back home through New Mexico. After looking at places closer to downtown Durango, we found this place. From the start, the hosts were really nice, offering to stay a little late and wait for us to get across town. The park is simple, gravel areas very level and a nice dog park. One of my dogs get stressed from the ride, so she loved being able to run free and get all then energy out. The restrooms and shows are immaculately kept. Inside welcome area has fresh coffee, snacks and brochures of local attractions. Tanner and Tori, one of the owners, was very helpful with ideas for us to checkout. We liked the place and hosts so much, instead of hitting the road, we stayed another night. Would definitely recommend this place and will come again. read more

Brand new park that's very well done. All new sites and office building, plus laundry and bath/showers. Sites are gravel and new grass has been planted and started to grow. We were in site 7, a back-in spot at the end of a row that had plenty of room for our 37" 5th wheel plus truck. Has picnic tables at each site and a BBQ area with grills for guest use and a pet area. The views are beautiful, with mountains and grassy plains all around. Very quiet and peaceful. We were on the far end away from the road, so noise wasn't a problem. Reception area is gorgeous with a nice sitting area and all kinds of historic farming tools as decoration. The hosts were very friendly and willing to chat about the area and suggest places to go. Durango is a great town and maybe 20 minutes away. The downtown area has all kinds of shops and restaurants, and there are all the usual chain stores along highway 550 as well. And if you're into the outdoors, there are many options such as hiking, scenic drives and skiing. We had a lovely stay and would definitely return! read more

We stayed at Durango Ranch RV for four nights in July of 2023. The management is very friendly. The roads and sites are gravel. Our site was level. There is a large green space between the RVs with a picnic table. The park is about five miles south of town in ranch territory and is very quiet. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Durango. read more

Excellent place to stay! Spots are generously spaced with grass in between, flat & level. Picnic tables are provided for each spot as well. The facilities are the cleanest we've seen. Large clean shower with great water pressure! They also have a spacious laundry room with very clean machines. The dog run/play area is a nice addition as well. The owners are super nice people and are on site everyday. We enjoyed staying here - the view of the mountains from here is beautiful as well. read more

This is an owner operated campground, and it shows. The family that owns the property do an amazing job. They are kind, friendly, courteous, and just genuinely nice folks. They treat you like a longtime friend at the first meeting. The property is very well maintained, the dog runs are clean and neat, the spaces are well kept, the community areas are always immaculate. The sites are a real treat as well. They are level and have plenty of space between. I also appreciate the fact that they are angled in a way that when you look out a window you don't stare at another RV. They afford incredible views of the mountains and Florida Mesa. Its also very quiet, it sits on a main road but it's back enough that you don't hear traffic. There are mule deer and other wildlife roaming the surrounding alfalfa and agricultural fields, and that just adds to the peacefulness. The community area has a hot tub, a kids pool, and a great sitting area, they also have a wood and gas grill available for anyone to use. The bathroom/shower facility is always clean, it's also free to use, while you stay in the park. The laundry facility is excellent and also well maintained. I'm a big fan of antiques and there are plenty of those around as well. The office is full of things from the late 1890's to the early 1900's. I had a chance to talk with the owner, Tanner and his wife, their family has been in the area for over a century, and they take great pride in the family land, they decided to share with their guests. I had a great time hearing about their history in the area, and some of the things that have transpired over the years here in Durango. The location is amazing as well. Very easy access to so many things to do and places to visit. If you come through Durango this is a fantastic spot. I could keep going. This place is a gem. I'll be back for sure! read more

Tanner and everyone we met at Durango Ranch RV Resort was simply top notch. Everything about the place was great...from the overall park grounds, to the individual spots, to the bathrooms/showers, front office, etc. We stayed here with three 40ft 5th wheels and there was plenty of space for everyone in our group.
