Only thing I care about is the fact that the technician, after failing an inspection because I did not want to be price gouged for $600 to replace one head light bulb (170 for one bulb and 2hrs of labor to replace a bulb), poked a hole in two newly (out of four since my 300c is AWD) purchased tires! Thanks for flattening two of my tires during a 2 hour routine inspection while my 5 year old son was in the car!! LooooL, but not really, I just want to say god bless and god speed 2 you, sir! Dunn tire: told me car needs passenger bulb cost $161 for one bulb plus $160 for 2 hours labor for one bulb. Also told me had an emissions problem but they didnt know what was causing it both these items prevented me from getting inspection so they said. At the end wanting to charge me almost a thousand dollars to repair all on top of their tech ruining my tires. All I received was the $21 back I paid for them to inspect and ruin my car after waiting 2 1/2 hours. Ordered 2 bulbs for 50 bucks both installed by my husband in under 10 minutes..total cost for bulb $50 Took car to my normal mechanic an hour away to complete its inspection....was told had no emissions problem..go figure...did my inspection an repair for my sunroof total cost $60. As far as my flat tires took them in also was told not flattened by a nail or screw...but did find hole and fixed them for me for free! $110 dollars later our car is back on the road opposed to the $1000 dunn tire wanted to charge never again.... I have never had a bad experience here. The staff is knowledgeable and fix what ever is wrong on the first try. I have never had to wait a crazy long time for anything if I make an appointment and I never am treated badly there. Goodyear Assurance Maxlife tires were purchased and installed within a few hours and so far they are good. Customer Service, on the other hand, is poor and disrespectful. I am fortunate to have a husband who was with me and knows this industry. They give you a list of things and talk down to you until they realize that he knew what he was talking about. Rebates are always a difficult thing to obtain. There is always one number missing or a letter or a weird excuse for not qualifying for the rebate. You purchase the tires and they fall into the correct category and you feel this should be easy. You get an email back that tells you they couldn't read something and follow the link but the link doesn't work and states it can't be found. You contact Dunn Tire in NF thinking that they could help or give you a clue as to what number Goodyear is looking for. They rudely say they don't get involved in rebates and then even more rudely put you back into the hold status to listen to music for another half hour before you hang up. I always liked Dunn Tire on Sheridan but unfortunately they did not have my tire size in stock. Next time I will wait. Don't go to the Dunn Tire in Niagara Falls, NY. read more

I asked him to plug it, he mumbled under his breath then ran in the back room, after trying to sell me a tire for $125? Booked online for service and an appointment. Customer service left a message the next day and had two or three reasons why they couldn't perform the service. So I ordered a complete set of tires also with an online appointment and received a message that the tires were discontinued. So here we have several reasons why nothing could be done yet there wasn't one alternative mentioned about what they COULD do. Sorry, I can't keep calling back. I can't run my business and theirs. There was a better Big Deal down the road. So after reading other reviews it seems I'm not the only person who had their tires slashed by a technician at this location. I came in to get my brand new (already bought Dunn tires) put on my vehicle. I had inspected the tires before arriving and they were fine. The tires were bought 2-3 years ago and stored in a utility closet in my apt that only I had access to. When I got here I had a 30-40 min wait even with an appointment. The technician (brown hair, late 20s-30s) was laughing when he came out from the back and said they could not put the new tires on my car as they had knife slash marks on the sidewall. I told him that was impossible as I had used the tires for 2-3 months then stored them. The tires had no damage at the time of storage, nor at the time I took them out of the closet and came to this location. The technician then proceeded to tell me I needed to buy new tires (he quoted a price higher than the price on the website), and he didn't mention the Dunn tire warranty which I have used for flat tires a couple of times. I called corporate and they made me jump through a lot of hoops instead of just replacing their damaged tires. I had to go out of my way after a long work day to another Dunn tire location to get pictures of the damage taken. Then corporate said they will "view the camera footage and get back to me". There are a few issues with this. 1)I was in the back and did not see any cameras, there is a good chance the tech could've done this out of camera sight 2) The corporate rep didn't even ask for my appointment time so he doesn't know when this happened 3) Even if corporate finds evidence their people are damaging customer's tires they could just lie and say they saw nothing. Nothing would prevent that. In short, Dunn tire, especially this location, is fraudulent and has sketchy employees. Corporate will not help you if you are a victim of a tech damaging your vehicle. They will make you go through a million hoops before they even offer you a replacement. I didn't want anything free, but seeing as my tires were perfectly good before I went to this location I would like them replaced. Corporate seems reluctant to do that. Reported on here and to the BBB. I will never shop at a Dunn tire ever again, I will visit a competitor. I will also tell everyone I know in WNY about this. read more

I've had 2 different experiences with this place and they were both bad. The first one was I had tire rot in my tires from my truck sitting over the winters before a bought it. When I went there to get my tires done, I had low tire pressure in one of some of them after they put the new ones on. I forget the actual amount it was at but it was supposed to be at 33 but it was way under. When I went back to tell them they I had low pressure, they attempted to put air in them but said they couldn't sue to the valve stems. It wasn't until my father left a review and corporate got back to us and then had them change out the valve stems. However the tires they sold me were Master Crafts and they ended up discontinuing the tires so when my tire just recently busted, they told me that they couldn't get the same tire and that they needed the same tire to do the work that I needed or I would've had to buy all 4 brand new tires which I just did around winter time for over $700. They guy that I talked to said he would send out emails to people and would get back to me at the end of the day but by that time I have called around and found another shop that really helped me out. I haven't has any other experiences with other places but I would recommend to go somewhere else. read more

Clerk accused me of staring down the guy inspecting my car through the glass window when all I was doing was watching everybody work through the glass. I didn't want to wait in the waiting room because there was 6 people in the room and there is a pandemic going on so I decided to spend my time waiting in the lobby where there was nobody. The clerk ask me If he can help me? I'm like what? I said no I'm just waiting for my car and you know that. When my car was finished the guy brought my car around and he left. I noticed my hood was agar and I told the clerk. He said yeah he probably forgot to close it because you were starring him down and just wanted to get you out of here. 5 bays away and I'm starring him down lol. I made an appointment for rotation and inspection for 10 am it was 45 minutes later that I had called headquarters to compline about the wait! They called the store right away and asked what the problem was and they said that they were backed up ! Bull crap I make appointments for a reason just because they make only pennies on inspections doesn't mean that I have to be placed farther back so you can make money on the tires or whatever!!! read more

Dunn Niagara Falls store is terrible , will not honor Pirelli mileage scam warranty . 50% of milage promised, tech did not even know mileage rating of tire I bought and did not know how to find out. I waited 10 days for them to contact Pirelli, and had to call them (Dunn ) to find out. Factory offered 15% courtesy discount, even though I have all receipts, for rotation and alignment done properly . Told me to call Pirelli If I didn't like it, tried for 2 days , could not get through or get a call back from Pirelli. Every time I have been there it is at least a 3 hour wait with 1 or 2 people in the waiting room. I will drive the 20 extra miles to the Lockport store as I have has better service in the past. Have been a Dunn customer for 25 years, means nothing to them. Now they charge for mounting and balancing tires that are on warranty, how cheap! Dunn relies on uninformed customers who just go along with what they say to extract money from them, especially relating to NYS inspections, which I would never do there. MS Lewiston NY read more

This is one of the most horrid locations to have work completed on your vehicle, I went in this past time for a vehicle inspection , they held my vehicle for over 2.5 hours to complete a NYS certified inspection, passed paid and left, brought vehicle to another garage recently not even 2 full months after this "inspection" passed by this location and I am told there is no way my vehicle should have passed, brakes and rotors needed to be replaced, all tires need to be replaced!!! And this is a tire shop!!! Actually!!! And also wipers and side parking lights need replacing, all very easy to fix items was just never told they would fail a Safety inspection!! How disturbing that this location would rapidly pass a vehicle with so many safety issues just so they can get money, also they were so very nice( enter sarcastic voice) to tell me my license plate bulbs needed replacing and the bulbs cost $6 ok, no problem switch them out... oh hold on we need to charge you an hour of labor to replace two bulbs!! What?!?! $39 to replace two bulbs? Are you mad?!? That is insane. So yeah tread carefully when seeking any kind of safety inspection from these clearly incompetent skilled workers. Very sad, I do not like leaving negative reviews but this needs to stop, for the safety of me and those who I drive around things should have been handled better! read more

I went in the Niagara falls Dunn Tire. I did not like the manager. He got cocky when I asked why my car was taking so long.

My wife got a flat tire, so i sent her over to Dunn Tire because they have always been very good in the past. The tire was not repairable seeing that the side wall was damaged. So the salesman told her that she would need a new tire and not just one but all 4 tires. Now we have a 2013 Ford escape (AWD) that has 20k on it, meaning the tires do as well, She didn't feel they were worn enough for replacement but she went with the sales pitch anyways. 20 min later the salesman says sorry we don't have those tires i sold you but i have others that are more expensive i can put on for the same price. Awesome! Better tires same price! (So she thought) Tires go on 2.5 hours later she leaves with new tires. Next day she tells me there is a shaking/wobble in her seat. Take it back thinking the balance was off. Next day same shaking, take it back again and the salesman says it has to be the alignment let us check it for you and balance the tires again (3rd balance). Alignment sheet says the back was off by almost nothing. Next day same feeling in seat. This is when i had enough and called corp. customer service. The service woman was great!! (only reason for 2 stars, otherwise would be 1) She understood and said she would get me in touch with the store manager. (i was feeling good) Untill I talked to him, he told me that the tires that they put of the vehicle were not meant for it, but for a heavier duty truck (which she was not told) just that these were better tires. So he says that he needs to order the tires butttttt they are $8 more a tire. So i had to argue with him that this was their fault and i was not paying for their mistake. (Angry again). He reluctantly agrees to eat the extra charge and change the tires. To top it all off when we get in there he says would u like these new valve stems. Sure! Ohhh those are $5 a piece. Hahah no thank you just the tires then (Thought when getting new tires i would get new valve stems too) guess not. Im not usually one to complain but this really rubbed me the wrong way, I and anyone I talk to will no longer be doing business with the Niagara Falls Dunn Tire again. Now that the new set of "correct" tires are on the vehicle rides just fine. read more

Yes, if you go in without an appointment you may have to wait quite a while but that's because it is a very popular store. I personally usually avoid chain auto repair businesses because they are often overpriced and dishonest, but Dunn Tire is an exception. They offer reasonable prices on tires and most importantly a road hazard guarantee that gives you a free replacement if they can't repair your tire. I've already had one tire replaced for free. So far I have had nothing but good experiences with this location. read more
