Before starting, he provided a clear and detailed estimate, along with his license number, insurance, and workers' compensation information. The work also comes with a 10-year warranty, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. The entire project was completed within 5 days, exactly as promised in the contract. On top of that, Jose even helped us install a gazebo at no extra charge, which was a huge and much-appreciated bonus.

Francis (Falanisi) is truly knowledgable, fair, and professional. He was extremely responsive and genuine, and guided me through the entire process to ensure we achieved my desired outcome. The curb sidewalls leading into my driveway were extremely high and wide making it very difficult for vehicles to pull in and out without damaging their tires and/or rims. Francis was able to suggest a cost effective and reasonably priced option, and then completed the service and work expeditiously, as promised. The pictures were taken right after, but now that the driveway has been washed down, you can hardly tell work had been done. The driveway looks amazing now, and allows for vehicles to comfortably pull in and out without damaging their tires and/or rims. I highly recommend Francis and Kokonut Konkrete for all of your concrete needs!! You definitely won't go wrong with them.

I hired Jaime years ago to fix a wall that was missing some cinder blocks, to increase privacy of…read moreour back yard which faces the street. After initial inspection, he came with a crew. They added few rows without paying attention to detail of adding sufficient concrete between them. My mom had to tell the workers to fill in the gaps. Then we had to tell them to fill in the gaps on our neighbor side because we share a wall. They did lazy work. Those areas were not filled at the joints. Needless to say, years later, today I am having issues with the wall. Because of the size block they used, my wall is now leaning and starting to buckle out. The new contractor I hired said this new block that was added is not up to code and it is the incorrect type/size. They should have never used it. Contractor also said many blocks are not set correctly because the joints were not properly adhered together with enough concrete between them. I was charged $1300 to add these 2-3 rows of blocks. And this was at least 7-8 years ago. I feel like I was ripped off. Now I have to tear the wall down and do it all over again because it has leaned to far it can't be repaired. It has to be replaced. Very upsetting especially because I wanted to hire a small local business. I want to support my community. It feels like they took advantage of our lack of knowledge behind wall building and codes. That's prob the worst part.

The situation was disappointing and frustrating to say the least, so I took matters into my own hands and called LA Concrete Works to see if they can fix the job for me. After reviewing the job and settling on a final start date, I could already see that this team was exceptional at what they do. Joe was communicative, ready to answer any question, and very lovely to work with - he is very detailed and came to visit the site often despite their busy schedule. Sydney at the main office was so understanding and a rockstar at keeping me up to date on the plan of action. Not to mention, my wife approved of and liked the job he did. He is highly skilled in his work. His crew is equally friendly and dedicated, always taking pride in the quality of their work. From the very beginning, working with him was a breeze, and his quote was more competitive than those from other contractors. I developed a good rapport with him and often reached out for technical questions and referrals. It's worth noting that both my wife and I appreciate the work he did, which is even more important than what I have already mentioned. Alfredo's project involved installing pavers in my front yard, and he expertly followed the blueprints I provided. Now, I am focused on completing the fountain and landscaping in the planters as outlined in the plan. I highly recommend his services and commend his leadership.
