As a H.O.A board president I am entrusted to get the best value for our community while protecting our economy and infrastructure. A project that requires some 4,000 gallons of paint requires research and vetting before putting signature to paper. I want to acknowledge the team at Dunn-Edwards for coming in first place with the quality of paints, the willingness to be patient with our process, stepping up to the plate with enhanced offers to be as competitive as they could be. The graphics team played a role as well with renderings and design suggestions. The paint swatches and design pamplets galore were very useful for our homeowners to review. The point of contact who brought it all together was Shane McKeever out of the Roseville area which is where our condominium property is located. Shane was a pleasure and as noted so very patient during what must have seemed a very long process to him. We reviewed all of the major brands and there was a close 2nd but, in the end, Shane made the decision much easier to make. read more

Marie is an exceptional paint design consultant who helped us pick the perfect color palette for our exterior house project. I didn't know where to begin but quickly grew more excited and confident after the recommendations she came back with. Collaborating with Marie made the experience easy and enjoyable and in addition to being very happy with the end result, I learned a tremendous amount from her during the process. I would recommend her expertise to anyone looking any home paint project. read more

My contractor who has painted my cabinets and doors buys the paint here. A few weeks ago I painted the fences around the house. My homeowners association requires the pre-approved colors be purchased at Dunn Edwards. The paint in all scenarios worked out fine. I had several gallons of old paint that needed disposal. I called ahead and got the okay to bring them in. The supposed daily limit to dispose paint is 5 gallons / day. I brought in about 7 gallons and the guys were nice and took it all without complaint. Cool, saved me a second trip. I'm about to start yet another painting project. Will buy the paint here. read more

After spending a day outdoors with kids and suffering a headache, I heard on the news that there is a better mask you could wear. Although the Camp Fire is about two hours away, the smoke has taken a detrimental toll on air quality. They even said that the quality of our air is worst in the world! I was in the search for 3M N95 mask with a ventilation spout to keep you cool. After calling several box stores, I found Dunn Edwards. They had them! The store is quite large with a large paint selection and all your painting necessities. The saleswoman was very friendly and helpful. I'm glad I called them and didn't just stop my search after hearing Home Depot/Lowe's ran out. read more

I visited this Roseville location several times over the past month matching up and comparing colors for a re-paint of my home. I tested several sample colors on my house before I made the commitment. Vanessa, a color consultant with Dunn-Edwards, provided me with several color options, as well as a picture of my home with the final color combination added. It was fantastic to be able to see the house with the actual colors applied. There was no charge for this service, which really gave me an edge when it came to determining the final color combination on the house. Service was perfect on every visit. The actual paint, which I have used in the past, holds up well, and the exterior enamels for both stucco and wood are easy to clean and about as durable as any paint I have ever used. Marko Cekic of Exclusive Exteriors, a painting contractor that uses Dunn-Edwards paints exclusively, did the actual painting of the house. Beautiful work, double coated on the stucco, and at a very reasonable price. read more

Ridiculous how long we had to wait to have one quart of paint color matched. They said it would be one hour and they would call us. At 2 hours we called to see if it was ready and they said another 15 min. This just seems ridiculous to have customers have to wait that long or drive back and forth to wait for paint especially when I was in the middle of a job. I have never had to do this before and can't believe this is the new procedure. read more

Mackenzie and Marie were instrumental in helping Junction Elementary with our teacher lounge make-over. They generously donated the paint and sundries needed for the room. In addition, they helped us design the room by suggesting what would work best with the room. This was the foundation for our room, and it wouldn't have been possible without them! Thank you! read more

I highly recommend Dunn-Edwards Paints. I worked with Brittany who took time to help answer all my questions. She also was able to give me painting tips and let me know about available discounts. Marie, the professional colorist, was instrumental in matching my old room color and provide directions for my other new colors that I needed. It is such a great service that is free! The quality of paint was fantastic and went on so easily. I only needed one coat. They also have a website so you can document what colors you choose, no more looking at old paint cans to try to figure it out. read more

For starters, yes, it is a five star review for paint. Not necessarily the product itself, which has been just fine, but rather the service I've gotten. The idea of reviewing a paint store is, well, about as exciting as watching paint dry. Over the past year and a half, I've had a handful of projects that have required different types of paints. Not just painting the walls in my kid's room that makes my wife happy but real man-type projects. The service I received from Dan at the Roseville store was as good as it gets. His paint expertise got me the right stuff and the right equiptment for the job. My own fault, I had a color issue - he fixed it. Confused about what was the best paint roller - he offered advice. I just wish he came out to my house to assist with the clean-up. As for the paint itself, it still looks great. Will I be back? Without a doubt.. read more

If you want beautiful Traditional, Mid-Century Modern or ANY color in between, rush down to Dunn-Edwards on Douglas in Roseville!!! SO MANY interior and exterior colors from which to choose. Be sure to ask for Maria Brown, the Professional Color Advisor. She can show you the perfect color and even suggest how to make it better. To have a great paint selection completed, ask for Jessica! They both made the tedious selection process so much fun! And, for all their assistance and excellent customer service, it didn't cost an extra dime! If we could give them 10 Stars, we would! Thank you Maria and Jessica!! read more

Daniel went out of his way (and out of his building) to get the perfect match for a project that I could not bring the color to him. I have never got this level of service and expertise from a paint store and very much appreciated the extra effort. They should give this guy a raise! read more

WOW thanks you so much for the great color match Dan! Had some water damage in the Landry room and needed to repair the wall. I bought the house this way so I had no idea who, what, or where the original paint came from. Your representative Dan took the time to help me with the color and the results were way better than expected. I'm in the customer service business and Dan really gets it! Its refreshing to talk with someone who actually cares about a product and not just collecting a pay check. You have a customer for life thanks so much! read more
