"Pervasive, but like in a good way!"…read more ... So said the young lady shopper I passed walking into this grocery store in North Dakota, when she overheard my surprise to find a Starbucks here. It's your typical grocery store SB-- dependable quality control, meticulously measured and prepared, and served with that barista-panache we've all come to expect. Yes, even here in NoDak. Dickinson is on the larger end of cities by ND standards, so not terribly surprising... I guess I'm always a little incredulous that a little Seattle coffee company had such a global impact. As best we could figure, this is your only reasonable Starbucks option relatively close to the I-94. You're not going to find much between here and Medora, anyway.

Stale grudge and water at the north base of the kiosk ~ held in check by filthy floor mops. Obviously a leak somewhere and a board of health hazard by a food dispensing company. Always a blast to enjoy small talk with Jack when you check out. I love their ice in the soft drinks, it's that small-cube "hospital" ice that turns your drink super cold in a hurry. The atmosphere is cozy, and like others suggested, grandma's house kinda cozy. Who doesn't like going to grandma's house? They need more chickens in the restaurant decor! Hahaha I still don't know why they replaced their iconic old sign "BUCKETS OF CHICKEN" with that hideous new one. Even on closer inspection (like 5-feet away) I still can't figure out what that clip art image in the middle is. A kettle, octopus with some tomatoes? Lol

I genuinely enjoy shopping at Cash Wise here in Dickinson, North Dakota. Every visit has been a…read morepositive experience, largely because of the outstanding employees who consistently demonstrate professionalism, kindness, and a genuine willingness to assist their customers. Their friendly and courteous service does not go unnoticed and is especially meaningful to individuals like myself who live with a disability. Because of my disability, I rely on the store's electric mobility scooters to shop independently. I am sincerely grateful that Cash Wise provides this valuable service, as it enables many individuals with mobility limitations to complete their shopping with greater dignity, comfort, and independence. This accommodation is not merely a convenience--it is an essential resource that allows many members of our community to remain active and self-sufficient. With that said, I would like to respectfully offer one suggestion for future consideration. If and when it becomes financially feasible, it would be wonderful to see the store gradually update its fleet of mobility scooters with newer models. Having used similar scooters at other grocery stores, I have found that newer equipment often provides a smoother ride, greater reliability, improved maneuverability, and enhanced comfort, all of which can make a significant difference for customers who depend on them throughout their shopping experience. I fully recognize that replacing mobility equipment represents a considerable financial investment, and I understand that such decisions must be balanced with many other operational priorities. For that reason, I want to emphasize that this suggestion is offered not as a criticism, but as a hopeful recommendation for the future. I remain sincerely appreciative that Cash Wise continues to provide mobility scooters at all. Many businesses either offer limited accessibility equipment or none at all, and I believe Cash Wise deserves recognition for its commitment to serving customers with disabilities. Thank you to the management and staff for your continued dedication to customer service and for helping make your store welcoming and accessible to everyone. Your efforts are genuinely appreciated, and I hope you will consider this suggestion as an opportunity to further enhance an already positive shopping experience for those of us who rely on these important accessibility resources.
